Skyrim: 5 Most Evil Things You Can Do and May Have Missed in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim

- Skyrim is a game that offers the player an abundance of decisions to make that often times have considerable consequences. Most of the choices offered in The Elder Scrolls 5 are rather morally ambiguous, with no clearly defined “right” or “wrong” answer. However, a handful of the options we’re given in Skyrim are downright evil. So today we’ll be taking a look at five evil choices you may have missed in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.

I stole 1 sweetroll. got caught, told the gaurds I'd rather die, and now I'm a mass murderer who's wiped out 7 cities already. Things escalated pretty quickly...
LMFAO 😂🤣
But if you were TRULY evil, you would have crushed Faendal's heart by marrying his love. Yeah, I think this top 5 list is pretty tame compared to the WANTON RAMPAGE you can revel in at any time and messed up shit the daedric princes make you do.
All I did was did today a fucking chicken, it isn't dead and I killed almost everyone(including Lydia, fucking bitch)
Danm son! Over a sweetroll

I helped faendal, married Camilla, then sacrificed him to Boethia.
Been Green dude my sacrifice to Boethiah is always either Faendal or Sven whichever I helped cause they’re useless once you get to Whiterun and can get like Lydia or Uthegard or Jenessa (provided you have 500 gold that is)
Well I once entered an ork village while having the call of boethia quest active. Fortunaly for me there was an ork having an argument with the others because he wanted to leave the fortress and explore the world. I was so kind that I encouraged him to follow his dreams and follow me. Then I obviously sacrificed him to boethia

#1 not buying flowers from Sophie
Yes, I sell her all my food. Like 50 septums worth, for her 17 then buy everything she has so she has food AND money. I would have adopted her if I hadn't had children already.
I end up adopting her and another girl roaming around Whiterun. They both ended up with pet bunny rabbits when I moved to the house near Falkfreath.

My own funny experience with Faendal:
In the beginning I chose to help him with Camilla, but later married Camilla myself, totally forgetting the whole Lovely Letter quest. But even though he would say mean things when he saw me, I could still make him my follower. Which I never did. But I noticed he started to pop up randomly, like at my homesteads or cities or even dungeon entrances. So I fast-traveled to Labyrinthian one day, and guess who was there? FAENDAL. And he ran off the fight the trolls and of course ended up getting himself killed. I thought it was funny, but just went about my business. So a bit later I fast-traveled home, and a courier gave me a letter of inheritance. From who, you ask? Faendal! I guess we had a weird relationship
Cool story bro ^-^
In my case, I married Camilla without ever talking to Faendal or the bard. I didn't even know their rivalry existed... until Faendal showed up in my home, telling me to give her the forged letter. So in context, Faendal comes off as being SUCH a petty bastard that he wants to destroy my wife's friendships. Needless to say, I told her all about it, and he got super-pissed at me.
He never attacked me, though. He'd just occasionally show up and be passive aggressive at me.
the letter of inheritance is a weird thing that happen sometime, i was doing a vamp quest were i had to kill somebody, so i actually get the person to follow me, screw that person trough sex mod and then killed her. then i get a letter of inheritance from a girl i have know for 5 minutes, screwed and killed. how bout that?
Lmao that's hilarious
Should've sacrificed him to Boethia.

You CAN tell Camilla that they are both dishonest. Got Faendral and talk to him, getting his fake letter. Go show it to Sven and he'll pen a fake letter. Now Pickpocket Sven and get Faendral's letter back. Now you can show both of them to her and she'll hate them both, freeing her affections for you to marry her.
I tried this, but for some reason it didn't work out for me; it allowed me to show her each letter individually, and she responded to each one, but whoever's letter I showed last was the one who got the shaft, and the other one was still happy with me afterwards. Not sure if a mod screwed that up or what. (I have a ton of mods installed.)

I once slaughtered an entire village. The game glitched and I was being attacked by 5 dragons at once. At one point I must have killed a villager's chicken by mistake. The Villagers started to attack me while I was battling the dragons. Shadowmere and I eventually defeated the 5 dragons and the entire village. The only people left standing were NPC's which cannot be killed. This is when it get's evil. I stripped all the clothes off the dead bodies and made a pile of them in the center of town.
this actually happened to me in Dawnstar, except I killed the innkeeper's daughter because her voice was terrible, and despite the fact that I was hidden, the innkeeper still tried to kill me every time I saw him so I killed him to get it over with, next thing I know there's maybe 20+ completely looted bodies in one room in a pile.
Lol my first time playing skyrim 😂 i was like ooh i like chicken so i killed it and the whole village attacked me. I also forgot to save...
@@joniet6396 Killing Villager's chickens are always great fun.
In another game glitch, I killed Adrianne Avenicci when I turned into a werewolf for the first time. After that, every time I went to the balcksmith shop in Whiterun, her stripped body could be found behind the counter inside her shop. It was just there, laying on the floor for about 30 hours of game play. No one seemed to care.
I stole a fruit, not even sure what one i pressed the wrong button in a menu -1 minute later, im standing in the middle of the market surrounding by corpses and fire, god I love this game :D

