This video didn’t quite help me with what I was looking for, but your presentation and tutorial wise was great! I still did learn something! I know you will be having more video I can learn from and your set up will be getting better. Great video overall and I’m definitely subscribing. Underrated 👍
@@DanielWhiteWithCanon hey! Yeah I was just looking to see more of some setting of FPS and slowing it down in post. I have an idea of a short 3 second clip in my head of a slow mo and wanted to see how to get a nice crisp super slow video without buying a high Frame rate camera. Since I plan on picking up the EOS RP or R sometime soon
ola. sou do brasil e adorei seu video, gostaria de saber como melhorar a captacao de fotos na Eos R, visando ter maios alcance dinamico nas fotografias. Devo sub expor ou super expor?
Hi Daniel! Thank you for the video. I ve got eos r6 to shoot stills, but now getting interested in making short videos. Thus a question: can i see the result of 60 fps on my phone or camera itself. Im filming on 60 fps but the image speed just as usual 24 fps. There is no difference visible. If i film on 120 fps both on camera itself and phone its visible slowmo, but 60fps just make no difference from regular video. I do not have any post production programs yet , but there should be a way. Greetings, from the Netherlands
Hi, it only pöays back 120 and 100 fps down by 4x the rest are left at the same speed. I would definitely recommend getting some post-production software. Enjoy! I have a video about this that is much newer than this one.
Hey Daniel, on my Canon R, even with the shutter speed correct and the image stabilizers turned off in camera and lens, I feel a beat in the image mainly when panning. It feels like the IS is active and is "fighting" the panning movement, however the IS is off. Do you know what it can be? Thanks and congratulations for the good job.
@@DanielWhiteWithCanon So maybe the panning speed is too high? I've been reading about the subject and I'm starting to realize that it's impossible for the image to be fluid at 25 fps if the panning isn't very very slow. In 50 fps It may already be a higher panning speed, is that it?
You can slow it down to 60% as well but for "best" results 40% is the lowest you can go before your image will no longer be smooth and will start have missing frames.
You might not be in NTSC if you can't find the 60 fps settings. I have another video that shows you how to switch between the PAL and NTSC settings. Then got to movie quality on the first tab.
Hi 17 who commented 17 min ago. First trippy lol and No clue to be honest but if you go into you video settings you should be able to find the frame rates. Usually in the first tab of the red camera.
lol very trippy indeed! i do see the frame rate option but as far as the options shown in the video, i don’t see. it may be time for me to upgrade lol thanks

Thanks you sir for it
You are very welcome!
Thank you I get more experience 🎉😊
Mine doesn’t let me have the log settings also I’m gettin a slow to write notification
Sounds like an SD card issue.
What’s your IG account i wanted to send you a video and know if this camera is capable of that kind before i send it back and get the R6
The R definitely has Log.
these comments don’t pass vibe check. loved the video! thank you!
Thanks for the comment glad it helped you out! :)
Also good to note that the EOS r has has its highest dynamic range at 800 ISO.
Jackson Ricketts why would you say 800? I have always seen 12 stops at 400iso.
@@DanielWhiteWithCanon That is what Canon recomends

Can Canon R autofocus for slow motion recording?
Love your video! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!

This is just how it is try to adjust the shutter speed some and your panning speed to get the desired results.

Great video, thanks! Just one doubt, the speed has to go down a 40% in post edit, when shooting at 60 fps?

My eos r don’t have the 5th setting
Mostly it is not showing 60fps in the camera, how can we set this can u give an information

5d mark iv and canon r6 and EOS R and Sony a7iii which one is best for wedding photography and long term use
Canon r6 probablly. no clue about the a 7iii.
@@DanielWhiteWithCanon what about EOS Rp If i have a low budget
@@ma.ajigarkhan7540 the RP is a good option for anyone who mostly does photo.
What do you edit your videos in mate ?
premier
So the EOS R can't do in camera 60FPS like the BMPCC4k but only in post?
Waiting for 4k 120 on the r5!!
Oh yea its going to be very nice to have extra options.
Thanks for the info...but did you intentionally call it the ESO R?
It was a shop that I worked with all the time back in the military. ESO was the acronym and it slips in after I start talking.
Daniel White Lol, no worries just making you aware. Thanks for the videos, I just picked up an EOS R so I’m stoked to learn much more about it!

How to add 60 frame
is my eos rebel T5i too outdated for this?

Is there not a way to interpreter the footage as 24fps in Premiere?
Hi Paul there is a way. I have a tutorial covering how to fix 120 FPS from the R6 that should answer your question to a T.
ruclips.net/video/P-B1WhkGBZk/видео.html
Hmm log option not there for me
should you really adjust the "strength" setting?
I haven't messed with the R C log in almost a year but it should help with dynamic range and add some color to the shadows.
ESO R?
Yup that’s a thing. I explain why across the channel sometimes.
how can i get 60 fps on 1080 slowmotion
If you use the Niall settings available your 60 frames option will be shooting in 1080.
Any chance you’re related to Dana White?
I think not who knows.
Do you think shooting in 720 at 120fps would work for Tiktok? I don’t have the HD upload feature yet anyway.
Hi Mimi the small screens won’t tell the difference. I upload 480 to Instagram all the time.
@@DanielWhiteWithCanon good to know. This video was super helpful and I’m excited to put your tips to use! Thanks so much!
10 bit only happens on 4K sadly.
What videos will you be shooting next?
A small video of how me and my family are spending this quarentine. Saludos, desde Panamá!
Instead of scrap booking what will they call scrap vlogging I wonder?
What camera mode would you recommend using for 60fps
Hi Jack I always shoot in manual when I vlog I put ISO to auto but that is because it’s much more casual.
eso R :(
Good tutorial on settings for slow motion, but I think the color grading sections distract from what the video is titled/about.
Please slow down when showing camera settings. Im gonna have to watch this 10 times just to see what you did.
Its something I have been working on. Thanks for watching!
ESO R :)))
yup yup!
The music is very bad
