Losing weight occurs when you decrease calories through a healthy diet and burn calories with exercise. Start out slowly, getting your body used to moving. This new 15-minute HIIT workout popped up just in time for me this morning! I really wanted to do a "new to me" cardio workout after about 25 minutes combined of old favorites for my warm-up and strength exercises and was trying to decide between a 10-minute workout and a 30-minute workout. This 15-minute workout was a perfect compromise! I used 5-lb. dumbbells for most of the dumbbell moves, but switched to 3-pounders for the punches. I was already good and dewy from the strength workouts when I started, and the dewiness increased --in a good way throughout this one. I did an extra cooldown at the end and am feeling energized and ready for the day ahead!

Losing weight occurs when you decrease calories through a healthy diet and burn calories with exercise. Start out slowly, getting your body used to moving. This new 15-minute HIIT workout popped up just in time for me this morning! I really wanted to do a "new to me" cardio workout after about 25 minutes combined of old favorites for my warm-up and strength exercises and was trying to decide between a 10-minute workout and a 30-minute workout. This 15-minute workout was a perfect compromise!
I used 5-lb. dumbbells for most of the dumbbell moves, but switched to 3-pounders for the punches. I was already good and dewy from the strength workouts when I started, and the dewiness increased --in a good way throughout this one. I did an extra cooldown at the end and am feeling energized and ready for the day ahead!

September means new beginnings, and one of things I have on my list for this month is to get into shape by following your exercise classes every day. I’m 85 with limited mobility, but love your sessions and think they will be for me. I just lasted 10 minutes with this first class - I “listened to my body” and stopped until tomorrow.
