Skyrim - Top 5 Hardest Decisions
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 7 июл 2024
- I don't think it's necessary for me to eat him, is it?.. Here, I list my Top 5 Hardest Decisions in Skyrim. These choices will influence what you think were the best endings to a quest, or event, and hopefully you can live with yourself afterwards. I also do other Top 5s, like Skyrim secrets. There are secret locations, even secret enemies and quests to be found. Which usually lead to weird theories or your own fan theory.
Since I'm on PC, I love the Skyrim new mods. There are quest mods and companion mods that are outstanding. They definitely make creating character builds, or looking for rare encounters and mysteries, or even the hardest boss, a lot more fun. Careful of any weird deaths you may have, though.
Please like, comment, and subscribe, and if you want to talk, my other social media is below : )

When I ate the corpse one of the npcs told me I had bad breath. I went back to my recent load and declined eating the body. My dragonborns breath is minty fresh bitch
Semen Demon You should have shouted that bitch to oblivion
Semen Demon xD
Semen Demon I don't have good breath cause I be eatin that ass
Why go back a game?
Tyler Raposo should've hit him with that ice form shout so he can really feel how winter fresh my breath is 😂
You killed Paarthanax

I’ve never killed parthurnax so I didn’t get that trophy. I mean like. Fuck 100% 99% it is.
Cyka Blyat no that’s unreasonable. -all and -9999999999. Have fun getting back up
"What is Better, to be born good? Or to overcome your evil nature through great effort"
One sounds more comforting to your peers than the other
Was that something Arngeir said? I don't remember that quote.
"Are people born wicked? Or do they have wickedness thrust upon them?" ;)
Be born good considering it doesn't involve murdering & enslaving tons of people.
@@tjknight 😂
For every time someone has killed parthernax another year is added until elder scrolls six comes out
Im 33. I have kids etc. Been sround a while played a lot of games. Etc.
I have never had more hype for a game than i do for es6. Im starting to not really enjoy fps anynore bc i kind of just want to chill more in games. Thats why i am only champ 2 on rocket league any more is too sweaty for what im looking for. Es has always been a game to be as hard or as easy as you want
And thats why i just quit yet another mage attempt to start a new khajit thief/assassin....again....
Koding Krusader Couldn’t agree more dude i feel the same, fps are getting kind of redundant to me. I’ve always been an rpg guy, but i feel like i’m at the point where they are really actually all i play now. There’s nothing i want more than ES6... been waiting way too damn long.
@@kodingkrusader2765 it always ends at the dreaded sneak archer.
I always end up doing one hand spells (mainly restoration) and a sword with heavy armor
So that's why it's taking so long!
@@kodingkrusader2765 Mods will let you break that cycle of quitting mages.
"should i pick eyes #1 or eyes #5" this speaks to me on a deep and spiritual level
Wild Phantom idk about you, but when I'm playing I forget that Skyrim has beds and that sleep is actually good for you...
Lucy Doyen same... only time i ever slept was to initiate the dark brotherhood quests, and even then was cause i had to xD besides, what is sleep to a werewolf?
TheBlazingFlareon true me too sleeping is usseles for is werewolfs
Marie Smith dude I'll take an hour (or sometimes more) just trying to figure out what I'm going to make my new character into. The struggle
@Marie Smith Beginning character decisions are HARD, so many cool options in Skyrim. Do I want Restoration in addition to Evocation, or do I just want two fisted Fire all game long...or lightning..or cold. How much do I put in being a smooth talker? Do I want to focus on Sneaking? Don't forget bow use..but the two handed weapons are fun. Wait....I forgot Crafting...Argh!
Hardest decision for me was choosing between magika health or stamina after reaching level 2
Tru tru 😂😂
I know right
That's so true
XD damn right
I once had an Archer/assassin that was named pack mule. He was a Khajiit, who could only use bows. Every level up had to be put on stamina. By the time I got around to doing the main quest his stats looked like this; 100/100 Magicka 100/100 Health 850/850 Stamina....
The blades can rot, Paarthurnax is basically the Dragonborn's brother.
DAMN RIGHT
They so can...
Yes
Yeah
Was there even an option to not kill him? I felt really bad for bashing him in the head...I mean why wouldn't you give a man a chance to be a good guy again?
Hardest Decision? Turning off the game or do 1 more quest 1 more quest 1 more quest 1 more quest…..
Morning alarm rings, dang, well I guess I dont need to shower today, I could finnish up this quest instead
I can't say I agree. Always got time for my peeps. And by my peeps I mean the good people of Skyrim who depend on my heroics.
how is killing parthanax hard, its simple, if you kill parthanax uninstall the game because you clearly cant make the right choices
May the Divines bless your kind heart
I killed him because I was young and naive.
@@pasteldreams4204 I killed him when I was an ignorant 10 year old

The shit treatment of NPC's and inappropriate/lacking of respect is the reason why mods that put them in their right place exists.
The contract was on Astrid, anyway.
So damn true😂
Bruno Veloso its ok in the end she became the black sacrement no big deal
I mean she literally uses her last breath to praise you if you kill her.
"Is it better to be born good, or to overcome your evil nature?"
Alduin was special even among dragons, he lorded over them, and the dragons were as subjugated as the people. Parthurnax had no choice in the matter. However, when given the chance to fight back, he did, and he saved the world by doing so.
Parthurnax is redeemed by his actions, and no one will convince me otherwise.
So he killed hundreds? Thousands heck tens of thousands? How many lived and live today in tamriel? He has saved millions. He is the true hero
Fuck dragons they suck

