As an old BMW owner ... Just lost my shit totally with the blinkers
Same
The older 2002s had the turn signal on the right side as it should be. You’re going to take your right hand off the wheel to shift anyway.
3:10 haha clasic BMW joke the indicators
+E36 M3 haha 😉.
I thought that I'm so stupid to understand and at third time watching backward and forward i said to myself fuck maybe comments hahaha
If you ever feel worthless, remember there are people at BMW mounting the blinkers.
😂
Treats On The Streets hey man, first time i watched one of ur vids and im curious, what bmw is that and what bmw would u recommend if i have only 3000 bucks to spend on it?
Btw the indicator joke had me dying XD
The turn signals are my favorite feature that apparently only few cars have
ha...signals LOL. Cool video man! I think that last one is my favorite as well
+Bimmer Dude definitely a cool feature. Thanks for watching again man!
Is this one just on the m3 or all models?
last one? You mean that ability make a donuts? :D
Nice throlling bro ! Love it !
I hate when those bimmer(or other cars) drive like moron and don't use blinkers .
I really thought he was gonna mention that if you push in on it (right), it cycles through the onboard computer functions.
Okay, the digital tach part is pretty bad ass. Will be trying in my m3 tonight. 👌
+25madisonchris haha I thought so too! Who would have known? If you look into it more there's a lot of other cool stuff you can access in there.
Treats On The Streets What's the Google search I'd have to make to find out all the features?
Can u pls tell ms the rsst of the futeres or a link to ths google page? Tnx and yeah that blinker is a new feature.
I watched this video till the end. I enjoyed it the problem is that I dont have a BMW in fact I dont have a car loll
Ben Nasro this is relatable lol
I'm 14 so I cant even drive lol
Audi is far superior.
@@austinrose3018 Casual audi driver comment, great job on compromising your brand even more
@@austinrose3018 I've gone from Audi to bmw and I can tell you that is incorrect.
Lol, the turn signal lever was my favorite, I sometime feel like I'm the only one that knows cars come with those. 🤣🤣🤣
I THINK I always use blinkers out of habit. I have driven since 15 1/2 yrs old (1980s) However not sure about blinkers as I said, Habit. I would need to pay attn to know for sure. This dam lockdown has me going on more drives at night. NO OR LESS people and cops on roads I can push it more and have fun. At that point, blinkers, stop signs/lights, speed limits are just suggestions if cars in front or behind me. IF your not a cop in front of me.... see ya
The key trick works for automatic convertibles as well. I discovered this accidentally with my top down on my 1999 E36 328i
3:10 lololol 😂 But at 3:31 when it supposed to be pressed up for the right flash I think that you pressed a button called "alarm button" or something called like this, am I right? 😂😂😂 Joke to joke!!! lmao 🤘😂🤘
+John Georgakopoulos haha you caught it, I pushed the emergency flashers button.
There's this really cool thing all cars come with. It's called an owner's manual. All this and MUCH MORE is right in there. For instance, if your car came with a key with a dead battery? The car charges the key's battery when you drive with it in the ignition.
The blinker had me dying😂😂😂
Haha, the Blinker did it for me 😂😂😂
On the digital ac control you can hit "auto" and "rear defrost" at exactly the same time (it's a bit tricky!) you'll get twelve different read outs in the display. Cycle them with fan speed button. It worked on one of my two '96 cars.
wait whatt
buying an e36 m3 in techno violet in about a week or so.. couldn’t be more exited and i think i’m making the right choice for a car!! your videos def help me out a lot!
Awesome! That's a cool color. Glad I could help with your decision.
Haven’t heard any of these type of videos mention hands free locking. On some BMW’s when you get out, and the key fob is not inside the car, after closing the door you can bump the handle with your hip to lock the doors
Pretty cool!
I have to bump my door on my 93 coupe to open it 😂 only driver’s side though
Blinky things? I thought mine were just stickers! How about that?!
Only if your car had the winter package it would have the heated nozzles and door lock. Though he didn't mention the BC on the signal lever, some people don't know if you push it in (from the side) it will give you different displays; time, outside temp, estimated miles left on fuel, avg mph, and avg mpg. While displaying MPG you can push the S/R button to display current MPG.
