Just think you got more horsepower and performance in your V6 Challenger than 90% of the muscle cars of the past! Technology is king!
Absolutely! Not too interested in doing this with my own Challenger V6, but it's potent evidence of just what does sit under the hood. Pay attention everybody who says "you should of gotten the V8". A V6 Challenger has more than enough giddy up to have a bushel of fun without draining your wallet.
its the whipping boy of all v6 muscle cars tho
I like mustangs but can definitely see your point about the look, seems they're catering towards the sports car look along with chevy
markurbancowboy I just got my v6 cuz that's all i can afford but i enjoy it. I also did a burnout but less then him
Yeah it makes decent power but hopefully dodge's new chassis for the Challenger is less than two tons so that poor v6 can actually do it's thing. If you can have fun in the v6 challenger, I applaud you, just don't ever get in the R/T or scatpack like I did. Once you go V8 you'll never look back.
Should have waited till tires got old bruhh 😩😩😩
And you're right bro tires cost too much money!!!
I'm glad you kept your promise and did the burnout. well done for a first time!
Thank you, I'll definitely try to do better next time, when it's time to get new tires of course.
Lol it took a minute to get going, but actually did it and surprised me. Didn't know that the V6 cars had limited slip, and thought it would be a one tire fire if anything. I've got a zauto burnbox in my Challenger SRT8, and love it for doing huge smokey burnouts
Congrats on 1k man - great job & keep it going!
Thank You! And will do!
Nice Burnout! Why V8 owners getting buttburn about V6? If it can do what I want it to do and looks the same and its much more than enough for US streets speed limits.... Unless you go to tracks with it I dont see the point of a V8 actually, am even bored with my V6 stuck behind Civic and Prius every time I take it out! If we have some highways like Germany with no speed limit then maybe I will get a V8 if am willing to race there..
Hussein exactly!
Can't expect everyone to have a higher IQ than 80.
I’m 18 got a 2017 rt it’s fun asf
the sxt goes 130 the rt is limited to 141 when limeter off they both go 160 so like you ion get it
That someone with a V6 challenger would say. There is no replacement for displacement
Absolutely sick! lots of love from Aussie. I drive a 2016 Ford Falcon Ute with a manual and a gorgeous Australian made straight six. It's my pride and joy. Subbed!
I see both tires spinning. I didn’t know that the sxt came with a limited slip differential!
They don't it has some brake stuff
Hey man my first tazer burnout was the biggest adrenaline rush
Nice car v6 or what ever. Take care of it ....Dont tear it up!!!
I have the same exact car, I have vinyl race stripes/barcode looking down the middle, I love this car!!
Quick tip tho, if u have the select shift (should be left of Drive) use it. If u just have it in drive while doing it, you’ll mess up your transmission. Just keep it in 1st and do what u just did. All in all, pretty good for your first burnout.
He had it in manual mode
Sick burn out dude! And beautiful car!
Thank You!
Keep practicing your 0-60 time. Best time I’ve gotten in my ‘18 Chally SXT is 5.4 seconds. Car had been driven for about 30 minutes, it was only 42° outside, early morning. I haven’t been able to get that time again, but close. Usually 5.6 seconds. My vehicle is stock at the moment but I do put it into sport mode when doing the 0-60 track.
No way.1 how do you get sport mod?I got a v6 charger,2 my best time is 59 and I got a intake and tuned, how you get 56
Awesome job buddy much love and respect coming from a T/A Dodge Challenger SRT 392 owner 💥💥🤘🏼
I seriously didn't think that a 6 could do a burnout lol. That totally surprised me, and think that it could possibly give an R/T a run for its money. Because Challenger is so damn heavy, they really do need the 6.1 to be completive.
You should change your name and congratulations on hitting 1k sub
One day that name will make sense...one day
The02CumminsRAM you right !💯💯🚀❌
I do my burnouts on the SXT 2021 challenger in manual mode, along with electrics and traction modes off. Manual mode you control when it shifts usually when it hits 5500-6000 rpm I shift.
I aint gon stunt. I always thought v6 challengers couldnt do a burnout 😂 thas wassup
Edgar R I've done a burnout while moving in a sxt
Why wouldn’t it be able to do a burnout??? 🤔🤔🤔
Coming from a guy who drives a Hyundai 😂😫
@@its_bigbklyn because it's a heavy ass car with a v6 you thinking but that was a dumb ass question a year ago..
@@Big5tommy 😂😂😂
I have gotten a 6 second 0-60 in my SXT
i have a 2015 SXT. My 0-60 is down to 5.4. Follow my instagram @ venom3.6
dominique fuentes how lol. I have a 3.6 and best time I got was 5.6 and that was a slight decline. In flat best was 6.1
"I'm just gonna peg the rev limiter, bc that's good for the car".