Parthenax earned his pardon, the Blades should get yeeted from Sky Haven Temple, whose blood was it that opened it in the first place?
@@samuelhaverghast2442 I agree, the blades suck. Paarthurnax is best boy.
Hardest Question: Greymane Or Battleborn?
Darn Greymane traitors!!
Olfrid Battle-born! Patron of the great clan Battle-born. A name I'm sure you've heard well.
Battlemane
I should bash your face in after all you've done.
Then I say well met friend. I can tell you were a sharp one the moment i laid eyes on you.
killing Paarthurnax?
the only hard decision there is what shout do I want to use on Delphine after hearing her say that.
The classic is the best. Unrelenting shout her off the Throat of the world. Although she is marked as essential and thus cannot die, somehow she never made it back into the Temple on my playthrough, unlike Esbern who did and is still chilling there being happy that I blasted her sorry ass into an alternate universe.
Unrelenting Force right off the Throat of the World
True. She deserves to go to Mehrunes Dagon's realm in Oblivion and burn
Doragon Cro true
Whiterun Guard easy bro soul tear , bitch doesn't deserve her soul .
I think that the killing Paarthurnax decision could have been better by having him not fight back.
Imagine, you’ve made the gut-wrenching choice to kill the dragon, and as you raise your sword, he does not flinch, but looks you in the eyes as your blade falls on his head. And as you hack away, he does not retreat, but simply talks to you about his regret for the things he did, and an understanding for your actions. He talks about disappointment that he didn’t get to make up for his crimes. And as you strike the killing blow, he whispers his final words: “Sky Above, Voice Within. Goodbye, Dovahkiin.”
NO! FUCK NO!! T^T
I'm actually crying
It usually takes a lot to make me cry, but this.... if he were to really do this.... just thinking about it breaks my heart. I can't raise my sword against him WITHOUT saying that. It would be impossible if he said and did that. You just made me cry.... I don't know whether to congratulate you or kick your butt for being so cruel. 😭😭😭

If I'm not mistaken, it was Paarthurnax that first taught mortals how to use the voice, and he was the first dragon to openly defy Alduin's lordship. He did a lot more than "community service" with that.
More? That's way less! Especially considering he can live for thousands of years!
I could never kill Paarthurnax. Heck, I am Dragonborn, Blades are supposed to serve me, not the other way around. I would never kill one of my own kind that helped save Tamriel multiple times and taught first warriors how to use Thuum. Screw Blades, if they want Paarthurnax, they have to get through me.
There is a MOD that allows you to make the Blades follow your lead when you chose not to kill Paarthurnax.
@@Aynot4 tbh that's how it should be in vanilla too.
I mean. The blades are the dragon slayers and serve the ultimate dragon slayer. The player is friends with a dragon. So I kinda understand it.
@@sakuraflower640 Well Isran wants to wipe out the vampire crisis but he's not about to kill Serana after she helped them.
I agree Red Wyvern Emperor. You are absolutely right. Very logical answer too. I like your Moral Compass.
Graenolf to tell you the truth I'd kill Delphine over Paarthurnax any day
Yes Delphine is a bitch
Grim reaper I would try that but.....I LOST MY SKYRIM DISC!!!!!! *cries so sad*
Grim reaper true.
Skeptical Eye yeah I never really liked Delphine anyways. Her strength in battle turns me on but other than that she is just a bitch who only cares about what is important to her. Paarthurnax cares about to future of both dragons and humans. He wants both to be kind of like shield brothers if you ask me.
you can 'not to killing paarthurnax' . just go straight on alduin quest and ignore the 'kill paarthurnax' quest. after you defeated alduin, the quest will gone. and of course, paarthurnax still alive.
(sorry if i made a mistake in my english)

I'm an honorable member of the companions, so...
I already worship the daedra Hircine and when I transform into a werewolf I eat people anyways.
*_LET'S HAVE SOME DINNER_*
...who are werewolves that feed on humans anyway so...?
Somehow I never realized that the Companions questline is a daedric questline.
exactly!!!
I was a bosmer so it suited my character too for.... different reasons 😳
I was waiting for the “... cuz DAMN this dragon’s hot!” joke at the end of the part about Parthunaax. XD
Paarthurnax wasn't a hard decision , who cares if he killed 10-10.000 people, in probably less than a year ingame time I myself sacrificed a companion, ate a priest, ate the people who told me to eat the priest, killed a priestess for the black star, killed a museum owner, about 1000 Bandits, the emperor etc
so why blame him for crimes he did hundreds of years ago ...
I absolutely agree with you!
Plox I laughed so hard when you said, "ate a priest. Ate the people who told me to eat a preist."
I did that too that one time :D my carecter was ever-hungry murder on legs.
In tabletop RPG terms a "murder hobo"

