Been following along for a while now after starting from scratch, just wanted to share that I tailored in my suit vest and trousers for a friend's wedding next month! Luckily I didn't have to mess with the jacket

This was actually great info. There are times things like this happen and I chastise my sewing machine like “What’s your problem? Oh, you don’t want to work today?!?” Or praying the machine works smoothly not realizing it’s user error.

Bro, I am 5'6" with some muscle left over from my time in the army and a 46" chest. If a shirt is made for my chest or pants are made for my waist, I guarantee that garment was made for a dude who is 6'4" tall. You have saved me so much money and frustration... THANK YOU!

Yes so you want to use a narrow zigzag stitch instead.