So, in one of my Skyrim playthroughs, I decided I really wanted to adopt Svari. Only, she's not an orphan... So my Dragonborn took matters into his own hands - killed both her mother and father and offered to take her in. I thought all was well until one day she made a comment about me killing her mama and papa. So, yeah...
Well that's dark
how come she talked about that in the first place?... what give her the hint?... is that just a 'moral' thing the dev put into it?... When you do good things in Skyrim on a normal day-to-day basis, but contradict yourself with killing and looting in between those good things.
That's what you call chaotic neutral lol
Personally I think that if you're fighting a dragon in a village and a chicken becomes collateral damage which resulted in the villagers attacking you, you have the right to kill them all, they're technically the evil ones for valuing a chicken more than they value the life of the guy that was trying to save them from a dragon.
To be fair about #4, going to Rorikstead, killing Lemkil and then adopting Sissel and leaving Britte to rot in Honorhall could actually be seen as a very good thing to do lol
@@andrewmatthews6263 let's be honest If you get a inheritance it's just the hood karma affect
Ive done that SO many times. Best part? Adopting her in front of the other sister and walking away lmao
Or if you want to be extremely evil... Kill Lemkil and adopt the evil twin.
Kaleb Riley
Killing Lemkil isn’t evil, adopting only Britte and then resurrect their father is the worst possibility out there
Number 1 should be killing Parthunax
In terms of theory, it's arguably not completely evil, because it may be implied that he was plotting to enslave and kill humans again. Once you killed Alduin, you see lots of dragons meeting with Paarthurnax. What are they doing there? Perhaps receiving plans from the former right-hand man of Alduin?
Even Paarthurnax stated that it is wise not to trust another dragon, for they were born to dominate and destroy, and even he feels the temptation to return to that state. While he claims to have overcome that great evil, what if he's deceiving you, the Dragonborn? By gaining your trust, he could just be waiting for you to die naturally since you're the only one capable of killing and stopping him.
But all in all, that's just theory. Maybe he really became enlightened. Even I choose to spare Paarthurnax simply because I like him more and hated Delphine's bossy attitude.
@@zhengwenyu1587 the other dragons were there to mourn for Alduin. Parthurnaax said it after you speak to him when returning from sovngarde
@@holdingoutforahero5250 or you know, they are there for Parthurnaax coronation as the heir for the dragon trone
Paarthurnax practiced seclusion and asceticism... a lifestyle that is notably devoid of killing, terrorizing, and eating lesser creatures.
TheAlmighty Blob Some argue that all of the death and destruction he wrought while serving Alduin is beyond atonement, and he deserves to die for his past sins. Personally, I don’t agree with this, but that is exactly why Nate used that very decision as an example of “morally grey”.
On my first play through, I killed Nilsine without much thought, I just didn’t pay attention to the names on the corpses of the murdered women, and never broke into the shatter shield home in such a way that I discovered her mothers body, now I just feel bad.
The Shatter-Shields are pretty scummy though.
"But I Digress..." For THAT quest, it's more like "But I DIGEST"!
Ayyyyyyyyy! 👉😄👉
Excuse me, killing that abusive jerk Lemkil in Rorikstead so that I can adopt his daughters is probably the noblest act in the game!
No kill nazeem is
Err..The sister is mean, so adopt the one that gets abused
You misspelled killing Nazeem
@@healthypizza1745 thank you for correcting me
How do they get abused?
That thing with the child adoption isn't necessarily evil in all cases. There's a family in Rorikstead: Lemkil and his two daughters - Britte and Sissel. I've always felt sorry for Sissel - Britte constantly bullies her, and their father hates them both. All the other villagers consider Lemkil a terrible person for treating his daughters the way he does. So in one of my playthroughs I killed Lemkil and adopted Sissel, so that she could live in a family that would give her the love she deserves. I let Britte stay in the orphanage for being a terrible sister, but she is still better off there than with the father who didn't care about her at all. I mean, I still had no right to pass judgement on that family this way, but I'm trying to say is - not every situation is as black and white as Nate would have you believe.
Enter a name here I think Nate meant overall.
I was coming here to mention that, in every playthrough, I make sure to make Lemkil "Disappear" so that Sissel could come with me. I even got a Children followers mod so she could be an adventurer like me
Siphon Cipher just don’t let her take an arrow to her knee.
I adopt them both almost every playthrough as a Nord!
Enter a name here Yeah I dont like that Sissel gets beaten by other people, I want to beat her myself
Bonus evil points: If you kill Nilsine, prompting Tova's death, after awhile, you'll hear the patriarch of Clan Shatter Shield wandering the streets drunkenly lamenting the loss of his daughters and wife. Not only did you drive his wife to suicide, but the whole ordeal's driven him to drown his sorrows in wine, meaning he'll likely drink himself into an early grave.
The only one I haven’t done is adopting a kid whose parents I killed, I can never bring myself to not run straight to Lucia and Sofie as soon as I’m able
You forgot that when you you complete the dark brotherhood quest line and get the 20 000 septum’s you can run away and never be seen again

