Thank you viny&kicks for watching I always love to hear your input thank you for watching this year I want focus on more of my collection in my videos.
Wow. OK Computer is a pretty amazing Hat Trick! Nicely done! Totally agree on the Isleys "Summer Breeze". And frankly almost ALL of their cover work. "It's Too Late", "Ohio", "Love The One You're With"... just owning songs all over the place. Great vid! You really brought the genre variety!
Thanks man Radiohead has been definitely a favorite of mine they reinvented their selves so many times . The Isleys were so down to earth when I met them it will be my birthday I will never forget thanks for watching.
@@vinylrecordplayer yes it was crazy everyone was outside with records and they said they were only signing cds but they were nice enough to sign the picture they had on hand in the store and handed it to everyone in line .
Got all the Dead Can Dance, very cool you got all their albums. I will slowly get athe Cure back in my collection but focus will be the 80s. The Rage album will so influential and mind blowing. Great tag Lovell
Steve man thanks brother for stopping by yes Dead Can Dance definitely changed my listening experience when I first heard “Anywhere Out of the World" I was blown away and hooked I said I have to get every album and see them live . Yes the 80s cure is very important man . I really appreciate your comments brother have a wonderful week Steve.
Always enjoy watching your videos because of the wide variety of music that you listen to. That Verve album is killer, I need to get that on vinyl at some point. Thanks!
Glen thanks I definitely have to give credit to my Grandma and mother they played so many different artist as I was growing up and it stuck my grandmother was the blues and my mom was r&b , rock and jazz . Definitely grab that Verve album the musicianship is so good Nick McCabe soundscapes on guitar is so hypnotic.
Peace Lovell... good to see a post from you... another clinic. The wall is looking solid too... eyeing that joe henderson... I've been getting into his catalogue more recently. Crazy The Cure collection. Interesting re: the Aaliyah- mine sounds pretty good. Stay solid.
Pat thanks for watching and the VCLT man I’m still searching for a cleaner Aaliyah pressing . Joe Henderson catalogue is a must so many different stages .🥂
Great tag Lovell. The Cure collection is impressive. I might still have the cassette single of high. I need to check. The Rage was one of the first LPs I ever bought when it dropped. Had only had cassettes and CDs prior. It’s still in the collection. Unfortunately all the other OG 90’s LPs I sold years ago. Big regret. Full run of Pearl Jam, Green River OGs etc. Awesome you got to meet Corgan. Saw them on the Adore tour. R.I.P. Pharoah. Peace.
Dave thanks brother I did to sold some 90’s records I regrets Superunknown by Soundgarden and Vitalogy by Pearl Jam . I really appreciate you watching my video it was fun to pull from other areas of my collection man I’ve been really enjoying your flip videos you built a stunning collection and variety I hope you get those gems back into your collection in the future.
Nice picks, Lovell! I dig that you’re not a pigeon hole collector. Multiple genre is the way to be! We have a lot in common. Radiohead is my favorite 90s band by far and ok computer my favorite album of theirs! Nice triple record cd cassette! I can’t fulfill that order 😂. Great video! Thanks for sharing those great titles! Be well! VCS
Thank you Steve I love my mom and grandmother for exposing me to so many different types of music they saw a full range of artist and played many different artists around the house it definitely rubbed off on me . That was my dream to have different genres to pull from my library to spin Steve I appreciate you for commenting take care.
Some nice choices there, Lovell. It's never too late for a vinyl tag! I must have a listen to that Tear for Fears album- love the sleeve artwork. I chose them for my surprising purchase.
Lovell showing all gold. First off, great call on the Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence soundtrack. Heading to the shelves to pull it for a spin right now. Almost went with The Cure myself for the full discography - great to see your collection. That live DCD - beautiful. Right on. Glad you jumped on board for this one. - Bret
Bret I appreciate that yes watch a lot a Vinyl Tags no one pulled that one man that would be a great one for you to spin . The Dead Can Dance I’m still stoked to finally have it on vinyl . Bret this was real fun to pull some albums off the shelf to show them I spun them. Have a wonderful week Bret.
Dude, you have such an awesome range of recordings. Love your soundtrack selection too... I just found that album. Got kind of jealous with the Cure completion. Thanks for sharing.
