"Are you feeling suic!dal?"
*"Not yet. I want a cheeseburger"*
I like big cheeseburgers. I can't barely breathe. Weasel.
I remember getting this drunk and ending up in jail several times , when those drugs and alcohol wear off it's a nightmare. Thank God for sobriety
Alcohol is a drug 🎉

"I've throwed up more beer than ya'll have ever drank!" Give that man a merit badge.
More like give him a new liver.
@@MungoThorne my thought exactly. lol
nah he don't need a new liver, he's already pickled his 😆😅. My great uncle drank so much liquor over his lifetime and he still out lived all his siblings(died at 98yrs). We often wondered how and came to the conclusion that he drank so much alcohol that he "pickled"(preserved) his organs, much like canning fruits and vegetables to preserve them so they last for years. Lmao
That was Savage and Awesome at the same time
I stand corrected, THAT was the best part of the show! 🤣🤣 I genuinely liked that old dude! I don't drink but it made me wanna have some drinks and sing along with him! 🤷🏻♀️💩🤣
Imagine being so drunk that you try to place an order for burger and fries at a cop's desk while in jail.
Best part of the show, watching the hamburglar in action! 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah... that's pretty drunk. I haven't been that bad, but I did once get a drunken disorderly conduct. But by the time I was in the jail, it was all laughs. Talking about ufc, woman, hunting and such. I knew I was just too drunk. Judge laughed it off as well.
I know! I mean he didn’t even take advantage of the discount menu!
😂😂😂🤗🍔🍟🧋 LOL
Too bad they don’t serve fast food in the county jail
This Sgt. is so cool, and has a calming affect on most of the inmates. That’s because he listens to them, and is fair.
He’s great
Agree!
Imagine living your one short life with that lack of self respect. Really is pitiful, and a waste.
Total waste
They crack me up when they say they can’t breathe, but their mouths are running. They’re screaming and everything else.
Even whispering means being able to inhale/exhale, in other words-- breathing!
@@Seattle-ish that is the most ignorant and incorrect comment I've ever read.

Oh I tried it & I can talk & hold my breath. I think that guy was just wanting special attention, but you really don’t know in my opinion.
I mean one can talk a little bit w/out their full breath. You exhale a tiny I guess when you talk lightly.
When dude tried to order a double cheeseburger I laughed from my soul! 😂😂😂
Was more funny when the officer joined in saying: you want a coke?
Lol
Wait a second Miss Lisa. I ordered a double cheeseburger a beer. All you gave me was a stale baloney sandwich. If you keep this up, I won't give you any more business!
i have no idea what drug he used!😂😂
I felt nothing but contempt for the slovenly disrespectful drunk who was out trying to fight people.
Bro, I just get an ad from McDonald’s before I watched this video 🤣😂🤣
Sgt Hughes has a gift. He was even telling the arresting officers to clear away from the inmate and set him down easy. Some people are just able to break through whatever front people put up and try to act hard. He just talks to them calmly and actually tries to listen to what people have to say.
All C.O.s need to be more like him... He was great

That first inmate was definitely an original! What a trip!

Same here. I’m a nurse and more than once people called 911 from the hospital because they wanted to report us because they were not being treated right. The United States is filled with a bunch of entitled people who act like toddlers.

They aren't. Starting salary for a jail guard in Michigan is about $60K plus health insurance.
Small Man Syndrome sure seems to play a major role in a lot of these cases.
Right? Small men are the worst.

Really like Vicente, the big bald officer. He is always respectful, considerate, and shows compassion too in many episodes. But who in there right mind would willingly test his patience like they do. Hes is one huge dude. I wouldn't want to go toe to toe with him on his own. He doesn't tolerate any guff.
It’s apparent that alcohol brings out the worst in people, especially people who have zero self discipline. There is nothing better than watching an idiot get their comeuppance.
All the staff absolutely professional under difficult circumstances, well done
"He's a fighter."
True enough, just not an effective fighter.
When you're drunk or high the only thing you're effective at is being a loud irritant.
Re: the last guy - his blood sugar was only 247? A little elevated, sure, but not to the point that would make a person violent. Speaking of, I've had higher readings than that and all it does is make me feel tired, lethargic, and thirsty [for water]. I've never heard the nurse's claim that it makes people violent.
idk whether it's high or low blood sugar but i think it can make a person irrational and impatient maybe but i def wouldn't say violent haha
It definitely can at that level - people react differently, some act exactly like a drunk person (and just like some people are violent when drunk, some aren’t) - I had a guy with a similar bg level pull a knife on me and get arrested
I am a nurse and high blood sugar can definitely make a person violent or act abnormal or confused.
That is more than a little high.
Really sad to see a 9-year Airborne vet in this situation. I hope he's doing better today.
He definitely DIDN'T need a lecture and a smug , condescending attitude from the wannabe nurse on how to live his life.
I agree the sexual abuse against anyone, children being the most heinous act, should be dealt with life sentences even were it’s a VET involved. However when VETs come through the system much more needs to be done to help them, a lot are homeless because they just can’t cope with running a place of their own, they need re training in how to live with the outside world and also treatment for mental health after all the bad stuff that’s just stuck going on repeat in the back of their heads. The fought for our freedom only to come out of the army into the prison of their mind. The devil will build a playground in their heads, they need help and in a westernised society I find it disturbing that we don’t do more to help. Just wish there was a clear cut answer and a President, prime minister etc should pass certain laws that help the VETs, they put them in the position they are in by sending them to fight some wars that we had no right in doing so. So many lives lost and what for, when they left Afghanistan it took 5 minutes for Isis to completely take over, did the western governments really think Isis had gone away? All the time the armies were there Isis were in the caves etc planning for the day they would be taking over. We left so many people over there to the mercy of them, translators etc, all of them will be hunted for life, I hope most of them make it out, they helped our soldiers and our governments just threw them away without a care. Sorry this has been long, I wish I could do a documentary on this and the opioid crisis, mental health and get others involved in helping toward content regarding what they believe can and should be done. But I’m nobody and this is the only platform I can speak how I feel. God bless all those who need help and for the children of the world who are silently suffering. It breaks my heart. I have been through the latter and sometimes writing helps me, please forgive me for the long rant.

