In the first piece, if the arresting officer already knew that "Hugo" was looking for a fight, why did they put him in a cell with other people? They really dropped the ball on this one! I hope the victim sues.

1) most drunks are looking for a fight but calm down when put in a cell, lay down and go to sleep. No one can predict the future. 2) Thanks to all the drunks and drug abusers and general law breakers they don’t have the luxury of giving everyone their own private cell. 3) Even the most calm, cool and collected person, once arrested, can flip and start beating up another person. Seen it on another episode of JAIL. 4) Apparently people want to sue for not getting extra food it’s dinner or the right color toothpaste.
They need to sue the guy that hit him not the police

When I was a DOC nurse, I saw some horrific fights in booking. I saw noses and ear bitten clean off. I saw one guy gouge out another inmates eyes, right in front of me.

I really like this show! Thank You for protecting and serving your community!!! LEO's do a job that I DO NOT have the temprament for. The vast majority of LEO's are great police officers; they are the rule. Unfortunately the main stream media only focuses on those instances with the ones that aren't and those kinds of officers are the exceptions. In my not so humble opinion. It's amazing how lazy our minds have become with using cell phones. It seems like lifetime ago that my generation had our "contacts" phone numbers memorized and had phone books, land lines and phone booths.

The Sgt in Salt Lake City looks like a big overweight guy at first but when they give you a full length view of him he's got narrow hips and long legs. Don't think it would ever be a good idea to get in a tussle with him.
His voice is really really irritating……

I’ve been watch jail for a long time now. Officer Ford is exemplary in his job. I’ve never seen him in all these episodes lose his cool. Besides he’s so damn big I’d never cross him. He’d wreak me. Lol.

I looked up as it’s the first time I’ve heard a Brit on the show. Nice to hear a local girl living life and experiencing the fine jail system in California.. it’s certainly more interesting than getting locked up here in the UK. I’m surprised they don’t use some colour therapy to calm people down. The public buses here are purple green and a blue turquoise. Nice relaxing colours would be better than that clinical white.

"they leave with something major" that's the fault of putting drunk men together in a cell. they should have been in separate cells , it's common sense. i had a deranged guy attack me in a jail cell almost 50 years ago when i was young , he was small and i was able to hold him at arms length until i could call the guard to come.

The Australian dialect comes from the many English Convicts from the city of London and surrounding suburbs that were offered long term residency when it was a Penal Colony and the troops were were deployed to guard them.
Not that i disagree with that, but that lady was just English, I think she was taking the piss when she said Australian, unless she moved there before America, because her accent was 100 per cent English

I refused to get out the chair so I could sue them. They pulled me out and fell and pretended to have a concussion so they sent to the ER. It was mess with them. They are afraid of the lawsuit.
