I‘m Praying 5 Times a day, well at least try go do them all and fasting the whole month of ramadan, doing everything I need to do as a muslim, praying for Allah to help me find the right way for years. And still, I feel no attraction to women at all, I avoid as many homosexual acts as I can but still.. I wish I wasnt homosexual, I also wish I would be able to have a happy life with a wife and children. Im alone in this world since even my muslim brothers and sisters don‘t accept me, I have Allah and this is enough for me. I have this test since I was like 11 years old

It has been years since I realized I was attracted to boys and not girls and since then I've asked Allah to spare me of this filth if a desire. I pray 5 times, fast all 30 days and try to keep away from other homosexuals and such acts but still sometimes my nafs comes in control of me and then I repent and cry. I'm starting to hate myself for it, how many times can I as a Muslim engage in this filthy act and then ask for forgiveness. I'm so tired if this life, I try to imagine my future with a wife and kids but then I realize what if I don't feel attracted to her wouldn't it be a huge dishonesty to her, she would be insulted and no woman deserve such a man. I don't know what the future holds and I can't relieve my struggle cz that'd be an eternity of hell fire but honestly I'm exhausted. I've no friends cz having female friends is haram cz theoretically I'm supposed to get attracted to them. On the other hand I can't be friends with any guys as they might judge and tell that I'm not like normal guys who talk about sports, girls or have that manliness. I'm too afraid to let anyone know this and another reason is to avoid catching feelings for any of my Muslim brothers, I have previously fallen in love with one of my friends and used to think about him in a bad way which might have led me to comit sin so I gradually cut him off to avoid myself from this. Now I'm friendless, lonely and socially incapable. I sometimes pray that I live a short life, until I can buys a home for my parents, support my sublings until they become independent adults and see my sisters get married. After that I don't know what should I expect. I fear gravely that I may be a sign of end of times as this filthiness is spreading aming the Muslims like wildfire. I know bcz I've seen n met many who openly persue this kinda lifestyle. The thought of my existence being a sign for other people to get to the right path is just so humiliating and sad. I need a friend who can understand and help me get through it bcz I'm slowly letting go step by step I've been noticing an exponential decrease in my iman and I'm not ok. Please pray for me, I'm praying for last 5 years. I'm 20 yo. I have experienced sex in very early stage of my life. As early as 7 year old I was getting molested by my uncle when I didn't know what he was telling me to do. But I think this has something to do with my brain defunctioning as when I hut puberty I never knew that men to men is not the right way and always fantasized about it which installed this haram software into my sexual desire section and now I'm stuck with it. I don't want to give up but it's too hard for me . Allah please give me strength to leave my hopes to being able to love someone I feel attracted to. Please take this test away as I'm too weak and sinful now. Please forgive me and if any other fellow gay Muslim reads this give him strength and hope that he's not alone and that he just have to live this life as a great test from you.

You're now friendless, lonely, and miserable. Great job, you're being a wonderful Muslim by repenting. This is what Allah wants. You will find a woman who will be with you and clean and cook for you and never ask for anything from you because this is what women were created for: to serve their husband and Allah azzawajal. Just lie to her as marriage is half your iman and that is more important. Continue to repent and maybe Allah will take the gay away and you can be just like all the other wonderful straight brothers at the mosque who respect women so much.

Particularly insightful is the part where Sheikh says that fighting homosexual instincts is jihad, an internal struggle that is rewarded by Allah.
For that reason it is important that we Muslims avoid as much as possible abbreviated sentences like “homosexuality is a sin” and we replace it with the full sentence “homosexual acts are a sin” (as indicated in the Qur'an)
By using a shortened version like “homosexuality is a sin” we risk a few things.
First we risk extending sinfulness to homosexual thoughts, feelings, tendencies whose cause is still uncertain and can be different from person to person (for some can be a test from Allah, for others a temptation from Shaytan, for others the result of the socio-cultural environment they grew up in).
Second, we risk falling into the trap of LGBT organisations pointing fingers at Islam as a religion against “love” and human feelings.
And finally, speaking of love. A major complication in this matter is the fact that modern society has created the equation sex = love. Intercourse between a husband and wife is not exactly love; it is the fulfilment of a natural human instinct imprinted in us to guarantee procreation and continuation of lineage.
By turning sex into a synonym of “love” we will fall again into the trap of the LGBT agenda that says that “love is love” and therefore any religion that is against love, including between people of the same gender is discriminatory and enemy of society.