The Window / Sunroof thing also works on a Convertible roof :)
blinker troll + 10 points
First time I hear about that "indicator" lever thing. Neat trick! Doesn't seem all that useful though 😂😂
Joël Bourquard , can’t see the point of it!
Broooo. I worked with you at Wayfair! Glad youre doing good man. 1m views!!! Congrats. Happy for you!
Also the turn signal stick has a hidden feature. I don't remember exactly how but as I remember one has to "force it" left or right or if you prefer to say up or down to put the signal light permanently on to the specific side. (usually handy when parking on the side of the road). and as I know this is available on many cars if not most of cars.
Hahah the signal joke. 😂😂😂
I've driven an E36 M3 for 8 years and didn't know about the windows-lock trick or the digital tacho- awesome!
+yurisuika they're pretty cool features!
nice looking e36, congrats.. I got rid of mine cause it was so rusty
First time I watched a car video and actually owning the right car ✌🏻
#1 does that on e30 chassis as well
I had a 328i E36 coupe with midnight blue metallic paint and white leather interior back in the day. I bought it for £1000 in need of some tlc. The same car now would be 3k upwards. They are going up and up in value over the years.
If fuel prices calm back down I may get another before they become too rare...
3:28 i didnt know bmw's had them though i have seen every other car using them strange, huh?!?
The window one is so sick! didn't know that!
Didnt know about the heated doorlocks! Just yesterday i had a flat battery and central locking obviosly didnt work, could have used that feature :D
+Taltsi pretty cool huh? Not even something you find in today's brand new cars!
Yes but would the heating element actually have the power to run given the flat battery?
Yeah, but for some reason when i recharged the battery the central locking didnt work untill i started the car, dont know why and dont care, would have been easier just to open the doors with the key instead of using a ton of antifreeze stuff on the locks to get in the driver seat
That exactly happened to me last week, too. Now I know what to do next time my doorlock is frozen.
@Taltsi what bmw do you drive? I drive an E34
E36 323Ti
Most BMWs, specially new ones, use up a lot of blinker fluids. Make sure to top it off every time you drive. Sometimes I run out of blinker fluids in the middle of the drive specially when cutting off left lane hoggers!
That was so cool thanks man!!! Now im excited to go to my car and start messing around with my windows and cluster
The blinker!! I died laughing 😂
Wow, didn't know about the blinker things, I will probably never use that feature, but it's nice to know.
😂😂😂
Funny video. Lol
I didn't know some of the features. Thanks for sharing
+Mazda Rx7 FD 1993 glad you liked it!
and you can manually open gas fill from the trunk, by pulling a lever.
As usual bro, nice content. :)
+EJ Joson as usual, thanks for watching man! I appreciate all your support!
Oh damn I didn't know what that stick thing left side of steering wheel. The fuel door has been a part of the central locking system going back into the early 80s.
Thumbs up for the blinkers! Ha!!
GOD. THE BLINKERS. I DIED.
Indicator joke, what a classic!
Spray WD 40 in the key locks, and ignition. Do this when it’s warm out and wiper the excess off. This will prevent your locks from freezing and it’ll clean it all out. I’ve done this for over 10 years it won’t screw up anything. Also if your keys are very worn order a new key. The worn key will just wear out your locks. Also on old cars like these or any car. Order yourself a nice Coverkraft sun windshield cover. This will protect your dash and keep your car a lot cooler inside. The oem Bmw one is made by Coverkraft as well.
Michael Broski or, spray in graphite dust.
The blinker feature, hahaha
E38s do both way on window roll up and down love that feature
LMAO WHEN I GOT THE BLINKER JOKE 🤣🤣🤣😭
there is another one: if you hold the indicators up until the end when you will turn off you the engine the right front light will be turning on, the same if you will hold down until the end the left front light will turn on after engine is off
Is the signalization handle or whatever it is behind the wheel also in other cars or bmw only?
Ha ha I thought he was serious at first with the blinker 😅
That moment when you don't have electrical windows
If E39/E46 front position bulbs go out, front indicator will stay on as a position lamp.
Lot of guys just take out bulb from position lamps, because they think it looks cool.