Hardest decision: Whether to lie for Faendal or Sven...
Tell the girl that they're both lieing to her.
StitchVIIIVI That... That's an option!?
StitchVIIIVI WAIT I didn't know that, is that a real option
Master Chief I believe so, you have to pickpocket the letters off of them and then you can show both to her. Never done it though, just read it off of the wiki.
Ive assassinated both.
i'd sooner tell the thalmor where the blades were hiding before killing paarthurnax tbqh.
At the Embassy Party:
Elenwen: Ah, yes - I remember your name from the guest list.
Dovahkiin: Delphine and Esbern are in Sky Haven Temple. You're welcome.
Elenwen: I guess this wasteland has some redeeming qualities after all! 😊
Hey, I drew this stick fig...
Graenolf: DAMNTHISCHICKISHOT!!
I would never kill Paarthurnax. He was my favorite character immediately when I met him and his actions are justified.
Yeah, Paarthurnax is awesome!
I said that once but then I met Cicero
Plus it's the voice of Mario, and i can't kill my main man
Noah R same
I like to think that Paarthurnax would make a great dad or grandpa if dragons could have kids. He seems to have the patience and caring personality for either roll! :)
With Parthurnaax, the decision becomes far easier once you realise that Delphine is trying to manipulate the dragonborn into doing what she wants.
The Blades are sworn to serve the dragonborn and if the dragonborn thinks its okay to keep Big Old Dragon Master around, the Blades need to shut their faces and watch.
Wali Adeeb Delphine just pretty much became Astrid
Wali Adeeb truth
My thoughts exactly. She is always trying to manipulate the Dragonborn.
Delphine isn't manipulating anyone. She is straightforward about what she wants from him. Trying to persuade and manipulating aren't the same thing, you know.
Also, the Blades aren't compelled to blindly obey a delusional Dragonborn. They learned to rely on their own judgment in the time where there was no Dragonborn to lead them.
How about Parthurnaax himself? It's very much possible that he's simply manipulating the Dragonborn, his deadliest rival, to get rid of his second deadliest, Alduin. As soon as the Dragonborn dies of old age, he has no more significant rivals and the Dragons are free to subjugate all races of Tamriel under Parthurnaax' rule.
The only evidence that his intentions are noble is his *word* and that of the Greybeards. His *actions* in the past and the *nature of dragons* in general suggest otherwise and support the Blades' position.
Stryfe564 ya... parthurnax sat on that mountain for thousands of years keeping watch for Alduin so he could betray the dragonborn.... also parthurnax never asked you for any help you asked him all he requested from you was to talk with him a little then you got delphine the one that made you go through hoops to prove your dragonborn then makes you break into a embassy owned by her enemy not your enemy hers oo then makes you save her companion then she tells you to kill the only person who asked nothing of you and helped you more then she did or she would have nothing to do with you. ...... ya... I'll take my chances with Alduin over delphine at least he's honest
I always prusade Saadia into paying me first and then turn her in anyway that way I win and get double pay

@@luckport8903 I think that's what I did, pretty sure saadia still hated me for initially lying to her tho 🤷♀️
For “With Friends Like These,” if you cast clairvoyance towards the captives it’ll show you who you’re supposed to kill.

You actually kill Astrid, not the captives. If you do she will tell you “well done.”

Reasons not to kill Cicero:
1) If you spare him, he can be a follower, who CANNOT die.
2) His commentary is bloody funny at times. (When in Markarth, he shouts: "Cicero saw a dwarf! He did! He did! Oh, no. Sorry. No dwarf...") He definitely brightens up dungeons and creepy places in my opinion.
3) Cicero is the most loyal Brother to date. After everyone in the Dark Brotherhood left Cicero stayed with the Night Mother for EIGHT years.
4) Sithis loves him, so he won’t be happy if you kill him. He’s kept every secret for so long, and again, he’s very loyal. (Lucien even says, “The Dread Father does not wish for Cicero to be killed.”)
5) He never actually tries to kill anyone else from the dark brotherhood, even though he makes a joke about it when you return to the new sanctuary at Dawnstar.
6) If you do spare him but you lie to the rest of the Brotherhood no one can see him (they don’t react) when you bring him back to the Dawnstar sanctuary.
7) He's actually an amazing fighter and can take people down really quickly. He can use staffs, blades, shields, war hammers, etc.
8) Astrid is a b*tch to you, you will soon find out.
9) When he is your follower, almost every time you turn around he will be standing about 3 cm from your face and say "LET'S KILL SOMEONE"
10) He is an absolute beast if you have him dual wielding. Sometimes i wonder why my character is so special after seeing him tear through enemies
Shot him in the face with an arrow. Then I revived him to cut his bloody head off.
Alix i killed him but really regreted it after reading his journals
Who's astrid? The girl I killed in the cabin?
Actually, they do see him in Dawnstar Sanctuary, they just don't care. The redguard guy (I forget his name for some reason) talks about his annoying dancing sometimes.