Since sex is not equal to love, and love is NOT a controllable feeling (Allah puts what is in a person's heart), then its okay to spend your life with somebody you love and take care of them and be kind to them, just without the serial aspect?

Of course it would be OK. Nowhere in the Qur'an it says we can't love or look after people of the same gender.

"You approach men lustfully in place of women. You are a people who exceed all bounds." (7:81)
Allah SWT is condemning homosexual Lust not Love

  • @nufailanoon
    @nufailanoon 3 месяца назад +75

me replying to one of the comments: I appreciate you coming here to express your opinion. You are smart tbh. yes, logically being g-ay is not a choice. And what does being ga-y mean? It means the feelings of sexual attraction towards same gender. This is something internal. In Islam, the prophet of Allah said: "If a worshipper thinks of a bad deed then he does not do it, Allah will write it down as *one good deed* And if he thinks of it then does it, Allah will write it down as one bad deed.” Source: Al-Bukhaari (6491)
So homosexuals are given more good deeds. The anti g-ay narrations simply say it is a major sin to sleep with a man if you are a man, that's an action that a g-ay person can choose to do or not do. Being g-ay in and of itself is not haram at all, Islam never hates people for something they didnt choose. It is inhumane, actually, to hate someone for something they cant control

In all three abahamic religions: Christianity, Judaism and Islam, homosexuality is seeing as a sin to the conservative part of those religions. The weird thing about it is that from all the religions in the world, only those religions condemn homosexuality. Also from all the religions in the world those three are the ones saying they are unanimous, they are the real religion. And they are usually the ones fighting each other as well. It is sad that because of those religions a minority has to suffer. But I am glad to know that just like in Christianity and in Judaism, there are Muslims that are secular and respect and welcome homosexuality. I have met many Muslims who have been nothing but tolerant, respectful, kind, friendly and welcoming to me knowing I am gay. Religion should be a way of bring peace and tolerance towards each other and not hate. Nowadays, during the time of social media where lies and hate are spread around so fast and people are pushed into bubbles of false information, they end up radicalizing themselves. Sometimes I ask myself why so much hate come from those three religions when religion should teach you to love? Anyways, I do not wish any of you any harm. I do hope though that some day, those of you preaching the hate against the lgbt community wake up and see that that’s a mistake.

Allah commands us to treat human beings with the basic dignity. Our religion pushes us to be better, as a way of showing Allah's Grace and Mercy. This is why, if a homosexual wants to engage with the community in a respectful manner, we return the treatment. It doesn't matter if someone is Orthodox or secular, that's our basic etiquette.
That being said, you view of religion is very simplistic. I'm guessing being raised in a secular environment does that. The fighting that you see is done by people in power against people without power, and even then some of their cause have more validity to their cause than others.
I'm gonna tell you the honest truth even though you're not gonna like it. "Secular Muslim" is an oxymoron, because we cannot disassociate Islam from any aspect of our life. It encompasses private, public, marital, social conduct, dress codes, inheritance, business, politics, military, economics, education, etc literally everything. Muslims claiming to be secular have given up on most of these things, and not even you should have respect for such people who literally parade their lack of integrity.
Your perception of religion won't change anything. I don't wish you harm, but you shouldn't expect unconditional love and acceptance either. We treat people with the basic respect, but don't ask us to cross our God given limits.

That's why I don't understand the analogy with the chocolate. Second, how do you know what your God wants or doesn't want? How do you know that he even is real? @@adrianosanzo4243 hello brother, homosexuality does have harmful effects - along with the infamous STDs, men who have sex with men also contact non-STD diseases like Hepatitis A and E, even with the highest level of protection. On top of all this, there is the obvious risk of moral and sexual degradation - adultery with the same gender can rise manifold because men already have a higher sex drive.
How do we know God is real?? Good question - we know this through God's creation. The perfection that we see in the universe can under no circumstances be a result of randomness. This is a whole hour long discussion which i would love to have with you one on one if God wills. However, due to the limitations of time and space, I'll conclude that God is real. Secondly, if and when you read the Qur'an (which is God's word), there He mentions homosexuality as one of the worst sins. Do let me know if you're interested to discuss God personally, we can get in touch.
"Homosexuality is prevalent in the animal world" - true, it is, but so is incest, eating children etc. Nature also has drugs, doesn't mean we'll get onboard that ride, hahaha. What if a homosexual man marries a homosexual woman (both Muslims, ofcourse) and they develop a companionship, not necessarily the regular one like a heterosexual husband-wife. But something more platonic, than sexual.
I've always felt like this should be set up for devout muslims who struggle with homosexuality. Seeing that a lot of homosexuals end up feeling lonely and dejected, why not marry a homosexual of the opposite gender. Be friends, and companions in sickness and in health. May be you'll still have to fight off your physical needs, but atleast the emotional needs will be taken care of.

