- It's finally time to head home from California! Before we leave I have to change the oil, inspect the car, and change out a prematurely worn upper control arm. Then we head through Vegas, Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, and Iowa until we make it home!
I’m glad you made it home! It will be an experience you never forget. I was born and raise in Chicago but now live in Arizona. Thanks for sharing your road-trip!
Definitely unforgettable experience!
“It’s feels better enough” is a true car guy statement!

Writing to you from down under..
Lucky owner of a 1989 535i factory manual.
These cars love the open roads! That’s what they’re made for.
Perhaps not as much in very hot climates..looking forward to the conclusion video.
Thank you man!!!
Same NZ
Sensational
Thanks for it all. #peace
What a trip! The hard work was definitely worth it. The truck incident was unfortunately but thank god nothing happened to you and your car. That shows how robust these cars are built. Good luck for your upcoming projects.
Thank you man!!! I got lucky for sure
Great success!
Very nice!!!!
It was a nice trip man, we should do it again
Hey man, great video as always. Keep it up :)
Thank you Igor!!!
In Ukraine we rebuilt this "arms " , and spherical bearings become collapsible, and the bushings we used - polyurethane, as result - suspension works much better and more importantly much longer 😉
Congrats on the trip.. an experience to remember.. I've got spare fogs if needed. Lmk
Ive managed to get the fog back together! Thank you though!
Sweet now come back
Okay im getting ready for another roadtrip now!!!
I absolutely hate how some truckers drive but on top of some bad tires I’d understand why you’d be pissed about catching a tire
A double burn from that A hole
Hey josh I was watching one of your s52 swap prep videos. And on one of them can’t remember which one but you did that obd1 coolant hose adaptor from achillies. I’m planning on doing that for my m52 swap. If you don’t mind explaining how you routed the line. Thanks
I used the stock obd 1 soft line but just shortened it a little bit, and the line is just routed under the manifold like normal.
