Trophy Lake Trout of Tazin Lake | Bucket List Fy In Fishing Camp

Trophy lake trout fly in fishing adventure. Remote fly in fishing camp in the very extreme northern region of Saskatchewan, Canada. Tazin Lake Lodge is renown for annually producing some of the very largest lake trout caught in the world.
Bucket list float plane fishing lodge with excellent lake trout fishing and northern pike fishing. Caught numbers of lake trout sharp shooting tube jigs below the boat. Caught some of the very biggest lake trout trolling with snap weights. Found numbers of pike with some trophy class fish over forty inches in the shallow sand bays where there was cabbage.
Lodge was comfortable and the lake was unique with a terrain of high hills that rose several hundred feet from the shore of the lake. A very picturesque place to catch giant lake trout. We had four anglers in camp when we fished in July and in four days of fishing, the biggest lake trout was 46 inches. We had five other fish over 40 inches. With a few in the 43 inch range. Tazin Lake is also popular with anglers in the know because it is just small enough with different basins where you can find protected places to fish during strong winds.

Thank you Jason my dad use to take us to crow lake in Nester falls Canada lake trout fishing. We always used pink or yellow jigs and sonars it 60 t0 90 feet of water brings back memories and the Sioux narrows was amazing he is gone now but i have those memories.