Edit to add some things I just remembered:
I liked making a mess of Belethor's shop. I don't recall really doing it to anyone else, just him for some reason. I'd go in and shout everything off the shelves. I might have done it to the alchemist next door too, but mostly I just cleaned her shop out or went snooping around her house jacking things before she came sprinting over all suspicious-like.
And one time after vampires hit Whiterun, I saw a wine bottle rolling around on the sidewalk. Turned out to be Belethor's head.
I think the most evil thing you can do is do the Dawnguard DLC, convince Serana to cure her vampirism, have her trust you, and then you Fus Roh Da her off a mountain.
The worst thing you can do to Serana is use mods to marry her after she makes it expressly clear that she was raped by Molag Bol and hates going into temples, and never wants to be married.

To be fair, if you kill Lemkil in Rorikstead and adopt his girls you get a pass in my book. The way he treats his daughters are terrible.
Basically the same as killing Grelod imo
From what I saw he isn't evil, he's just a broken man who had to take care of 2 little girls for years alone working on his farm, no wonder he's bitter.
@@dwight3555 , dude, he actively beats his daughter, and actually encourages the player to do the same. Guy's an asshole.
yep, Lemkil is a monster. . . but to be fair. . . he does at least acknowledge their existence, and pays a little bit of attention to them...even if it is 100% negative. Poor Braith. . .Amren won't discuss certain topics with her, and her mother won't talk to her at all other than to yell at her to either go outside and play or read a book. It's done quite the number on the kid's psyche, causing her to be more violent and lash out at those around her. Perhaps a lonely female assassin should remove Saffir from the picture and take her place.....Amren and Braith deserve better.
He's a vile man but he's not evil. He beats his daughters and encourages you to do so as well but it is not without reason. How does that saying go "all gray clouds have a silver lining" his wife died in child birth and his daughters really do fuck all to help him. He blames his wife's death on them and in return he beats them. Its not evil its just cruellness commited by a broken man

add in "and they live happily ever after" if you need extra flair
And so to did their time come to pass
I've just recently found your RUclips. But because of one of your videos I found the best companion I could ever have. But currently on my old character who turned into a Vampire and is now my completely evil character. It's funny that he is also a Khajiit.
5 evil things and killing Parthurnax isn't on there...
Now that's evil!
"MURDERED TO DEATH" is going to be a quote I will have for the rest of my life. Its going as my quote for the end of high school😂
*Accidentally puts MURDERED TO DEATH in an exam*
Where did this "murdered to death" quote originally come from? :
@@MrHater-su9iz Nate simply uses it
I think Mr. Garrison's (As Trump) quote from South Park is best...
"I promise to FUCK them all to DEATH"

