I remember when these games dropped on PS2. Everything was so memorable and it felt like a movie the entire time. I miss this ubisoft company, they used to make some really kick ass games. Thats all before the Investors decided they knew what was best to make money, screw making a great game.

37:35 is THAT how you get past that steam without sacrificing the security guard? It always bugged me there was no way to make sure he made it out since if you didn't knock out those guys shooting his door they'd come back with barrels and blow it open to get to him, which would allow you access forward! Learn something new with these playthroughs.
The A.I kill me when you start whisteling continuously and then the guy say "I heard footsteps" I was wait footstep ? And later when he lost you even if you were whistlening again, he say My eyes (or mind) are tricked on and then laugh about the a.i having some sense problem XD. By the way it's always a pleasure to see you do this challenge and explain everything if we want to do the same. Thank you for your hardwork ^^
This game scared the shit out of me when I played it when I was 3 or 4 years old. Mainly because of the music. When you alert an enemy, the music gets super intense and loud and I'd panic and try to run away lol
I couldnt do what this guy does with his constant squatting and if i sneaked around like that all i could think of is "ah shit my poppy crunchy knees gave me away."
Been years since I’ve last played pandora tomorrow, but one thing I remember that’s funny is @ 1:13:49 you can skip repelling and just fall off the side of the building and land on the officer talking with the escort. You would barely live, but It knocks out the guard and is just a funny thing I would always do here.
I had this game back when I was a kid, but I was terrible at it and never got past the tramcar in the first real level. Glad to finally see what the other 80% of this game was about!

On the train mission, when you get to passenger car with the 2 terrorists, you can shimmy outside the train for a way cooler method to evade them. Other than that, very nice playthrough.
This is why I won't stop clicking your vidz this is one of those games that gave me trouble when I first played it but you always make it look easy and it inspired me to check out some of my old games
Never played a Splinter Cell game before. I’m a big fan of MGS and this makes me wanna pop in my random copy of Double Agent into my Ps2 to see what it’s about.
I'm a big MGS fan... That said, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is one of the greatest stealth games ever made. If you are a fan of the genre, you owe it to yourself to at least give it a shot.
Gotta give it to Sam Fischer's genius plan to just leave the smallpox bomb out in the open at the LAX and let the police take care of it. LAPD is faster and more efficent at bomb disposal than National Security lmao
I actually did pirate the shit out of this, but ONLY because this version is not for sale anywhere and prohibitively expensive everywhere else. If you pay money for a game that is no longer on the market, you are specifically paying for the privilege to own a physical copy of it.
Chaos Theory is easily one of the best stealth games ever. I got 100% on every mission when I was a kid and I replayed it again a few years ago and it still holds up.
@@Koalavater I got very fond memories of trying to beat the missions split screen with my stepbrothers on console. We didn't do so well, especially since we never figured out you could pause and save the game mid-mission
I remember using the whistling to make my dogs bark like crazy back in the days. I'd turn the volume far enough down that they could hear it, but my parents couldn't and they'd get mad our dogs. I was such a little shithead. Good times!
Frankly, I think that PT deserves the remaster more than the first game. The visuals, /that/ room from mission 2 and those awful guard voices give me a slimey feeling every time I play it.
You should do a run on Conflict: Desert Storm, It was one of my favorite games to play on the PS2 and I still play it to this day. I would love to see someone who is much better at video games than I'll ever be to amaze at stuff I still didn't know about the game.

Fun fact, I don’t know if it’s this game or chaos theory, but you can use sticky cameras to knock out enemies as long as you aim for the head and retrieve the sticky cameras after the enemy is unconscious

It wasn't the flashiest or most important game in the franchise, but I think it has good moments and deserves to be remembered as a good game rather than "the game Ubisoft never ended up fixing". This was one of the game series that I always wanted to play but never really gotten around to it, kind of like the Resident Evil franchise. Though, it's a series that i do like watching people play, can't wait to see how you annihilate this game like all the others. I thought that was Dennis Haysbert, took me a few minutes to realize it. Some people might remember him from the show 24, with Kiefer Sutherland. Micheal Ironside was great as Sam Fisher, been a fan of his since Top Gun and Starship Troopers. These game definitely had a great cast.
@@CarcinogenSDA Both are still active in film and tv/streaming. But Ironside is the only one of the two still working on games. I actually checked their filmography to be sure. Shame too, Haysbert has a great voice.
I plan to do every version. I already did V1 of SC1 for PC version, then V2 on the PS2 version because it has an extra level that the GCN version I think doesn't have.

Probably it would have been for the best to just keep it with Ubisoft Montreal lol. Anyways, Red Storm was working on Ghost Recon and Raven Shield at the time, and I’m glad we got those. It’s a shame what Ubisoft has done to all of those awesome IPs.
yeah truly the forced stealth missions in rainbow six and rogue spear are complete garbage. The one in rogue spear was so bad it halted my playthrough completely and I havent been back to it since and at that point I had only lost one guy total :( it wasnt until thief the dark project where stealth was done in a game with any level of success without relying on abstract gimmicks , probably why splinter cell used most of its mechanics
For getting sadano in the studio around 3:00:00, the cleanest & least annoying way (without having to take out his guards or chasing him around while avoiding his fire) I found was just waiting in the double door exit corridor with the light switch (where he leaves from after he finishes recording his speeches), once you turn the lights off it's easy to hide and sneak up behind him as walks to exit (you have a small time window before he reaches the exit and mission fail), easier to grab from behind than the regular guards at this point. The guards don't shoot you (they even say they can't). I headshotted the two looking at me with the pistol (only 2 were visible), after which the remaining 2 did then try to shoot me (but easy to get them too as they came one by one). I tried without shooting anyone as well, they just keep following you with guns drawn, went thru both retinal scanners with him, only once you get to the helipad do they start firing but you can just auto-trigger the end dialogue which closes the doors and it's fine.
I'm curious, are you gonna do Resident Evil Revelations 1 (console port)? I think it's the only major RE game you didn't do (don't remember seeing it in your walkthrough playlist). I'm really curious about some things, like how you'd handle on hard mode the parts where you play as characters who can't mod their guns.

It's not Chaos Theory, you can knock them out but the camera breaks on impact with an enemy 😢

You can increase the brightness from the game options and you don't need to use night vision all the time.