Very good for a V6, and a first time.
Try to start the burnout in 2nd gear
Hoonigan tip.....always wet the ground first, helps with loosing traction
Cool vid man, hehe I know some v8 ricer is gonna talk shit on my comment because...theres always those types of car owners but the v6 has come along way from its slant 6 elders
You might want to gradually ease up on the brakes when you do burnouts, it puts a lot of strain on the brakes
Brand new tires I guess I will never get why burning them up is such a thrill, not criticizing you for doing it but I don't know why you or anyone would want too.
Hemi power its just nice to see the smoke and smell the burnt rubber. when i get my hellcat you bet your ass i will NOT do a burnout, tires are fucking expensive 😂
I never do burnouts with my challenger. It is the most fucking stupid thing to do. Burn your tire and then lose control on a wet road. Tires r so fucking expensive.
@@PinkFloydTheDarkSide buy atturos, 120 a piece stupid cheap
Sanket Saxena Nah you just pussy
He did this on tires he was getting rid of...
Made me even more proud of my v6 Chally Good Vid LIKED
Came for the burnout... stayed for the Peter griffin impression
Also ur like the main reason I got my tazer but I think I already told you that. If u ever come down to Florida with the Chally let’s run it I gotta v6 with tazer intake tune hellcat bumper and vents
(2015 Charger sxt+)
And hellcat paddles
I just had my mufflers deleted and my 0-60 went from 5.9 to 5.7. Going to add a cold air intake and after try and see if a throttle controller helps as well
Straight pipe the exhaust it will sound lot better. Did it to mines
Getting mine done next week
Nice car. Holding the breaks and gas at the same time is not good for the breaks or the transmission. I'm sure this once didn't break anything but you probably don't want to make a habbitt of that. I have an SXT and you can do a nice burn out without holding the break if you turn the front wheels.
Can you explain a lil more? I Just got a 16 sxt
@@khrizbean3054 dont do it !!!
Very cool bro!!! I thhink im gonna buy one of these. Keep the vids coming bro🤙🤘
nice bro, didnt think the v6 had limited slip. whats your differential look like?
any one can hold the brake and spin the tires. let's see how many feet you can lay down
You have to put the transmission in L2 and pump/modulate the gas with your foot.
What's L2? There is only 1-8 gears to select from and only 1st would spin the tires.
Okay I just need to know how because I can’t for the life of me get my 2018 challenger gt to do a burnout. My front wheels move no matter what.
Best time i got with a stock sxt on the 0-60 was 6.4 sec not bad for v6 but not great either considering the wifes acura suv is pretty much right there with me
Nice I will be doing my burn out video as well I will post it . SXT V6 burn out
You got the spy 🕵️♀️ hunter🏎 💨 smokescreen going on from your burnout!
I thought if you put it on sports mode it put sport transaction control back on
The tread on mine went FASSSSTTT!
I have a v8 so i guess its a bit different.
Had the car for 5 months and i need new tires :D LOL
Congratulations! It's me, @moparfam_300c on Instagram! I see you've followed me! Thank You for the love and support! Your videos are very inspiring to me!👍👍👍👍👍
MoparFam 300C kewl stuff, I would buy a 300c myself and prob get the stroker crank
Thank you! and thank you for your support on Instagram!
Oh Anytime for sure!👍👍👍👍👍
what did u mean when u said fail I want to do a burnout in my challenger but also don't want to damage it
i wanna see one of these race a 303 hp gxp or monte ss
take out your rev limiter thats what i did in my 2013 sxt and it should allow you to shift while spinning the tires
awesome dude I’m boutta buy my v6 brand new soon !!!
Hi Juan Lopez
0-60 in 7.2? That’s cute. 😂
But this is an automatic, that hurts the transmission... or did they do something for autos?
Man that was good for your first time.
Hi guys, i gotta ask. I have similar car, only little older (2015) and non-Plus version. I always wonder how to do burnout, cause i have button for traction control which i cant turn off,and also sport mode same as in vid, but i dont have stability control button and i am pretty sure my car dosnt have line lock. When he punched the gas pedal, his front wheels stayed at same spot. How does that work? I mean, you obviously cant stand on the brakes cause then rear wheels wouldnt spin at all, but i imagine that when you put it in 1st gear and hit the gas,it would go forward.
shift to manual in 1st gear and dont hold the gas let off the throttle then give it some more to keep the rpms high but not redlining the shit out of it
never mind i never finished watching 😂😂😂
Bro how do u keep ur car clean. How often do u wash it.? I have to wash mine like every 3 to 4 days to keep it ok looking I'm from Texas
Nice vid! I got the same exact car but mines contusion blue 😃
Any mechanical issues with it ?
