I think you have the patience of a saint. I would not want to have attempted that job but you have proved it can be done and done very well indeed. You made me laugh when I saw you had put it down in your living room to do the spraying and cleaning off the head lining, it reminded me when my late dad used to have his old motorbike stood in the middle of the kitchen. My late mum never complained, bless her. I love watching your videos, you have a very special family you all remind me of days gone by when families meant something.
well Martin you have earned a lot of brownie points for that job its turned out looking very smart your Sharon is going to be well chuffed she has her car back with no hanging roof lining 👏👏👌
Wow what a great job. You have more skill and talent in your little finger than I do in my entire body. I would never attempt that unless it was a vehicle I didn't really care about. Thanks for the video.
Thanks Martin , good video , first time I've seen this done on car , I appreciate how you're not afraid to have a go , and let people watch , thanks alot , for your videos , and you,ve got a likeable personality aswell , 👍 from Tony McCarthy from bedfordshire
add a small amount of steam to the creases ,it will puff the foam back out ,it is this layer of backing foam that has caused the crease by bending the head lining
Great video Martin. The end result proves it was well worth all the labour and effort to restore the headlining. Turned out great a few small creases that should smooth out with the heat inside the car and flexing of the new headliner, great job ! Cheers, Jeff.
Trimfix is a good product have used it on a few camper projects I usually fold the material round on the back of a panel for extra strength although I should imagine door rubbers will hold it I've never done a job indoors though unless I'm up for getting high 🤣
Top Job Martin, it looks great. Would love to see you tackle a Vinyl Wrap project. I'm sure you would make a good job of it and it would be great content for the channel. Keep up the good work.
Great job Martin , surprised you didn’t call project man to give you a hand , but , the finish you got on your own on the floor , ... superb , great video , ... cheers 👍
This seems very common on vauxhalls my dads old mk4 astra went the same way with the saggy headliner but not as bad as this, I did the same as you with a small pin hole and sprayed some contact glue messy indeed, so though id try something else which was using a steamer to heat up the old glue which did work for a while may not work in all cases but depends how bad the old glue is.
You’ve done a good job of that Martin. Don’t think you’d see them creases if you’re not looking for them.

Good job Martin, have seen a lot of upholsterers on custom car programmes use a steamer to remove creases , hasn't Sharon just got a new one😂
Thanks fot this video. Without your help (and cold beer) I would give up. My head lining is now creased and ugly, but not saggy anymore.