Nothing like getting a beer ad on a video about intoxicated inmates in jail. Lol, that's a hell of a contrast. Like, here's what can get you on another video like this...
And don't get me wrong, I absolutely enjoy an occasional beer, it's just pretty funny that the advertising somehow ended up on a video highlighting exactly what can go wrong if you drink too many and don't have a solid plan (like, say, simply drinking at home, rather than in public, if you're gonna get absolutely wasted. And never, EVER driving)
That's on you, dawg. TheAlgo(tm) heard you drink 🤣

That last episode where they removed the correction officer to pacify that affective important inmate was wrong.. He should be made to follow rules like everybody else and dealt with when he doesn't.. Always have your officers back!!!!
Timothy is beyond having given up poor soul.
Omg these officers are better than me I cannot believe they can stay calm dealing with these people and I was one of the people resisting when I was using drugs I feel so bad.
I could never imagine having to live a life of drugs, this is destroying our world and our children, we need to be good parents and do our best no matter what it takes, these cops have so much patience, God bless them all
*Tim the regular drunk came by today* 😂
Props to guards, there work is really really tuf.
What Rabsatt said at the end is absolutely true. I have found that in life myself. Alcohol does not cause someone to act a particular way. It just removes the inhibitions that prevent the person from showing their true colors in day to day life. You truly find out what kind of person someone is when they are under the influence of alcohol.
“Hurry up, I can barely breathe” two seconds later dudes dreaming and demanding to inhale a cheeseburger 🍔
Its sad that US Veterans find themselves in this situation. Im not saying the same doesn't happen in Australia. Its just sad 😢
I'm american and I feel the same. Officers gotta try to think about what these soldiers have had done to them and what they had to do for us and others
I am a Peer Recovery Specialist and my goal is to help bridge the invisible gap between law enforcement and our veterans in a possible mental health, addiction, and/or a physical health emergency & their loved ones.
It can be both rewarding & challenging at times. 12 years later I couldn't ask for a better job.
Portland huh? That's 99% of the problem. All those people will do very little time or have charges dropped.

I think you have the wrong idea. They don’t handle anyones junk, a frisk is not fondling someone 🙄
Bruh. That man is a war vet most likely with ptsd and the high blood sugar. I can't help but feel for him. I wasn't in a war but I have ptsd from life experiences for 44 years and it's rough
247 is absolutely nothing. If he was over 400, maybe. He's just a prick.
God bless you for your suffering, may he fill your heart with the healing and strength that you yourself are seeking for others as well. ❤
It seems like everyone automatically assumes every vet has ptsd and that should give them a pass to do whatever they want. There are others that have ptsd but have to deal with it, people abused as children, women who have been raped. My point is that they still have to follow rules in society and even in jail.

It is sad that there is such a thing as 'one of our regulars' there. I must say, the police (on this programme at least, I don't know if it represents how things are generally) treat people so very well, with kindness. Here in England, working with police sometimes and also having been arrested myself a couple of times (never with charge, people!) they are not kind, show no interest and simply chuck you in a cell. Was married to one too, no better!
Tara S- police stations, officers, ERs, courts, and medics deal with repeat offenders/patients. They are referred to as "frequent flyers."
@@Fostermom4chis In USA? They call them so? Never in New Zealand.
@Mary Poppins yes I am in the USA, and yes, that is how they are referred to amongst insiders. In the jail, It usually refers to hookers, druggies, abusers, fighters, etc. It's a code used to let others know that a person has had frequent interaction with an agency and to pay attention to notes on those previous interactions. It lets hospital personnel know that a person is making frequent visits with bogus complaints to obtain meds or that the person may have a chronic issue like drug OD or ETOH intoxication/poisoning.