Cummings how did you do the burn out? Did you step on both the gas paddle and brake then let go of the brake just a bit?
Just Hold the breaks and step on the gas, Now that I have the Tazer with linelock I can just hold a button and step on the gas, then let go when I’m ready to launch
I got one of these. It’s pretty. Can’t say much more about it.
Nice burnout bro
I got 5.6 for my best time when I had the sxt +
Do you have to be in manual when u do this ?
"Oh my gosh" lol
Congrats man!!!
Thank You!
I swear when I do a burnout mine doesn’t do that much smoke ! Is it because of the tires ? Or I’m just not doing it right
Here before the fame
I havr the same car but how do you have these add on??
I just subscribed and I'm thinking about getting one of these cars when I can.
Hoover Plays Thank You for subscribing! And I definitely recommend the Challenger to anyone.
The02CumminsRAM No problem for subscribing. You deserve more.
I turn off the traction control off still it only do one wheel
You could have gotten a 2011 SRT8 Chally. And there's no such thing as cooled seats. They are ventilated, little fans in them.
I know there ventilated seats, just saying cooled is easier sometimes. Plus cooled seats do exist, ford and other manufacturers like Lexus have them, where it's actually cold air-conditioned air going through the seat.
Hey bro .. How do you turn off the stability control ?
what exactly did you do to turn off the ESC?
Hold traction control button while you start the car and wait for the chime
what happened to the shifter paddles on steering wheel like you have on all of your other videos.
The shift is on the nob in the middle
How do you turn on back the traction controls ?
I would have thought your gas mileage would have been higher. Sash392 has a 2016 Durango with a 5.7 hemi getting 20+ mpg. Unless you're a little heavy on the go-pedal.
Badass video, going sub, my bro has Challenger too im uploading videos2.. Congrats on the 1000 subs..
Who want to see some donuts in the challenger??? 🤔
How can u do a burnout in a v6 it’s standard?
Ford Motors its automatic and standard would've been the easiest way.
Next time spray a bit of javex on the tires first
Is there something else in the car other than the tazer ?
nope
Ayo if you worried bout tires pour down underneath the tires
Why are you in manual mode??? 🤔🤔🤔
Does your car have line lock?
Nice and congrats!
Thank You!
the poor tires never had a chance😃
That's right, put them tires in their place lol
I'm sorry I wouldn't messed up my new tires .tires cost a lot of money!
Just Subscribed bro !!!
The front tire dos it effect?
Not bad for the first time.
Why didn't you activate the features from the Tazer that you have, it has line lock which is meant for burnouts, I think you would of had better results. Should also add the extra engine gauges that's what I want to see. Without the line lock you are messing up your brakes. Nice tho
Jay Wilson I know, I really wanted to use it but I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow to have service done. I just didn't want to deal with putting the Taser on, then putting it off. I'll definitely try a burn out again with line lock once my tires ready to be changed out.
Got ya, the Tazer does nothing to the pcm are anything though, it just adds features that's already there, but I understand ya.. will look forward to it
OH MY GOSSSHHH!!!
Love that color, what's the name of the paint??
Octane Red pearlcoat
Octane red but I find the coat on it is so thin it gets scratches so easy. I’m actually disappointed in Dodge paint jobs. I have the exact same challenger as this one, same color everything and but a 2018 and it’s got 4000 Kms on it and already just from washing it it’s got a few scratches that are so light but you can see the primer. You can’t even feel them with your fingernails but seeing primer. That’s a super thin coat of paint. I’m thinking of getting it clear coated to protect it a lot more.
How do u get sport mode?
How you do a burnout?.
Lexer you push the brake and the gas pedal at the same time
1. turn off stability control if you have it
2. put car in lowest gear.
3. press brakes all the way down.
4. Press gas all the way down.
5. slowly release brakes
I am so jealous of the gas mileage a v6 gets
Facts
I got 5.5sec on my v6
You should get other wheels like hellcat it will get a lot somke🔥
So you just hold the brakes and hold the gas?
Yep, pretty easy. I just need to get to know the car a little better to do a better burnout.
Thanks man and that burnout was pretty good lol i havent even been able to do a full burnout yet in my R/T plus lol (becuase i didnt know how to turn off stability control) but yea man nice car
Lol 😆 guess it was 👌🏼
But the noise just wasn't there like a V8. Idk? Think you ran the RPM's to high😬? Save $$ for tires man!!
Dude, the 2 little burns won't eat more than about 500 miles off.
Subbed!!
are those Stock wheels or after market?
stock
V6 doesnt go 160mph, thats a v8
