    Sorry for the quality. Not doing anything different than the comparison video. Don't know why the quality is different. Not going to make a living being a youtuber. :)

    The new "Prickle" grip should be great. How has the finish holding up? Any experience with the 3.0-3.5Lb trigger? The comp trigger seems to come in much lighter than advertised.

      Hey Jerry. In regards to the finish, I can't tell the gun has been shot. I am around 900 rounds right now. I would love to get my hands on the new grip. I am fine with the lightness of the comp trigger as it is actually a little higher than my other guns. I can't speak for others, but my comp trigger is not consistently at about 1 3/4lbs. Hope this helps.

      I ordered the 3.0-3.5lb trigger on mine and it breaks at 2lb 12oz.

    Hi there and thanks for the great video man. I'm looking to get a platipus commander size with the competition trigger. Have you had any issues firing certain ammo with the 10 pound spring. I definitely want to cut down on the recoil as much as possible. I also plan to add a Valkyrie Dynamics muzzle break comp to it.

      No issues whatsoever. Even on day 1 with the stock spring, it fed my reloads which are not quite as hot as factory ammo. That is pretty impressive. If you are adding a comp to it, you def may want to go with a lighter spring if trying reloads, but you should be fine with factory ammo no matter what spring. Good luck!

      @bluepstu9009 Thanks for your input man. My goal is to modify it so it feels like I'm shooting a .22. Hopefully after breaking it in, I can get the trigger pull weight at sub 2 pounds like yours. I also plan to pin the grip safety down.
      Originally, my eyes were fixed on the Watchtower Apache @ $4,198 or the Atlas Gunworks Nyx RDS v2 @ $5,700.....but I just can't justify spending a couple mortgage payments on a handgun. LOL.

      @@earlautry7999 Ha. You are def welcome. Don't hesitate to reach out should you have any questions. I actually have a watchtower apache on order. Just waiting for it to be built. However, with some of the issues that people are complaining about, I am fine with getting it later than sooner. I want to make sure all the kinks are ironed out. Will probably do a video on it after I get it.

    Great video! Thanks for the info. What grain round do you use with your 10 lbs spring? Standard 115, or do you move to a 124 or 150 grain?

      Thank you! I appreciate it. All of my reloads are 124 grain. The gun fired factory 115 grain ammo fine with the stock spring and also fired my 124 grain reloads with the stock spring. I just went to a 10lb to try to minimize the recoil even more. Hope this helps.

      Good video thanks. For the SSI nitro fin the standard size or the prodigy/staccato size? Is the fusion guide rod for government size only? I have commander length platypus so hoping fusion has that length guide rods as well.

      @bluepstu9009  6 месяцев назад +1

      @@LVbibby I never mentioned but mine is the commander as well so you need a commander size guide rod. You need the 2.0 nitro fin for the prodigy size. Hope this helps.

    Did you keep the standard iron sights or you went low

    • @bluepstu9009
      @bluepstu9009  5 месяцев назад

      That is the way they mill the gun. They actually make the gun where the optic fits that low and you can co witness with the iron sights.