I don't know if it works on E36
Hmm didn't know about that
damn that car is cleen!
Blinkers dude! Got everyone triggered :D
+NetworX mk1 lol 😂
As a e36 owner I am very concern because a lot of these features don’t work on mine :/
The gas lock feature would be great to have working
digital speedometer and tachometer is rly good feature
3:06 What the actual heck is that? I never knew my BMW could do that! That has to be the most insane feature I have ever seen, on any car.
On a side note, the digital speedometer and tachometer are pretty cool. Do you think those work in the E46?
Edit: I tried it on my E46 325xi. Codes were different, but it did work, you can get the digital tach on it too!
In the US the E39 will roll the windows down with the key fob but not up. The key must be inserted into the door lock for rolling them back up. I guess this was a "safety" feature. However I'm told you can have this feature programmed back into your car's computer for only $200... LOL
SE7EN1Studios I guess that if you have a plug to connect your laptop in the ODB, and have the necessary software, you can program it yourself to make it work, it's probably a thing that you need to change from "nicht_aktiv" to "aktiv" or vice versa. Haven't tried it tho
Tf is a turn signal🤷🏻♂️
I was so glad to see the auto closing windows i went out to my Z3, unfortunately it's not there.
the window thing just blew my mind
the bit about blinkers lmao
My e39 540i let all the windows down when I held the unlock button. Not sure if they could be rolled up though.
Indicators???? First thing i do today look of my e46 has that too never heard of that before! Is that a extra that you can order with the car?
Sick! He mentioned heated door locks!! Thanks for sharing that in a video lol most people had no idea.
+Anatoliy Barzul haha you bet! Pretty crazy stuff! Thanks for watching man!
lol you got me on the turn signals
I could only get the digital speedometer on my 97 318i to go in kph which is disappointing but makes sense and it's still freaking cool.
Every car on the planet has indicators....that made me so angryyyy
It’s a joke btw 😂
Last one was awesome, thanks
After reading other comments I guess I fell for it.. good one.. so maybe I can redeem myself by truly adding to your little known list about the same gadget.. did you know that when you pull to the curb (left or right) and turn your car off if you put the turn signal lever in its left or right position it'll light up the lights on that side of the car but they won't blink. They are for the safety of a woman in heels or maybe your grandmother getting out of the car at night and be able to see the curb and not trip or twist an ankle. All lights on the side you select will light up and burn steady (ie. Front and rear parking, side marker and door bottom or rail.)
I'll have to try that!
I wondered what that thing on the left of the wheel was for.
Not sure I'll use it, but it seems neat.
yeah I think it is just one of those extra features no one really uses. Wouldn't be surprised if BMW leaves them out of the new models.
3:10 never gets old xD
That blinker joke lol
I have an E46 and DO NOT have key holes in my doors, but can open up the widows before i get in, like you said...
Is it a feature I'm missing out for not having keyholes?
Good video... thank you.
+Dalia Ordaz if you have a key fob you can use the lock and unlock buttons like I describe to open and close them.
Treats On The Streets Thank you for your response, but I dont have a Fob, I have the same key you have.
+Dalia Ordaz if you don't have a hole for the key and don't have a fob then how do you lock and unlock your car lol
1:48 I love this feature on the E34 when i have the drivers side window down I always do this. Its just soo cool to me and so convenient. 😁✨🙌
Alternatively you just hold the key in the lock in the locking position and it will close all the windows and sunroof and even the electric rear quarter windows as well if your E36 has those as part of the comfort package....
Do you like the e36? I'm considering getting it as my first car. Does it have many problems?
Check out my channel and it's lower videos. I've done all kinds on reliability, if I like it or not, cost of ownership, do's and don'ts, all kinds of things. I think you'll find the answers to all your questions.
