I bought an E34 in Portland Oregon, I’m from California. I couldn’t resist and pulled some strings together to get it. Almost didn’t make it back, if I knew what I know now I wouldn’t have bought it. The trip was amazing tho so no regerts lol

Honestly, just try to get your money back if you're really not going to bother with it. Would probably be a lot easier to sell after a headgasket job and muffler fix, but it is what it is, you know what you have better than anyone anyway
Fellow owner of an E39 from 2002 520 stock. I bought mine from a grandpa for 1800 euros with brand new tyres. Now i am 22 and i can confirm i have wasted at least 7000 euros in the repairs. Everything expect taking apart the entire engine. Wouldnt reccomend anyone buying a bwm cars are shit but they have a special place in my heart and i am willing to do anything to keep my 520 running no matter what since its the first car i bought. What i like about it its that i cant feel speed. I drive with 200khm and i dont feel like i am running. Grandpa that had it bought it brand new back then but as he got older he kinda stop carrying about it and it showed when i got it and fixed a lot of issues. Looking forward in june of next year to put brand new shock absorders do an oil change and change all the filters. Plus i have to buy new sparkplugs. Overall great car but massive reliability issues.

I was iffy getting my first car a e34 its been my dream since I was 6. bit broke af currently in college and shit but honestly its gonna be ay- oh kay! you know why? cuz dreams and aspirations only happen if you make it happen. You only live once instead of playing the cards you dealt be a renegade.

This content is the shit, e34 is and will be my favorite car. I own 2 of them now, one is 90 and other is 94, both of them saloons. Much love e34🙂🙂 also m50 is the beast in, because I love the sound of bmw straight 6s😍. Also bought shitbox, but fell in love with it as soon as I saw it, so it’s kinda hard not to buy it😂

I was ready to wreck it, but then I started working around, finding parts(doors etc.) and now Iam almost finished. It's the best feeling :)

I flew to Idaho from Buffalo NY, two times to pickup a golden 535i 1989. First trip to test drive and sign bill of sale, second trip to bring my plates and registration. Off went a month long road trip to bring the baby home.

Helps release heat from the coolant allowing cooler temp for the motor

if you turn on heat all the way up and blower all the way up the heater core acts a little bit like a 2nd radiator.
