Love the Bonzos - very cool. Original Pixies at that price, just insane. Lovely six-eye of Miles there. Loved seeing all of those Riverside and Prestige pickups!
Glad you enjoyed it Kris man those Pixies still sound excellent 30 years later. I was so stoked to have found those Prestige’s the condition was beautiful they don’t press them like that anymore thank for commenting Kris I really appreciate you brother take care .
Thank you Bret those Killing Jokes was a huge addition along with the Pixies and Siouxsie and the Banshees those vintage pressing sounds so good have a great weekend Bret.
Thibs2442 man I was on the look out for years for that Benny Golson when it appeared withe the condition was good i jumped on it . Thanks for stopping by I really dig your feedback.
Dude! Congrats on these rad and varied pickups. You got some awesome jazz. I am gonna check out Killing Joke--you bring a lot of excitement behind all your finds. Love it.
Alexander thank you I really appreciate your feedback love you pickups also and your love for jazz . Those Killing Joke are definitely worth checking out awesome band I got in to them really late . Those rare Prestige’s and Riverside was a killer addition I still can’t believe they are in my collection have a wonderful weekend Alexander.
I still need those two Sonnys and that Grant Green -Grantstand, i love that lineup. That Soul trombone is essential, and what a deal you got on that John Wright!
@@MrLovell1971 I hope so. Yeah, that's a clean 70 turquoise Street of dreams I got. What's strange about my copy is that it has a unique coating on the vinyl that I've never seen before.
Hey bro! Thanks for the jazz lesson today. Greatly appreciated. Also keeps me in caffeine check lol. So I looked up the track from The Mars Volta that totally vexes me. It's the 13-minute track, the first side of Frances the Mute. You were right. And I do like a lot of their other tracks, but that one is something. That group has had a lot of wild personal happenings.
First, I was thrilled to see Lovell had finally posted a new video. Then I saw all the great finds he had and realized that I hated him. Good video. Welcome back.
Thanks Joe man life has been so crazy I’ve been lucky on finding original press and I also went down the rabbit hole of some of the audiophile releases I didn’t show the video would of been an hour . Love hearing from you have an awesome week.
The stereo is a killer definitely if you run across the mono of Bookends definitely grab it the soundstage is on another level definitely one to seek out . Thanks for watching.
My friend. Thank you for the Mirror Music shout-out. Means everything. So glad you've been enjoying the tunes! Beautiful John Wright - wow. So clean. That Grant Green is superb, as well. Surprised people don't really talk about that title too much. "Slow Dance" off of Traneing In is an excellent tune. I used the opening Paul Chambers bass intro as a sample once ;) The Dorham! So much heat on this video. Geto Boys, Bill Evans, Monk, Rollins, the MoFi Beck!... Big time scores. Finishing off the E. And don't think I didn't see those two Lanois-produced titles up on your shelf - that Classic BG cut of So and the Emmylou. Good music all around. Nice to see you!
Your so welcome Michael I really appreciate your artistry you a beautiful talent my friend . Slow Dance is so underrated Trane blowing session is always a treat. Man I was so fortunate to add some albums I really wanted for years have a great week Michael and thanks for stopping by.
Dave thanks brother man so stoked on the condition I couldn’t imagine them on my shelves they don’t press them like that anymore the warmth is amazing.
Wow, I'm buried under those awesome pick ups! I got Elemental as well, and it is indeed a very well engineered album. Interesting choice for that 50th Anniversary of BOTR cover. Looks so much like the cover of "The Best of Three Dog Night"! LOL
Yes redcomusic that Elemental was mastered perfectly . I agree that BOTR does look like three dog night . I appreciate you watching and commenting have a great week .
Big score on that John Wright find! That is a super rare Prestige grail for sure. Also cool that is is a Chicago artist rather than East Coast. My friend found that and had it on Discogs for $200.
Thank you Don when that John Wright arrived I thought it was going to be trashed I was very surprised how clean it was. I appreciate you complimenting brother take care .
Oh man that Candido! That has the full length version of Jingo made famous by Santana and Olatunji. Slammin'! That's on the NuYorican Soul 2 comp on Soul Jazz. Hot to death!
Good to see you back on YT 👍 And with a lot of great finds - congrats. I didn't know there was a Mono version of Bookends (my favorite S&G album) - How does the sound compare to stereo we all have? Stay safe - Claus
Thanks Claus I’m so glad to be back again . That S&G mono sounds so good I compared it to my stereo copy it blow it away it like an extended wall of sound to their voices. Thank you Claus for commenting and watching have a great week .
Hi Lovell. It's been a fruitful 6 months indeed. Your excitement is palpable 😊. I wasn't familiar with the Pixies until I picked up a CD of Dolittle. I promptly pu the last 2 live sets at RSD. No regrets. Thanks for sharing some great OG albums. Greg

It's been a while since you've done a video of course but when you do, it is always a heavy pile. Hard to pick just one thing to comment on even. Yeah I would love to own the Roy Clark, original preferably but you don't see that Scorpio either. Big time heat Sea Changes has long been one for me to locate but again, never see it. Same with Midnight Vultures!
Thanks Dom so glad to be back finally after the home repairs I still had some more hip hop album I didn’t show it would of been an hour long and many people don’t like hip hop . Thanks again for the Cluster and Bonzo band I want that Midnight Vultures I only saw it once in a shop for $300 .
First, I hope everything is settled with your place. You definitely brought the heat in this video! Bummed we couldn’t connect last time I was up there, but I should be back in August. 😀 I think Acoustc Sounds is doing STP’s “Purple” in August, not “Tiny Music” (unless you know something I don’t; but after how well “Core” turned out, I hope they do the full discography like that). And Candido!?!? My guy! 👏🏻👏🏻
Chance thanks my dude I can’t wait for Purple I did get core. Hope we meet up in the future I did your taste in music have a great week Chance and thanks for stopping by.
Lovell, nice, nice, very nice.I need to dig into Art Garfunkel's solo work, I really love Paul Simon's solo albums, ''Graceland'' might be his best. My favorite Tears For Fears is '' The Seeds Of Love'' featuring the vocals of Oleta Adams. Two great Rollins masterpieces, I wish he spent more time with Monk. I never knew that Elvin Jones recorded for the Riverside label. Public Image Ltd. is an amazing find , showcasing an amazing band. Drink some wine and enjoy your new treasures!
Thanks Michael Valentine it been a long time I love Graceland by Paul Simon I was so glad to have seen him on tour . The seeds of love is a classic . Those Rollins have him playing with outstanding fire in in veins have a wonderful week Michael.
Incredible stuff Lovell! I’d give anything to come across first pressings of the Pixies records. I have never seen first pressings of their records in any stores here. They just don’t pop up. Some incredible scores for the prices. That Cosmic Slop looked so clean! Joe Henderson Akio. Nice! Too much to comment on. 😂 You’ve been bizzee my friend! Good to see you, man. ✌🏻
Thanks Jon very busy I need to hide my wallet I want to upgrade my photo stage the record buying definitely ruined that notion. Thanks so much for watching Jon have a wonderful week .
Hey buddy it's so good to see your face hear your voice some nice records from Brandon also tons of great stuff I need to look into a few of those titles.

The 2eye stereo pressing of Bookends might be the best sounding album in my collection, its shocks me everytime i listen to it.
The stereo is a killer definitely if you run across the mono of Bookends definitely grab it the soundstage is on another level definitely one to seek out . Thanks for watching.