My e36 will works perfectly for a month then something random happens. Yesterday my brake light bulb fell in the light casing. That was a pain in the but. A couple weeks before my check engine came on cuz gas caps. Before that my transistor thing for the fans to work went out. They are definitely a project, need constant work (which is part of the fun) normally just smaller stuff nothing that prevents it from getting u from a to b. In that aspect they are pretty reliable but to keep it at 100% working is constant maintenance 126k on my 323is e36
The last two ones fucking blew my mind. Thanks for the video . Imma have more fun with my baby now 😂😂😂😍😍😍
I love the hidden features...thx
Question: not sure if you are familiar with E36 323i convertible, is it possible you might go over trouble shooting convertible issues. Specifically when putting top down it disconnects from windshield but then stops and getting rapid clicking noise. I would appreciate it...thx again
Todd Hartmayer I myself only have e39's, but that doesn't stop me from trying to help
What you have really sounds like a gear that is stripped. The motor tries to turn the gear, but as it is missing teeth, the motor gear sort off catches hold of it and then looses grip, which makes a clicking noise. Does the sound stop after a while or do you need to stop it manually?
Thats so cool. Thanks. Now I know how to alert other drivers which way I plan to go. Amazing news!!! :)
hahahaha, thumbs up for the blinker joke
So the BC stick does something else too? COOOOOOL! LOL
Love your car... almost just like mine :) I have the factory rear spoiler but otherwise same-same
Thank for the info I really liked the first one it is really helpful u just earned a subscriber
Welcome to the channel!
Treats On The Streets I have a question whenever I pity wireless cassete adapter it keeps changing tracks by itself I don't know what to do
Thanks for mentioning the thing about the turn signals
Haha you're welcome
Good luck with those blinking lights, guys, stay safe
Signals that’s cool you let everyone know 😂😂😂
Every BMW we've had has this feature where you can shut all windows by just holding down the lock button on the key. Also the heated winscreen washer fluid nozzles don't help jackshit in real winter, because the washer fluid will freeze inside anyway when it's actually cold. However, there's a nice thing with the heated seats where if you have 3 stages of heating for the seat, when you turn it on it goes to the hottest setting automatically. When you want to turn it off, you can just hold down the button to turn the seatheating completely off without having to tap it a few times.
It's a nice feature to have!
The best feature however even in the new G30 5-series is the fact that you can still hold the DSC-button to turn the DSC off completely and have fun during the winter, even in a 520d xDrive ;)
Yes! It's so stupid when manufacturers don't let you turn it off all the way
umm.. here in Canada we have winter washer fluid that does not freeze until -35 c.
Water on the outside can still freeze over the nozzles and block flow. Heated spray nozzles prevents that.
One thing I had no idea about was that the BMW key's button-battery is charged by being in the ignition.
If you don't drive every day and that battery dies down, you won't be able to use the key's buttons to open your locks, etc. You'll have to stick your key in the door. Mine is usually pretty dead because I don't drive regularly enough.
Update: Just learned that a smartwatch charger will charge car keys, I just ordered one. They're $10 & give full charge in 30 min. :D
That first one is to get those window regulators wearing out nice and fast, as they do. Lol
Don't forget to check to make sure you have enough blinker fluid in your BMW and refill accordingly.
Hello, I clicked on this video because I wanted to know what hidden tricks can be in that car :-D Interesting. I like that older BMW in white colour but my dream is BMW M3 Lime Rock.
+JAWA 250 RIDER glad you found it interesting! Lime rock is a cool color
I found it in Android mobile game Real Racing 3 and immediately liked that colour, follow in Instagram: @BMWmGENS @LimeRockM3 or @Pumpk.1n
I dont have a car but driving my mothers car @Fabia300 Do you know Škoda?
I don't know where did u get those heated locks from
I have ever wondored for what the stick on the left side of the steering wheel is
You got a like on this vid specifically because of the blinkers.
Some E39's also got the heated locks functions. It is really handy!
You should take out those parking lights on ur DEPO UHP will leave a more pure white glow
+Matt Zorz good idea. I've been looking at those little bulbs by the halos and want to get rid of them.
I see, not missing out on car memes, great! :D
Hell yea brother I got an m3 as well mine is a 98 vert tho thanks for the tips my man!!
oh sweet! I think on verts with power tops the key lock to shut the windows will also shut the convertible top!
Fun video man;D and awesome e36😍
Thanks for watching!
drove my diahatsu charade as a run around while i cleaned my e36 today, waved at so many people with my wipers instead of indicating so many times.
lol
Do you recommend I buy this for my first car
