That saw is an oscillating cutting tool specifically for casts. Unlike one with a rotating blade, it is meant to be safer & not cut skin when removing a cast.
That makes sense, i always wondered why nurses seemed so carefree when they were cutting into casts with a dremel tool!
Yeah I'm not buying the not cut the skin part....did you see the fear it struck into everyone after seeing what it could do to a paper pad
@@gilmoregrump2653 This is used by nurses/doctors to remove casts without having to worry about cutting skin. It doesn't cut through soft surfaces, because they move with the oscillation of the 'blade'. As long as you don't put too much pressure on the skin it is fine, it will mostly tickle.

What a deal Pete got on the saw had he known what it was I am sure he would have offered more. Those saws go used for upwards of 500-1000 depending on makers and so on.

If you replace the fuses, most likely the fuses will blow again. Something caused the fuses to blow. It may not be a capacitor. I believe you have a faulty power supply in the receiver. Best to get it serviced.
You should listen to your customers and not talk so much when your selling them on your offer ..the guy with the three items at the end already told you the $275 was a very fair price and he understood ..and then you have him an option to ask for more and talked yourself out of another $25 ..maybe your just a nice guy and Luke to give away cash but I always listen to what my customers say and once they say good deal ask for the ID

I for one LOVE incandescent lights... I HATE the new LED lights ... too blinding bright to me. You can find the replacement bulbs on amazon or ebay.. you screwed up on that one
My dad had some awesome stereo equipment when I was little....seems like I remember seeing it in pictures as far back as 1977. He was a musician and also had a large cabinet of albums as well. Mostly rock and jazz from 60's to the early 80's. If I'm not mistaken, he still has it all packed down in his basement but its probably all ruined by now. I'd love to hear it powered up. Nothing in my 45 years sounds as good as his stereo setup did.
The sound equipment was so high fidelity back then. Good quality strong stuff. I really miss the old stack set ups. I had a sweet Bose set up my parents got me in the late 80’s.

Shipping cost and you obtain the item immediately, you can inspect it before you buy it and you are not competing in a bid war. I do it all the time. They probably live close enough to make the trip.

@@dickhertz8103 Yep. Pisses me off, I'm a construction worker. Just the tool and bat, no charger. Some other small hand tools in the bag and 2 hats? That was DEFINITELY a quick steal when someone wasn't looking. When the reply to the first offer is instantly "that's fine", then you know it's all about drugs at that point.

The "GS" on the saw is actually a german certification mark for technical equipment. Also that saw looks like a KLS Martin plaster saw (model 21-551-00-04) which may cost way north of 1000 EUR new...

Peter I know you are in the business of making money, but when someone comes in with a vintage stereo like the one in this video, I think you should tell the person that you will need a couple of hours or longer to check it out properly. Telling someone that you might only get "X" amount of dollars for the stereo, because you don't know if it will play properly is unfair to the person selling it. If you checked it out, and found that everything worked okay, you could tell the person to come back the following day and you could offer him more money, and make the deal a "Fair Deal"! for the both of you. You know as well as I do that you can make a good dollar from a vintage stereo, because there are many people scouring the internet to buy them!
So many people walk in, to browse around the shop, I'm sure some will shoplift. There is no surveillance at all.

Hi Pete. ! When you looked at the Moody Blues album and said it looked waxy, it might have been an import. Import albums , say from the U.K., Germany or Holland almost all have a shine or waxy look to them. Compared to the U.S albums more dull look. Sometimes imports go for a little more money. Peace.

It looks like you found out what saw was, as you are trying to get $279 for it.
So many sellers should take 5 mins. of their time to check on Ebay, or Amazon, just to get an idea of what the item is selling for, before they sell it. The buyer could've easily got 75 dollars, he only got 25. Items made in Germany, are of top quality.

Have you see this video CNBC did from Utah where the police sent people into pawn shops with what they said should have been obvious to the Pawn shop that the item was stolen I guess because it was new in the box. After doing that they arrested some shop owners based on this "investigation". The Media didn't talk about the paper work that is sent to the police department for every item bought the police who are suppose to determine what is stolen. I have been to a ton of pawn shops and I will say you always give a fair offer when people try to sell their stuff to you. That also speaks a lot about your character. At least we know we are supporting a positive business and honorable man.
