I have Gold status, boarding group is 4 not 6. Also, if you I spend more than 20k per year, they send a $125 voucher to use in a flight ticket. So, it is free for me.
Not sure abt America airlines,, I have 78k miles and still not enough to travel to Costa Rica,, they say I'm short 22k miles that I would need to purchase for $662.00,, while my airfare without using any miles is $661.17 ,, just don't get it ,,, I thought that I could just use the 78k towards an airfare and pay the remainder,,, I hate this credit card
You’re probably right! From my experience, the best thing to do is get a flight with all the miles and pay it that way. However, you will have to pay the taxes and other fees with cash, there’s just no way to avoid that. That shouldn’t be too high, it should be around 10% of the price (don’t quote me on that). A good math to do is search up how much cash it would take to buy the miles of the price of the ticket. If the price of buying the miles to pay for the ticket in miles is higher than the cash price of the ticket, then I think it’s better to just use the miles. Hope this helps!

If i travel as a family of 5 with gold status... with seat upgrades is it just me or my family on the same Itinerary?
I believe just you! Also a little harder to upgrade if it’s 5

For this credit card, can I still earn the 2x if I use it at restaurants abroad?
