You’re a better singer than the guy in Third Eye Blind. It’s interesting to hear that line “break a promise to your mother“ always get stuck they drop it off on the single release and it just doesn’t fit the music. It makes the line really awkward without the word break in it. I think they made a mistake in the production of it but who am I to say they’ve got some really good songs including this one
