- In Reno, NV, A man outfitted in just his underwear is taken into custody for battery of a police officer. In Salt Lake City, UT, a drunk man is brought in for urinating in front of a family restaurant, and in an attempt to expedite his release, he requests that the officers "git 'er done". In Las Vegas, NV, a jailed man is more concerned about the condition of his car rather than the people involved in the accident that were hospitalized.

I just want to thank all the officers involved in dealing with the worst of human behaviors. It takes a special kind of a man or a woman to put up with this day in and day out. You have my utmost respect!😊
Why they went to school protect and serve
As a CO myself, drunks are the worst, over almost any other intoxication. Even in my civilian life, I have low tolerance for drunks.
Correct, sir. Boozers are the most obnoxious there is. The heroin junkie fading out and the meth head’s yammering are annoying, but they don’t come close to drunks.

I find I people who are attention seeking or flamboyant for any reason such as arrogance, thinking that they're special or pretty, sexual identity or orientation, or exhibition, race, or "Do you know who I am" to be incredibly annoying and offensive. I would have no patience with that behavior.
Ditto. It’s narcissism, and there is nothing that grates on my nerves more.
Society used to recognize hard work and excellence as qualities that someone would get recognition for. Now, since doing anything worthwhile is much too difficult and time consuming, people act foolish and as anti-societal as possible in order to gain recognition. We need to stop feeding into it and simply ignore & ostracize obnoxious people that refuse to behave within societal norms. The norm being defined as what 95% of what normal people find socially acceptable.

You aren’t kidding. Drunkenness is the absolute worst. Alcohol has been a catastrophe for the human race. Only sugar in the last 50 years has been a competitor.
As a drunk...I take offense to that.
In some cases I can see why they don’t give the prisoners blankets, but I bet more of them would go to sleep quicker if they had one. It’s a basic comfort from childhood.
Unfortunately, if the subject isn't fairly calm, they run the risk of using them as weapons on others in the cells, or even on themselves. But yep, definitely need a blanket!
Lice would be a problem there.
Surely they could use disposable blankets kinda like how the hospital has disposable pillows and such? I guess that would get pretty expensive though depending.

What a job these prison guards have. Wouldn’t like their job. Some prisons/goals use window covers which seems to help quieten down the drunks as they dont have an audience.

Why enforcement should not worry about feelings they should indeed enforce the law
It's a bit different if you're the one in charge of keeping the peace with them after they're in booking & jail. It's a lot easier to build a cordial rapport with inmates, than to be mean or cocky, just bc you can. Respect goes both ways in detention & corrections. They're usually mad at the officer who arrested them, we have to try to keep things calm, safe & secure.

Why does every person who comes to your Jail, in Salt Lake City, have to drink Gatoraid?
Alcohol dehydrates which can throw off your vitals, as well as give you that pounding headache, so since they can't do IV they give Gatorade
Electrolyte recovery, notably the sodium in the case of Gatorade type drinks help restore hydration, which helps the system get rid of the alcohol and metabolites quicker.
Short version, "speed the process up"

They take all strings from pants, hoodies, etc. so they can't be used on themselves or others as a weapon. It all goes with the rest of their property to be returned when they're released.

My brothers LAPD, spent his 1st 2 yrs in city jail. Said it was an experience he’d never want to do again. Too many crazys 👨🏼✈️❤️
I wonder how well the janitors clean all of the surfaces down in that building. There’s numerous bacteria/viruses/fungi that can continue to live on a surface for anywhere from hours to weeks!

@@shsuususjssnjsus8239 Not everywhere! We had to stop using trustees due to two inmates' phones being stolen. Sad thing is, it wasn't them. It was during court transfers 🤦🏼♀️ when they had to go through booking to be transported.
The white haired big dude who "wasn't resisting" reminds me of my aunts ex husband and one of her Sons...attitude and all.
Also, I think the cops mad e the mistake with him...he didn't look like he stood up in a menacing way. He had a stupid look on his face and looked like he was just noticing something. Then the cop punches him in the chest to let go of the counter....that seemed a bit .ugh to me. Then the idiot laughed like a drunk fool. I dunno, seemed a bit over the top to me.

Being from Arizona - long enough to have been around for the days of Sheriff Joe -- makes me wonder what would have been filmed if this show did episodes from the 4th Street Jail. Kind of miss that tank of his cruising down the highway.

I believe the cops can be over the top with some if these folks … there’s no way that ALL the complaints they come in to jail with regarding the police can be BS … There is some truth to their complaints … and unfortunately I think the aggravate the situation by laughing at and making fun of some of these people which makes life for these decent jail guards more difficult than it would otherwise be … Of course there are some difficult folks right from the moment they are arrested but some id these cops do antagonize the situations too