    Surah As-Saffat 133. alhamdullilah (Lut, when he said to his people..) Lut (Lot) is the son of Haran the son of Azar (Terah), and he was the nephew of Ibrahim, peace be upon them both. Lut had believed in Ibrahim and migrated with him to the Sham area. Allah then sent Lut to the people of Sadum (Sodom) and the surrounding villages, to call them to Allah, enjoin righteousness and forbid them from their evil practices, their sin, and wickedness. It this area, they did things that none of the children of Adam or any other creatures ever did before them. They used to have sexual intercourse with males instead of females. This evil practice was not known among the Children of Adam before, nor did it even cross their minds, so they were unfamiliar with it before the people of Sodom invented it, may Allah's curse be on them. `Amr bin Dinar conmented on;
    مَا سَبَقَكُمْ بِهَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِّن الْعَـلَمِينَ
("...as none preceding you has committed in all of the nations.") "Never before the people of Lut did a male have sex with another male." This is why Lut said to them,
("Do you commit lewdness such as none preceding you has committed in all of the nations Verily, you practice your lusts on men instead of women.") meaning, you left women whom Allah created for you and instead had sex with men Indeed, this behavior is evil and ignorant because you have placed things in their improper places. Lut, peace be upon him, said to them:
    هَـؤُلآءِ بَنَاتِى إِن كُنْتُمْ فَـعِلِينَ
("these (the girls of the nation) are my daughters (to marry lawfully), if you must act (so).") 15:71 So he reminded them of their women, and they replied that they do not desire women!,
    قَالُواْ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا لَنَا فِى بَنَاتِكَ مِنْ حَقٍّ وَإِنَّكَ لَتَعْلَمُ مَا نُرِيدُ
(They said: "Surely, you know that we have neither any desire nor need of your daughters, and indeed you know well what we want!" ) 11:79 meaning, you know that we have no desire for women and you know what we desire with your guests.

Be careful about what you teach because if you're wrong, you're the one who will be going to hell. Go study the quaran again.
The punishment for homosexuality is not directly stated in the quaran. Or at all. It is incited in a chapter where God is inferring to rape. Which is a sin. The hadith for the punishment of homosexuals is now accepted as inauthentic and not coming from the prophet. Wise up. Thanks.

Homosexuality has always existed is part of human nature and part of thousands of animal species too. What has not always existed is controlling and dividing religions. Think…
Btw, you are watching this person talk through the creation of a gay person (Allan turner whom invented the computer). I pray for truth for all souls lost seeking light in dark doctrines.

What a silly question. Someone who fornicates, drinks alcohol or backbites isn't necessarily a disbeliever. Then what reason is there to suspect that homosexuality necessarily makes a person a disbeliever? It's a sin, that's it.

If you're not forcing and don't do it openly as to advertise it. Its fine but not encouraged. The goal of life is to pray, do good deeds and raise a family. Just like women, men crave to raise a family after a certain age. It is in the nature of humans. Pleasures of the flesh die out as humans age. Ultimately, it is upto the individual. 1st is that you heard the last message. 2nd is that you accepted the message. Finally, how well and how much you follow the last message is the quality of your belief and will reflect the quality of your reward in the hereafter. Ask forgiveness always.

How can you stand in front of Allah Almighty on judgement day and answer this That he destroy Luts people over this major Sin and you were doing it
Zina is a small sin compared to homosexuality it destroys Societies
How can you be a Muslim and a mushrik at the same time
Doing something God forbid very strictly Even a person who doesn't pray is a kafir even though he's a so called Muslim but for Allah he's not So homosexuals are not Muslims You can't do right and wrong at same time that's what you are rewarded when you abandon the mushrik deeds So wakeup Allah said We made men for Women AND Women for Men only Sheikh please don't be so soft When they burn in hellfire they will turn to you that you misguided them

Brother calm down, he's a sheikh who has studied this matter extensively. There's a difference between reading the Qur'an and actually studying it. You have to understand the terminology used when you say kafir and mushrik and someone who commits sin out of human weakness.

With all due respect, if we understand that being gay is a natural inclination for a number of peiple, not sonething that is chosen randomly, and if we believe that Allah is our holy father who created us all, then surely 2 people of the same gender who love each other is a beautuful thing. God is love.