Careful. They might arrest you. After all we do live in an overly sensitive crybaby pussy society.
How about the ebony blade where you have to kill 10 companions to reach its full power?
People that trust you not just followers and with the powers of necromancy you need only kill one
A shame it's still a piece of trash at full power.
I killed my wife with that blade.
Michael Gleghorn use resuraction stone
You can charge it by killing members of dark brotherhood
Adopting a child whose parents you've killed can be a good person move, if they were evil or something, or maybe you're trying to atone for what you've done... But, yes, killing a child's parents FOR THE PURPOSE OF adopting them is, indeed, messed up.
I’m incapable of killing Cicero or Anoriath for the Dark Brotherhood. Anoriath (I think is how it’s spelled) is so nice and I like the conversations he has and exclaims of hunting. And I just really enjoy Cicero’s company
Kills both targets, marries Muiri, I see no issue here.
"kill their parents and raise their child as your own"
...so, the story of the force unleashed?
Exactly how it happened just give Vader a normal Sword and we're good to go.
When I got married to Camellia, Sven actually attended my wedding
Hahaha* this was a pretty cool video, I enjoyed it and learned a few things in the process*😁*
I recently did the quest with Orthorn and the books and I did set him free, but when I got to the Caller she didn't offer me the deal (I didn't even know that she will give you the deal until this video) so I ended up having to fight her, but sadly after the dust settled and I turned around I saw that Orthorn had fallen in this battle*😔* I even tried reloading the previous save to see if I could save him, but I kept getting the same result so I just accepted it cause after like the third time it started to feel like I was torturing the poor dude*🙊
#3 the jilted lover trying to kill you. that my friend is called an easter egg. Also the cannibal thing really isn't that bad, if you become a vampire it's not really cannibalism, and if you're a werewolf you eat people all the time. I'd say something far more evil is the magical way you go from being a vampire to mortal. Requiring a filled black soul gem the implication is clear, you send a mortal soul to the Soul Cairn to reclaim your own. If you have been to the Soul Cairn you know what you have condemned the unfortunate person to... if you used a person's soul.
But some people deserve such a fate
I never filled a single black soul gem. Not even the worst people deserve such fate. No crime is infinite, thus no punishment should be infinite.
@@Hachimaro In the soul cairn you can put a soul gem in a lightning attractor and it'll become a full black soul gem, I do believe. Or you can kill a Dremora (Daedra) and it still counts.
Does the black soul gem have to be filled with a person's soul though? It's been a while but I thought it just needed a great soul, not necessarily a person.
Assuming nothing changed from when I did it any grand soul works, but the soul gem has to be black. It's not necromancy if you use a white soul, but the implication of the ritual is that it's necromantic in nature. All that said it's implied white souls don't normally go to the soul cairn. Those that are there like the horse probably got there another way, or were daedric in nature.
you can also refuse orthorns help and just free him then when you meet the caller alone she will offer to let you take the books as long as you then quickly leave, which was my choice. after all the mess i had just inflicted on her followers it only seemed fair.
I think that option is a Persuasion option, so you need to have good Speech
What is the book good about? Skill point?
The Shatter-Shields are the punching bag of misfortune. Their family heirloom stolen, eldest daughter got murdered, second daughter got assassinated, mother committed suicide, and the father became a hopeless drunk.
TheEpicNate315: "Such a tragic violation of the bro code..."
Me: "So my everyday life, then?"
In one of my playthroughs I did exactly that with Camilla. I helped Faendal, but I decided to marry her and I enlisted Faendal with the blades and sent him away! And I love it when I did it!
I did the same. XD
I sacrificed him for the boethia quest
Sven in my opinion. If only Michael could be sacrificed to Boethia.
@@MrPenetroso I wish I could sacrifice Nazeem!
@@marcovchb Nazeem isn't worth it. However, if he was a follower, he would be good bait, seeing how condescending he is towards everyone.
There is still no worse sin in Skyrim than to kill or lose Meeko... I had to start my game over again when I found Meeko dead in some old location by spawning there using console X((((((
@Butt Monkey Just not the same, kinda cheapens his character. I just click on meeko and type "modav health 9999999999"
@@Tattle-by-Tale I'm definately trying this today! Hope, my Meeko will be always alive.
Thanx, Morrigan😉!
I took Meeko along but then killed him because he got annoying really fast. Not joking or trying to be edgy either.
@@undeniableluck1239 dogs in skyrim or animals in general are annoying as hell, they stop in the middle of hallways and lie down and you gotta fus ro dah their asses to get them out of the way, followers are similar but because they stand vertical it's less of nuisance. I had the mod that adds Grunt the bear as a follower and by the 9 I swear I fus ro dah'ed that mutha fucker so many times to get him out of my way while I was being assaulted by hoardes of drauger and bandits that it's a wonder the fuzzy bugger didn't try to kill me. Animals are adorable and sweet but goddamn are their AI is dumb sometimes.
I totally appreciate the content.i always knew some of these choices are messed up.ty for confirmation.
Always love your videos nate. Keep up the great content