I know these Skyrim vids are 5 years old at this point, but I just love the way you present them. You don't just say what the thing is, it's like you're telling a story. It's delightful.
Facts
Cicero doesn't deserve to die he's one of the best and unique followers
🧢
Plus he was in the right to try to kill Astrid. She betrayed the brotherhood by breaking the tenets and so I saved Cicero. Astrid just wants to lead the brotherhood her way and ignore the night mother.
Honestly that was easy for me. Like, if you where Batman, would you kill joker? I hardly doubt anyone has a willpower equal to his.
I cared about Cicero because he was my Brother. I didn't kill him, because he was simply living up to the tenets that Astrid had broken. And she had broken almost all of them. Just breaking one will make you face the Wrath of Sithis. I feel no pity for Astrid. She insulted our Night Mother and no longer followed the tenets left to us by our Dread Father. She deserves her fate. And Cicero did no wrong. Astrid didn't deserve to be Matron of the sanctuary. She believed she was above us, the Listener. And even worse, she believed she was above the Night Mother. Our Unholy Matron. According to the order of control for the Dark Brotherhood, she isn't even above Cicero, as Keeper. Lucien Lachance sees this, as well. And tells you that we shouldn't kill him.
... I can only hope to serve Sithis like Lucien does, even after death. And such a cruel and sad death our Brother had...
Hail our Dread Father, the Void, Sithis! Hail our Unholy Matron, the Night Mother! Hail the Dark Brotherhood!
4000+ hours of skyrim and i have never killed Paarthunax

Me either. Every time I say to myself that "this is the time I kill Paarthuurnax and do the Blades quests" and then I can't bring myself to actually do it! I charge dragons! I never back down! What do you mean that I have every shout unlocked... I still have 50 dragon souls left! Yet I can't bring myself to kill Big P.
I think it's because I question the Blades motives but not Paarthurnax'. We see eye to eye.
How do you put 4k hours into such a bland game? I'm struggling to even hit 200 with over 150 mods.

is he not
He really should have. It would've tied the video off nicely. And I know I'm months behind the show.
I did
I got attacked by the Thalmor later in the game, I never figured out why, though. This now makes a lot of sense seeing as I have done literally NOTHING ELSE that could've irritated them.
I found it so funny because my character hates the Thalmor for killing her parents 😂
I mean, if you completed the main quest "Diplomatic Immunity", they'd have plenty reason. You stole vital information and killed at least two guards, if not nearly all of them. There's also the fact that you're dragonborn, and your very existence strengthens the human races' faith in Talos (the very thing they want to wipe out), given that Tiber Septim was also dragonborn. Tbh, I don't think Saadia has anything to do with the Thalmor coming after you. I had that happen in my game too, and I killed Kematu.
The Thalmor keep coming after me and I never finished Sadias storyline because I couldn’t make up my mind lol

He keeps pestering the pilot to do barrel roll.
Unlike the murderer in the allegory Paarthurnax was not caught and punished with community service. He instead overcame the most base nature of his entire species and chose to make amends of his own free will. And he has been doing this for far more than just the lifetime of the current Blades or the Dragonborn but ever since the Merethic Era, meaning long before Skyrim was actually called Skyrim, before the Blades were a thing, hell before the Empire and 90% of the lore we know were a thing. If you kill him at this point you are not bringing back the many people he killed and undoing his atrocities. You are however undoing all the good he would have done by teaching man and mer to protect themselves and teaching Dragons to live alongside them.
And even if someone were to claim that Paarthurnax is really some evil mastermind that might turn on everyone after getting all those dragons under his control it wouldn't make any sense. After all it's not like he could become a new Alduin, even if he did become the new head honcho of the dragons. The only dragon that could bring him back if he died is now dead and he helped you do that, and you know the Dragonrend shout designed to kill dragons, which he helped you learn. Not only that, the Dragon War ended in the creation of Dragonrend and Alduins banishment and even gave man and mer a fighting chance in the current day because he betrayed Alduin at a time when it would have been considered suicide to do so. Considering dragons are terrified of the concept of mortality because it was never something they had to fathom it would make no sense for him to give the dragonborn the tools needed to kill him and then turn against him.
Ledge Buoy
If i have a kid who ends up killing Paarthurnax, I will actually ground him

Ramona Rize yes, shouting always works. Cuz it's fine to blast them into nothingness.
Depends on how much you value one of the rare arrows to pick up.
The hardest decision is to figure out the most painful and excruciating death for Delphine.
God I kept Cicero alive mostly because I read all volumes of his journal and I just felt so bad for him. He used to be a dedicated non-insane assassin until he became keeper when he was corrupted by Sithis and the 'laughter' that would follow him. Poor bloke.
5: Eat the dude for daedric completion, also if you're a vampire it's not out of the norm.
4: There's more evidence for Kematu's side, the game devs made this quest to see if the player would fall for a pretty face.
3: Kill them all, they all have a contract on them, it makes the most sense based on how the DB operate.
2: Don't kill Cicero, he's a traditionalist, never seen someone so faithful to his job. Also, fuck messing with Sithis' will.
1: Never kill Paarthrunax, you monster. He's done so much for mankind and deserves to live, also, the blades aren't what they once were, they're arseholes, fuck 'em.
Toby Sweetman Filthy Canibal
Also Cicero is (in my opinion) the best assasin class follower in the whole game.
Toby Sweetman there isnt enough evidence on kematu to completely disprove saadia's side
There's nothing wrong with it if you're argonian or kajhiit.
Toby Sweetman I couldn't get myself to kill fulthim
In my many years of decision making, never have I had a greater regret then when I killed Paarthunax. There should’ve been a quest to kill the blades I wouldn’t mind that
The quest went away when I spoke to the Grey beards about it. Like the dialogue will pop up saying that the blades want me to kill him. One of the Grey beards says something I forget but then another dialogue pops up saying I'm not going to kill him and it went away for me.