Alexander thanks for watching while growing up I dug so many different groups the radio stations used to play deep cuts back then now it just the hits I ask myself what happened . The Cure was so hard to find in excellent condition I found their records in the oddest shops back then.
Glad you gotta jump on board. Agreed in full on your Rage breakdown. The Cure LPs with the obi are beauties. Smashing Pumpkins is a great choice for a run of three. Man, oh man, was I crushing on Aaliyah back in the day. Way cool seeing the Sugar Minott. I only have one of his albums. Not in the bins too often, for sure. Enjoyed this one. Be easy, Brother. ✌🏼
Great stuff LA! I still don't know why I haven't picked up that Tears For Fears??? What's wrong with me? Public Enemy meets The Clash. What a perfect way to describe that RATM!! The Verve is another great. Man, oh man! Those Cure OGs are just B.E.A UTIFUL!!!! lol Awesome my friend!! I don't think I've ever heard you tell the story about meeting Billy C at Tower. That must have been mind blowing.
Brandon thanks man get that Tears for Fears it continues we’re Seed of Love left off killer songwriting and that spirit is there in full swing . Man Billy Corgan knows he of music is vast he share all the artist he was influential by and recommended some albums to me . I appreciate you commenting brother can’t wait for that room tour man 🥂.
Hi Lovell. Man you showed a fantastic group of music. Ok Computer in all format. How is that boxed anniversary set? I have a beautiful sounding ok Computer. Great tag my friend ☺️. Greg
Greg thank you I really appreciate that I really loved your tribute to Jeff Beck you collection is marvelous that anniversary of Ok sounds beautiful and packed with the extra which it’s worth it.
Thanks my Chi-Town brother for watching I’m definitely going to watch your Vinyl Tag it was fun pulling from the collection the questions always have me thinking watch to show Rob Walker picked some awesome questions to present take care Hip Hops.
You made me realise how lacking The Cure are in my collection! The best band I’ve seen live, Robert Smith will never lose it! Love me some Bill, I have an original Sunday mono as well as the AP box, I don’t think much of the sound of the original Riversides but the AP smokes! Still, a glass of bourbon with the original playing has its own feel to it!
Damon thanks for watching those AP 45 are amazing I want that Bill Evans box but to pricey all I have is Sunday and Waltz for Debby on AP 45and OG pressings the 2 I have smokes the originals but the original sounds different which I dig also. I agree with Bourbon it changes the game . The Cure is one you have to collect seeing them live was definitely a treat . Damon I appreciate you brother have a wonderful week.
@@MrLovell1971 I was fortunate that I backordered it before the price hike! My local has an original head on the door in at the minute so I’ll likely pick that up! I’ll be uploading again soon with my finds of 2023 so you’ll see me soon! Have a good one mate!
I know someone that saw Tears For Fears open for Hall and Oates and he thought Tears For Fears were better. The first three Cure albums are great. Damn you got them all. It is disappointing that they are releasing their albums on picture discs. The Isley Brothers' Funk was so hot.
Thanks Vinyl Richie for stopping by yes Tears for Fears clearly stole the show they were definitely getting ready to record there new album. Yes I’m freaking tired of those picture discs they need more regular vinyl releases. Yes those Isley brothers is still out touring which is very cool . Take care Richie have a great week .
Lovell my friend. What an amazing video. That RATM and OK computer OGs.....OMG. That album by Tear For Fears is an amazing comeback, I discovered that one late in the year to be honest. Live at the Village Vanguard is one that I still need to get on vinyl. Man, that collection by The Cure, love it, I still need to find. Which version of siamese dream is the one you have?. I found a UK original on black vinyl years ago and I also remember seeing the orange US variation like 10 years ago at Ameba but I let it go. Good to see you man. Cheers from Colombia! JD
Thanks JD for stopping by man the cure collecting took many years I was so glad to have found many pieces before the vinyl resurgence now it hard but still possible I still have some luck on records while digging. My Smashing pumpkins Siamese Dream is the Peach color vinyl I picked up around ‘98 the price definitely skyrocketed it cool you have an OG Brother I appreciate it Jean take care.
