She was not coached by Haney for most of her life. The commentator is wrong. She moved there at the start of high school which is old for a gymnast. It was actually Laurie who was there for most of her life but most of the "gymternet" has never been sympathetic to Laurie. Hmmm.
Why is abusive coaching allowed? Because they’re athletes? They’re minors. If it’s so notorious that the general public/viewing audience knows about it and commentators point it out, more should be done about than telling them to switch gyms.
McCusker and laurie just became lazy and couldn't handle the pressure so blamed it on their coach. Despite their so called rejuvenation we all saw the results!! 🤣🤣🤣
