I learned this specific knot back in the 90s having to wear suit and ties on a daily basis. Then trending fashions went a bit lax allowing less ties and open collars to be more en vogue. I thought I would never forget this this great knot but after years of going tie-less, I have forgotten. Now I have to wear ties again and panicked when I couldn't remember. Thank goodness for the very clear and simple instructional RUclips video, "How to Tie a Shelby Knot" by the great Don Shelby himself and this added bonus of its origin story!! Bravo!