I always keep Cicero alive, because since Astrid is a traitor, it is likely that she was slandering the Night Mother and he had gotten tired of it. Since he knew she was a traitor from the start, his actions, while drastic, can be justified depending on whether or not you actually have played through it before and know that Astrid will betray you. He's also kind of an immortal follower and he actually is very good at sneaking because of his history with the Dark Brotherhood and years of training.
I saved Saadia, killed Cicero, and didn't kill paarthurnax.
I couldn't bring myself to kill the dragon who's willing to help me. Screw the blades trying to make me become their puppet
I betrayed Saadia, spared Cicero, but there ain't no way in hell I'd ever kill Paarthurnax.
Why on earth would you kill Cicero? He is as essential as a keeper like listener is. And night mother was very fond of him. On top of all that he was absolutely right about Astrid.
Sadia aswell, you got fooled by the fact she's a girl, and a hot one.
Paarthunax is the only sane decision you made.
I turned Saadia in, lied to Astrid about Cicero, and regularly visit the good boy Paarthurnax
Why kill Cicero:( he is one of the only og members that’s been in the brotherhood longer than the others
How is killing a beast that’s murdered hundreds making you a puppet?
I lost myself when you say "damn this chick hot" to night mother LOL
Kerem Çelik only reason I don't like this was because you had EXACTLY...111 like. My OCD thanks you!
Very funny
Shes hot!
If your into dead mummified ladys that are worshipped by crazy jestures
I killed parthunax once, I wanted to see what happens immidiatly felt too much guilt and regretted it, I quickly reloaded my save and said never again
Dude, I killed parthunax because I thought you HAD to kill him to progress, I didn't know there was a choice. :(
Keshaire!!! R. I. P
Keshaire!!! Monster
beckoning beast Did you not read my comment?
Keshaire!!! I did, the dude who called u a monster is a idiot, should you have known would u have killed parthunax?
You forgot:
Being a stealth archer or playing something else and being a stealth archer in the late game.
“Astrid is hot”
No, no. Not yet. Give it a few quests and she will be, though.
Medium rare one would say...
*Graenolf, talking about Astrid* DAYUM THIS CHICK IS HOT.
Yes, she is. Literally speaking
Oooooh, burned!
EvilDylan *charred lol
Variklis Woods lol
Not cool man. I felt like crying, I really liked Astrid. Although she did try to kill me and got everyone killed instead. I still liked her.
too soon!!!!!
the hardest decision i found is whether or not to kill Madanach and his men in the Cidna Mine during the Forsworn conspiracy questline. The Forsworn are known murderers and raiders, and if you help them escape the Mine they will leave a path of bloodshed through the city of Markarth. However, while talking to all the forsworn prisoners is the mine you learn of the horrors and the hardships they've experienced thanks to the Bear of Markarth and the Silverblood Family. It's like you're damned if you don't but you're damned if you do. Instead of a clear right and wrong, there are all sorts of shades of gray in this decision, and you have to weigh the choice based on your own values what the correct action should be.
OpenWorldAddict I can’t believe this doesn’t have more likes. This was my hardest quest too. I just wanted to save the people who were wrongly imprisoned and give them a chance to see their families again. As soon as we left the mine, I dumped the forsworn armor and now I just don’t go back to Markarth
@@c.m.880 It would have been one of the best quest-lines in the game if the decision you made had actual consequences in the game. It would have been fantastic if you had been declared a criminal for having helped the forsworn escape the mine due to the trail of bloodshed they left as they went through the city,. They really messed up on this.
OpenWorldAddict occasionally NPCs will say something along the lines of “didn’t I see you escaping the mine with those forsworn?” or something like that but otherwise there’s no consequences. Which is pretty much the biggest problem with the game. I would’ve loved for you actions to change the world around you. Not to the extent of like butterfly effect stuff but you know, Id like *someone* to acknowledge that I saved the world idk. I’ll still keep playing though 😂
I always kill Madanach because fuck the Forsworn, they always attack me on sight anyway plus I want that Silver Blood money
Idk the city is the most corrupt of all in the game. Seeps evil from every crack in the cities concrete walls. Let some people have revenge on corruption. As dragonborn giving a voice to the little man is much better than some little golden coin that has no real value. Plus gold is the most looted item in the game so if a player fails at obtaining a fortune they might want to go back to kindergarten and start counting their plastic pennies. The worthless septims are found everywhere and finishing the main story with at least 50k in pocket is common among well established dragonborn.
“If you ever considered killing Paarthurnax your dead to me”
On the Dark Brotherhood opening, I couldn't decide who it was so I just killed them all
Was disappointed because you did not mention how handsome Paarthurnax is since " DAMN THIS DRAGON´S HOT!!!!"
With the "In my Time of Need" quest, I originally sided with Saadia and paid to get the warrior out of prison and went to the cave to kill Kematu then I went with his plot to lure Saadia out of Whiterun to be captured. Then after I got my reward and such, I slit Kematu's throat and then Saadia got up and I killed her too. It was a good day.
Sienna Christine or u can get saadia to reward u as well then kill her....
lol
Daniel Sailo damn my friend that's a good idea. I'll do that lmfao
this comment really makes me want to do a "doublecross and kill both parties as much as possible" run, lmao
Sienna Christine Damn that chick is hot
With friends like these
Me always: Kills all three
Also me: I've never talked to them
I like to fire shout them. Nothing like incinaration in the morning
I've seen the thalmore hit squad on a character that had never dealt with any thalmor or ever met saadia.
To drink the skooma, or to not drink the skooma? That is the question...
