My dad watched all three of the Banjo-Kazooie games with me and he asked me why Tooty didn't appear in the other ones. He jokingly asked me if Gruntilda ate her
Ocarina of time, what a joke! I'd sure give that Link a poke! For he wouldn't beat me, not so much, I'd blast him down, all I'd need is a really good clutch!
In the lead up to the release of Yooka-Laylee, some of the developers revealed why Gruntilda shoots one last spell as she falls. That was meant to hit you, and you then had to rescue Banjo and Kazooie, playing as Tooty! It's a pity that that had to be dropped. It reminds me of how in Metroid Prime, there was originally going to be an extra 'escape' section after the final battle, but instead, you magically appear back at the ship!
Yes. It's really a shame that was dropped because Tooty would've been able to repay her brother Banjo for rescuing her. ❤️💕❤️ If only time wasn't a problem.

So true! Still, Banjo and Kazooie have taken the credit for defeating Grunty and she knows it was them she's always beaten by. Which is why she hates them and wants revenge against them.
Fun fact, that spell Gruntilda tried to hit Banjo with when she fell WAS supposed to hit him and turn him into a frog, so then Tooty would go on a little adventure of her own to find enough Mumbo Tokens so Mumbo could break the spell, but that was cut for time.

Never played the full game bc I was still a kid and just messed around because that’s how I played as a kid. I need to actually play this game and now that he is in smash makes me want to play it more
Starscream91 ok bet
When I was a kid and played this game on N64 I got frustrated because the game does not allow you to fight Gruntilda anymore after you beat her, unless you start the game from the beginning.
Wait... it doesnt? I just beat it on Switch I'll have to check
"Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts make Banjo-Kazooie look like joke." That is just…blatant false advertising.
It’s now “Banjo-Tooie”
6:33 this is banjo's final smash in super smash bros. ultimate
"Mumbo's jaw dropped in awe"
"Banjo-Kazooie : Nuts & Bolts make Banjo-Kazooie look like joke"
Liesssss. So strange how they left this in the 64 version even though stop n swap never happened. That's pretty funny how Grunty has multiple lines that can happen during the fight and end of it.
the first part of the battle, gruntilda is trying to set banjo and kazooie in a rodeo battle because she is using her broomstick as a raging bull.
My boys are in smash...
@Starscream91 informal use of boy to signify more than one person, such as "you guys" when referring to a mixed gender group. Anyone who's excited and played the game knows she's a girl.
@Starscream91 I was gonna use "couple" but it sounded weird since they aren't romantic (I think 😳).
I’d take a banjo kazooie game with a map as big as breath of the Wild thank you
As a kid I never noticed the woman carrying the platter with the two melons...
You make it look so easy...
The final boss music is THEE greatest boss theme
I missed 1 puzzle piece and came to see the ending since i did not want to go back lol
Ok so since when did the game over text appear