Oh come on Nate, THE MOST EVIL decision IS, to NOT Murder Grelod to Death! She is HANDS DOWN the MOST EVIL person in Skyrim, there is NO bounty for Murdering her to Death! She is FAR worse than the Fark Brotherhood, or Maven, she was Alduin in human form....let the bards sing about that! :)
gtshawn I’m sorry BUT Nazeem and Braith are worse than her
@@laylaboyd6017 nope.
@@laylaboyd6017 Are you serious? Nazeem is a just a dick, Braith's parents are caught up with themselves, and if you listen to Braith, she ACTUALLY likes Lars, and children are children. Grelod, is just DOWNRIGHT EVIL, she denies children from being adopted, having a life.
Using console commands to give your character positive disposition with Nazeem
Then using the Ebony Blade on him.
Going to the cloud district often
Fus ro dah him from the greybeards place to give him a full experience of the cloud destrict
Being a completionist can be hard sometimes; Muiri gives that special ring ONLY if Nilsine lies dead.
And that ring is special.
I must be evil. I have done all of these in nearly every game I play.
"Join the dark side, we have more fun! There are also the cookies!!"
Kill an ex cultist turned priest trying to redeem himself by destroying a staff that was literally eating the dreams of an entire city. Even if you do the quest the staff really isn't that useful.
Yeah, which is why I never get Vaerminas Staff.
Erandur is cool imo.
You must be in the Anti-Paarthunax Club, too.
I've done the quest with the love triangle between Faendal, Sven and Camilla
Though I can't say I've done the one between Fayendell, Savenn and Cameela
05:27 "What's evil in eating good meat?" Said by random Bosmer in Valenwood, funny thing is when Werewolves kill and eat meat it's bad, when NAmira followers kill and eat meat it is bad, when Bosmer does it everything is fine :P
I think you can pick pocket the letter from the one you didn't get a letter from then give both to Camilla.
You may talk about Nilsine and her family's story in a lot of videos, Nate, but I definitely think it deserves to be heard. I never thought about it when I did that quest, and even now I've never been in the Shatter-shield's home. I would have never known her mother was already grieving and... That's really saddening. Effectively ruining an entire family just for a few more septums... It just... Makes me so sad...
Suicide isn't a joke kids
Please get help if you're considering it...
It's fun to kill her q
those family members are not gonna pay me any septims to keep her alive. and ya boi likes them shekels. i like people to hear the cling and clang of my coins right before they die.
@@12434567891 ayyy get them coins 😂👌
@@Hellboydec do a lil bit of that shekel shuffle nam sayin? cold af in skyrim, and last time i checked doin shit for free dont pay for that heating bill.
I dunno. They really were pretty shitty toward Miri & did a lot to ruin her life. First she's used & dumped by a man she thought loved her & then is betrayed & dumped by people who were like her family & she had to leave her home. Maybe it's karma on the Shatter-Shields.
You know the dark skinned cannibal girl in tribal looking warpaint? That's not her character design in my game. In the copy I've got she is a white girl with one of those evil looking white blind eyes and no face paint at all.
Those are what you call ''mods'' my friend.
Yeah people mod the game a lot, especially female figures because male players want them to be more attractive - for reasons which escape me
@@vytas5584 I mean there shouldn't be a reason for somebody to want their game to look better but yea
Yustin J. Do you know which mod makes eola look like that? The one i got for her is... less than satisfactory. Honestly I'd love a super mod that makes all npcs look that good lol
@@HazenColones I don't remember exactly but look deeper into the mods that change the appearance of npcs, I'm sure you'll find something that changes all of them in one go...or so I remember.
When he started the one with Faendel, Sven and Camilla I automatically remembered the poll he did with “who is most deserving of Camilla Valerius’ love” and after he said “those of you who answered Sven in our recent poll, we need to talk” so I thought he would say the evil thing was Sven marrying Camilla 🤣🤣
I didn't even realize that trading Orthorn to The Caller for her books was evil. Seemed like a fair trade
Shooting an adventurer in the knee...
lol, that's hilarious but i think not everyone is gonna get it! ;)
Made my day 😂
Top 10 evil chickens next
After killing Paarthurnax, Arngeir of the Greybeards will tell you words that cuts more than a blade and shakes you to the very core more than a Shout does.
6:50 You can go to one of them first, go to the other to switch letters, pickpocket the second guy and turn in both letters to Camilla. But you'll still only get to complete the quest one way or another.
On the first one you can also tell Orthorn that you don't need his help and set him free, and also if you have high enough speech you can intimidate the caller in giving you the books without a fight. -as far as i can remember.. But where is the FUN in that? right??
Imagine how could you feel if Skyrim was a newer game just like RDR 2, where I actually feel stupid when doing something bad. I wish these real feelings will be in TES 6)
The blacksmith in Riverwood, he and his wife died when I was fighting a dragon, they ran infront of me so I hit them and the dragon just killed them, I adopted the daughter XD
Nate! You missed a detail regarding camilla. You can pick pocket the letters from both Faendel and Sven and give them both to camilla. Which will sort of work to cut them both off. But for some reason only takes the last letter as the set mission. so if you gave Svens letter last then you would have to return to Faendel and vice versa.