...I drank the skooma.
Barbara Punkelman DAMN THAT SKOOMAS HOT
Seb Sundquist *Damn it, Barb. ❤
Try Red-Water Skooma, lol
Don't question, skooma is the answer!!
Skyrim noob here (with 120hours). What happens if you drink skooma? And you're not a kahjit?
#1 isn't that hard of a decision for me. I can never bring myself to kill Parthunaax.
Dimitri Tebow I couldn't either
Agreed, I like Parthunaax far too much to kill him, I did it once, and I felt horrible about it, screw the Blades, only two of them still alive anyways, Delphine is a condescending, self-important bitch and Esbern is just plain paranoid.
Dimitri Tebow Killed him on my old account...I regretted it instantly
Me too... murder an ancient speaking dragon master who is nice to me, to hang out with an anoying Breton gal?? If I could, I'd kill Delphine just for suggesting to slay my scaly friend...
I accidentally killed Parthunaax.
I had some broken water pipes in my house and called a certified plumber to fix it.
I waited for him to come, expecting a short Italian man with a mustache, but what I got was a fire breathing Dragon.
5 - Kill and eat Brother Verulus, Eola can be used as a follower and it's the only way to get the daedric artifact Ring of Namira.
4 - Side with the Alik'r, then in the Whiterun Stables after Saadia's been paralyzed, kill Kematu. If you have the Disintegrate perk in Destruction, you can't use Shock spells otherwise Saadia will vanish due to Kematu's turning into ashes. It will cause Saadia to become hostile, use Calm spell on her and talk with her, completing the quest like if you sided with her.
3 - Whoever you want, just don't kill Astrid, DB questline gives you a lot of gold.
2 - Spare Cicero, he'll be a follower later on and Astrid will never find out, she'll betray you anyways (spoiler alert)
1 - *Don't you fucking dare to kill Paarthurnax use console commands to get the mission done, don't complete the mission, kill the blades (not possible btw), rape a bear, do whatever you want just don't kill him*
Cicero is awesome has a massive carrying weight and is super deadly against foes. (Once you gain him as a follower he's actually taller to keep up with you too)
People who chose to kill pasthurnax probably also chose Sven over Faendal tbh
that makes no sense...
Eric Sanchez Because sven is just a companion were as Faendal wither you use them or not you can get free archery levels
Eric Sanchez it makes sense because they are both terrible choices
To not kill Paarthurnax was an easy conclusion to come to. The greybeard dude (arngeir or some shit) explains it really well. and yes i know he is biased but the blades are just bloodthirsty fkers lets be real. So Arngeir said that when Paarthurnax served alduin is was literally the only way...its what all dragons did it didn't even seem to be a choice. So when good old Paarthy told alduin to go fk himself he is rebelling against his very nature which is some mad shit (that would be like me turning down a pie not gonna happen) so while yeah he did terrible stuff that shit was war and he was on the side his nature compelled him to be...i'm sure humans did some fked up shit to but hey you don't see paarthurnax saying kill delphine she murdered my uncles sisters nephew or some shit.
agreed
I mean to be honest the morally correct decision is not to kill Paarthurnax. Paarthurnax being alive means he's converting dragons to the Way of the Voice. If he didn't convert those dragons, they would almost certainly go on to kill some people. It doesn't matter what happened in the past, what happened in the past already happened. If you kill Paarthurnax you will cause the deaths of more innocents than if you spare him, so sparing him is an easy choice to make.
Okay
+Rammus Yeah it's an easy decision. I even installed the High King of Skyrim mod so I could kill the Blades.
Parthunax MIGHT TRY to sway other Dragons to the Way of the Voice, or he might change his mind, or they might not listen. Parthanax could command the remaining dragons to kill every last mortal, just because he hasn't doesn't mean he won't.
Vasha says that he’s the “defiler of daughters” implying *[naughty word]* so uh...
_M u r d e r_
Murder both him and Astrid
Parthanax didnt have a choice he was under Alduins control hes innocent!!!!!!!!
I always just kill saudia lmao then I go steal the redguards swords. Have you seen those curved swords from hammerfall? They're curved
David Peters curved swords. Curved. Swords.
DAYUM THAT SWORD IS HOT
I installed minidress mod, so i will never kill saadia. Hehehe
I lured Saadia out to the Whiterun stables then killed the Redgaurd. Got curvy swords and gold 👌
You can just complete dark brotherhold questline and get the windshear probaly one of the of not the best sword in the game thats also curved
Never kill Paarthurnax.
The way punishments are supposed to work is to make people regret their crimes. In some cases people are put into prison just to protect others, but mostly to give them a new chance.
Paarthunax obviously used his chance to be a good guy, so no punishment needed. And in Alduins times ALL Dragons served Alduin. If he stood up against the others they would probably have killed him or something like this.
Pogostic09 this dragon committed crimes similar to Stalin and hitler (killing millions) u think ur idea of punishment would serve their crimes?
unlike hitler and stalin
he haven't killed anyone in centuries and overcome his born evilness
and hoping dragons to do same
he help dragonborn DEFEAT ALDUIN THAT COULD HAVE BEEN THE EXTINCT OF MANKIND
Paarthanax himself said dragons are not to be trusted. And Delphene makes a good point in that he betrayed Alduin, as that doesn't really make him any better, it makes him worse as a trusted ally.
A Son Rises, Are you saying that Paarthurnax in worse than Alduin for trying to prevent a mass genocide? Besides, it was mentioned that he wasn't just spending some time to right his wrongs, he chose to spend his whole LIFETIME to atone for his sins. How is he a bad guy?
@@spencer7762 he rebelled against Alduin though
There's a big difference between community service for 10 years and saving the entire universe
I thought he said "she banged you to protect her"
I was like: yeah that seems about right
damn that dragon was hot

