Ryan probably wakes up in a cold sweat at nights, saying, "The stack, oh, no more on the stack."
For those unfamiliar with the corner case rules in this episode:
- Aven Mindcensor affects any opponent searching any library.
- Opposition Agent affects any opponent searching their own library, but not searching others' libraries.
- This means Praetor's Grasp works normally under an opposing Oppo Agent but is affected by Aven Mindcensor.
- I hope this helps!
Tk still searched with a mind censor out. Which should not have happened except the top 4. No???
It's possible that he did only search the top 4 and that fact was missed in post production. It's been a bit since we recorded this game, so I honestly don't remember. We were all very aware of the tutor hate on the board throughout the game, so I think missing that in post production is more likely. I can't say for sure either way.
It’s because Oppo says “you control” the player when they’re searching
@@ShadowWasntHere8433 can still only search the top 4.
I had to pause the video to look up aven’s exact text just to confirm exactly that lol
I love when demonic consultation gets used as intended: a high risk but powerful tutor.
I love when Rhystic Study gets punished hard, thank you bowmaster
Super glad to see some Breya representation at the table. Cool game
Another MF-Doom-worthy stack with that Wheel of Fortune, that was poetry in motion.
Ok so I think a big runner up for most valuable card is Aven Mindcensor. Put in a loooot of work.
Also I think that might have been the highest number of unique spells on the stack in any episode. (Unique meaning like flusterstorm copies don’t count).
Am I wrong or did TK competly skip his Pact of Negation trigger on the 2nd to last round?
It always brings a smile to my face to see a Demonic Consultation backfire. ❤
6:17 the wishclaw talisman should've searched only the too 4 due to aven mindsencor 😂
Another game that almost sends Ryan to the hospital due to lack of oxygen...
that bottom left mat, what a beautiful art!!
Love seeing heavy stack interactions. Help make me play better too, knowing when to interact with what
Would love to see more Breya in the future. My favorite Commander
What a game!!
Shout out to Ryan the Rapper!
TK alrd lost before conniving, he didnt pay the pact 😂
Technically not really. It is a trigger and if players forget it, since its not one that can just be ignored, it goes onto the stack when its remembered. This can be used to some players advantage sadly but its how the rules work instead of just killing the player for passing it
As per usual, winconless stax just handing the win to someone else once all other players turn on them to deal with the board.
The only thing that confuses me is the large Bowmaster amass 21, 2 of the triggers fizzle due to shroud meaning it should have only amassed 19 for the Wheel draws. I don't think that makes a difference overall but it could in some cases.
Could be a minor rules oversight, but I would assume that the amass isn't dependent on the damage actually going off/connecting. To me it reads as just a way to indicate what order to do things in. Damage first, then amass after it all resolves.
@@Guitarman0147if an ability has no legal targets, the whole ability fizzles. No damage would be dealt, and no orcs would be amassed (from the official rulings)
It makes no difference here as you say, but barely. The token that hit Nick in the end was a 19/19 (due to Toxic Deluge) and Nick was at 15. It should've been a 17/17, so it would've still been lethal, but it was close.
At min 6:14 Mike activated wishclaw talisman but, wasn't Aven Mindcensor on field, locking him? May be I missed something so he could do that.
Did Mike search the top four cards with the Talisman? The narration doens't imply that.
What is the art called for those sleeves Mike has?
They're just lightning dual matte dragon shields.
smh i am not very observant. I thought the card backs you put in during the opening hands portion were actually their sleeves.

I feel like Shaun forgot about Dauthi Voidwalker a few times this game
How does Mike search when he cast praetors grasp with an opposition agent on board?
Nutsssssss. Loved this
hahaha. Awesome gameplay, freaking great finish. That was epic.
Helluva end!
These new farie cards are wild my fiancee is going to be too happy to have a chance to beat me.
I bully her often 🤣
Did wishclaw end up searching too many times? That last 2 turns where Mike searched but the search was controlled by TK should have removed the last counter on Wishclaw, when it went to TK it still had a counter on it, which lead to TK searching for deluge and winning? Or am I missing the number of times it was activated?
It isn't clear what exactly happens. A second wishclaw is played and both the narration and the video are a bit unclear about what happens. I think that the wishclaws are hidden by the card fetcher when they're on TK's board, which makes it hard to see or maybe it's all edited out. It also looks like Mike has both wischlaws after the narration only notes TK using one. Judging by the lotus petal in yard and the 5 lands tapped I think maybe TK used both wishclaws? Two mana for fish, two for signet, two for wishclaw, two total for wishclaw activations paid for by 6 from lands (one of the lands is tomb), petal, and signet. I think that adds up?
Now that's a way to win the game, genius!
Not that it matters now, but didn't TK fail to pay the Pact trigger?
nice editing
Thanks
Shouldn't wish claw be limited to top 4 by mind censor. Did Mike forget 😂
I miss something. Why don't kill TK will Breya 3 damage ability?
Great game!
So T.K. did search tho with a Mindcensor out and seems like it was more than the top 4 cards. Idk what happnend there lol.

@@spielrahoo yeah def psbl. Just weird he said it a couple mins before and didn't say it there. No worries.
Let’s goooooooo!
That was the longest game ever lol
@mike rem is just too pure for how shes treated…
Searching with claw when avenmind sensor is in play
If you mean at 13:25 ish, Dress Down made it possible
Let's go!!!
On the last turn Mike could have just sacrificed two artifacts to Breya’s ability. Was he just going for BM?
He was locked under the Cursed Totem
TBF, Mike could have just moved to his turn, drawn, and passed. TK would have died on his draw step. He just ended it a turn cycle faster.
Well that game went nowhere I was expecting it to go
TK never paid for the pact.
most valuable card should've been rhystic tbh

sylvan had shroud, shouldnt have died
Nick’s playmat is sus. Lolis on a playmat is automatically weird to me.
They aren't lolis.
@@Theronxz they are children so they are
@@IAmGrimReefer A loli is a character that is drawn like they are 5-10 years old and are sometimes way older than how they appear. An actual loli from Re Zero would be Beatrice. Who is 400 years old and looks like she is 8-10. Rem and Ram are both 17 who later turn 18 and 19 in the series and are drawn like young adults. Thus, not lolis.
