@@Parr4theCourse words with friends, Facebook, instagram….occassionaly airport charts. Sometimes it’s easier to review SIDs and STARs than the split screen on PFD or MFD. I’ll have ForeFlight on my iPad for all its tools, we have GoGo internet so I’ll compare internet radar vs. my XM, tops are easier to see on iPad/Foreflight wx. Once in the wx I use my onboard radar. It’s normally not needed but I do like using it with complicated departures. Too many gotchas on crossing altitudes and speed restrictions. You can never have too many tools!
@@ProPilotPete Oh I absolutely agree, same could be said for me with a G1000, ForeFlight is faster/easier to get the data I need, I just thought with the ability to have up to six screens you would have it covered, but looks like FireFlight once again proves its value!!!!
@@flyinandjammin I had loaded the ILS to 15 at first as advertised on ATIS, when I saw the wx north of the field I changed the approach in the box assuming they’d give it to me. The new ATIS was advertising 33 anyways. I typically load VTF for ILS’s at controlled airports.
Nice , thank you. ! 👍
Beautiful flight .. Nice approach and landing .. those Geese could cause a lot of problems .. Nice Job ..
You greased it like those rookie jet pilots would say when the landing was smooth. It's always fun hearing international air traffic controllers.
@@space1commander I have to listen hard to understand them, I’m sure the feeling is mutual.
👍✅😎 Tks Pete
I love flying to Montreal and people are making pattern calls in French haha.
Ok, I gotta ask….
G3000, whit its capabilities, what do you use the iPad for?

Did you have ILS 33 loaded prior to making your request or were you expecting vectors? Or both? :)

@@ProPilotPete Thanks Pete!