badgerboi games
Oof
my kid has a pet mudcrab on skyrim lol
Yeah my kid has a skeever

Me: Well I slaughtered all three of them without listening.
She did say a line about being an over achiever.
Fun fact: with Astrid and the three captive if you use the clairvoyance spell while looking at the captives it will direct you to the correct target. If you use it while facing away, it will direct you to the door of the cabin.
Parthurnaax was a very easy choice for me. Yea obviously he used to do horrible things under Alduin but what choice did he have? If he disobeyed he would have likely been killed. And because he teamed up with Alduin he was able to betray him eventually, which lead to his defeat the first time. Then when Alduin comes back he once again helps the last dragonborn defeat him. HE SAVED THE WORLD TWICE!!! Whether that justifies his former actions or not (which it sure as shit does), he may very well be an instrumental part in helping Tamriel in the next crisis. So what, we should kill him because these 2 Blades are butt hurt about him killing people in the past when he was basically forced to do so? Fuck that! Also, when the fuck did the dragonborn take orders from Blades? They are sworn to serve me I don't serve them.
so do I kill the blades
if Alduin were to somehow return in the future, there needs to be a Parthurnaax around to assist the next Dovahkin
It’s kinda far fetched but I look at parthurnax as hitler he killed probably millions u can just let him get away with it
Spen Cer killing someone will not undo their crimes. If you think ahead there's no reason to kill him even if you don't forgive him
1) Killing Paarthurnax makes the Greybeards hate you.
2) The Blades are in the worst state of Skyrim's guilds, and are just spiteful.
3) If you want an entourage of warriors, the Companions are available.
Nah, Paathurnax wasn't a hard decision at all. The Blades are only reduced to a group that seeks revenge and the eradication of all dragons, not coexistance. Instead Paathurnax devoted himself into "overcoming his evil nature through great effort" (which is reaally hard for a dragon) and also tries to do the same with the other dragons. I'm sure they'll have some problrms, some dragons could have their own plans for revenge against the humans, or they could just lose interest or something, but the quick way isn't always the correct. The Greybeards didn't accept Paathurnax as their leader only because he is a dragon ,thus master of the voice. They accepted him because even though he is a spawn of Akatosh, he tries to embrace the Way of the Voice , meaning he tries to embrace Kynareth and be peaceful. It's directly opposing to his nature. Also, let's not forget that when you don't kill Paathurnax the Blades break their vows to you and pledge their life to hunting down the dragons. So, no. I'll choose a giant human-loving dragon instead of some dragon-hating humans
Achievement Unlocked:Went Full Retar d
I'd kill the blades and then theres no problem atall nobody will ever know they were gone the blade sanctuary would be all mine forever and parthannax and his friends will be safe
Well, killing the Blades isn't the answer either. It only makes you a murderer, and being Dragonborn doesn't justify that. Although, if it came to it, I would probably do the same. I think the blades shold exist as a diminishing factor, if for example one dragon decides to go rogue, and Paathurnax can't do anything, then they should hunt the dragon down and kill him, before he starts attacking people.
Yep, Parthunax made this whole mess happen to begin with. Am I the only one that sees that opening the time wound is what released Alduin to begin with. Parthunax, lonely as he was, did all this to get his brethren back. F Parthunax, he may be all peaceable now, being the only dragon he would have been hunted down long ago if he wasn't, but with his brothers back that could all easily change
evidence? do you have that Ben?
The time rip wasn't broken or anything by Paathurnax. Paathurnax wanted to stop Alduin. That's the reason why he remained at the Throat of the World , because that's where the time rip occured,so that's where Alduin would come out of eventually. But when Alduin came out , he failed to stop him, then Alduin started resurrecting the dragons. He may be suggesting that Paathurnax didn't really try to stop him because he wanted to see his fellow brethren resurrected.
Nice call out to the voice actor for paarthurnax
If you wanna play the Blades Quest, get the Dilemma of Paarthurnax mod lets you play the quest without killing paarthurnax.
And who would kill Paarthy, lets be honest
Late but I'll say psychopaths
@@sataniccereal *Sane people
My hardest decision was telling Narfi that his sister died or that she is going to come back someday.. ;-;
Skytriqqer oh man I got contracted to kill Narfi like right after I helped him and I felt so damn bad
Yeah me too! That was so terrible and I'm still feeling bad for doing that D:
Me too!!! I don't even go to Ivarstead now because I feel so bad xD
Yeah same! I can't go there anymore anyways, so many people witnessed me killing him lmao
The question is: which asshole prayed and gave a contract to kill him!?
Simple, really:
1. Eat the priest, what good is he, you get an artifact that counts towards an achievement
2. Save Saadia, I don't buy into Kematu's story and Saadia seems pleasant enough.
3. All three prisoners are asswipes, just Fus Ro Dah them all to oblivion.
4. The only benefit to killing Cicero would be to get his armor set, but you can pickpocket those off of him with the correct perks, so that doesn't do anything. However, with the Keeper dead, there is nobody to tend to the night mother. We can't have that, so, keep him alive. He'll also become available as a pretty strong follower later on (though he does remain as annoying as ever).
5. Why would I want to kill Paarthunax? Props to the blades for stomping out evil dragons, but, jeez, this dragon turned his life around, ignored his own instincts and started working with humans to fight the evil of Alduin. And besides, the blades are sworn to follow the dragonborn, not the other way around. Just who does Esbern think he is, ordering the dragonborn around. Know thy place, you maggot!
morfanaion bro your character is a maggot if he eats dead people tf
Its also likely that Saadia is guilty.
I agree will all of these except, what other ways are there to get his outfit?
namira ring is not part of achievement
Watch Camelworks video about Saadia, it shows that she's lying.
I never knew lachance thought killing cicero would piss off sithis. That’s a deal breaker. He’s called the void and the dread lord. That’s a no, I don’t like the thought of having him pissed
I did the one where with “sadia” and I told her I would help her then told the dudes where she was
I ate the priest, saved Saadia, killed all three prisoners, let Cicero live, and I refuse to kill Paarthinax. I've also done reverse play thrus. And mixed it up playing ultimate good and ultimate evil play thrus... Wow I've played this game too much.
'played'? As in, stopped playing? What's wrong?
bastiaan0741 yes. I've put like 500 hours into this game and it's DLCs on several play throughs. There's only so many different ways to play the game.
All kidding aside, I'm at my 15th or so playthrough, having reinstalled the vanilla game for symbolic reasons, and am just levelling to get the ebony warrior one last time for ultimate closure. It's been great, but yeah, I milked the game to death myself.
Madison Lewis-Bennett I killed the cannibals, let Saadia be taken for selling her country out, killed Astrid, i would let Cicero live if I didnt kill Astrid, and didnt kill Paarthinax.
what ate the priest? i think i forgot that part coz it's already 2 years ago....
#SavePaathurnax comment this if you agree
'Cause DAMN his breath is hot!
shana Alexander Paarthurnax might have killed a lot of people I'm not gonna deny that but if it kyne and Paarthurnax didn't help teaching men the thuume we would probably be slaves to dragons by now
Also ain't it a bit hypocritical to take a quick break from slaughtering the people of Skyrim to chastise a dragon for killing people?
I mean, you could actually walk away from bandits, forsworn, etc. They give you a chance, but how often do you. I mean c'mon.
Paarthurnax helped me. Enough reason for me to let him live.
more like #SpareOldParthy
lol when I traveled I was so bored I randomly watched this guys videos at like 4 am and it got me into fallout and Skyrim
I went from "Huh? Kill Paarthurnax? Yea, sure, I'll get around to it." (and never getting around to it for like 8 straight playthroughs) to wondering why I was taking orders from the Blades at all, finding that they had _long_ outlived their usefulness to me and my let's-fight-dragons-that-are-actually-attacking-people ways.
Pfft number 1 wasn't a hard choice at all. Not even my most evil malicious twisted character can kill Paarthurnax. He's my dude. Good video btw.
6:56 She's even hotter in the end of the Dark Brotherhood quest ;)
YES
Daniyal Aftab She was scorching hot ;3
Daniyal Aftab What do you guys mean? tell me please, I killed tge whole brotherhood.
Noisy Empire I don't want to spoil it ;)
Noisy Empire the brotherhood gets burned down cuz she betrayed them and the empire found them
It's not a spoiler cuz u aren't doing the quest line
I always hear that the Redguards might be the bad guys because you can find Saadia's burial urn... what if she was rightfully sentenced to death? Literally the first thing we get to see in Skyrim is how easily you can be executed, hell, we weren't even on the list!
Edit: On Paarthurnax - If u take a murderer who killed 10 people and then, years later, he rushes to help you stop a different murderer who's going to kill thousands, without ANYONE telling him / sentencing him to do so, even trying to convince other "natural murderers" that their actions are wrong, that actually makes up for his crimes imho. btw, isn't it JUST Alduin who has to have the Dovahkiin kill him? Couldn't the lazy-ass blades take care of Paarthurnax themselves?
Before I started playing Skyrim, I watched a lot of videos in order to experience the game and familiarize myself with it.
I initially thought that the choice to kill Paarthurnax was a “one or the other” choice type quest. And I was incredibly surprised at the fact that it was a scripted quest with no alternative other than not completing the quest.
This made me absolutely disgusted at the thought of killing Paarthurnax. And I finally understood why it was considered such an atrocity by the fandom because you have to make a conscious decision to do so.
If it was a choice type quest I’d understand if more people were willing to kill him whether for the story purposes or maybe a reward.
But as it stands that quest will remain forever incomplete within my log. The Blades will stay in their stone hole with only themselves to keep company.
And I will continue to consider any Dovakhiin who went through with the action of killing one of my dragon brothers, as Dragon Kin no more.
