Engine Trend data | Williams Engine Program | G3000 | 5Kvideo
Просмотров 1668 дней назад
Let's download the engine trend data from each engine and send it into Williams for monitoring. Our aircraft will send it in via wifi but we have a slow connection in the hangar and I typically don't leave power on long enough for it to do it. It will do it while in mx at the service center as they keep ground power hooked up and do the downloads there. I will download to a SD card and email th...
Installing a Seat in the Beechcraft Baron | Pre-trip items for an upcoming mission | 5K video

Let's add a seat so we can fly with 6 people in total, pilot and 5 pax. Then I'll add some oil so she'll be ready for the long XC flight.

Let's head back after dropping off pax. We didn't leave early enough to avoid the buildups and cells. Let's do some circumnavigating or zig zagging! Complicated taxi as we have a lot of closures at GSO.

GSO-MRH, no audio. external mic cord wasn't plugged in well. Guess those that complained about audio in last video got their wish, here's for them. Hope everyone enjoys, was a great day to fly, very smooth.
Airplanes are Dangerous! | G58 GSO-MRH | 5K video

Sorry about the poor audio, I thought it was the headset, I think it's the intercom that's over modulating. Will try a different set up next time. During preflight and while removing chocks from the main tires (under the wing) I scraped my head on the engine cowl flaps. Not the first time. I need a hard hat! Good flight down to MRH, a little IMC and had to shoot the approach back into GSO on th...

Pan Pan Pan! | Approach and Landing YYZ | 5K video

Let's head into Toronto. An aircraft declares Pan Pan, Pan Pan, Pan Pan. Was hoping the controller would ask what the nature of the Pan Pan was but he didn't, or at least what I Heard. It put me on 6R which requires a long taxi. I wanted runway 5. After taxiing towards runway 5 I saw them land with all the equipment following them to the ramp. No idea what it was about.

Busy day, lots of flight training going on at this airport, everyone is very considerate and gives room for me to get in. Lots of great communication going on in the pattern as well. Good times!

Let's go from French Valley, CA to Henderson, NV. Busy airspace, Severe Turbulence Reported, Great controller vectoring us away from it.
Thank you for the video! I recently began flying a CJ3+ with G3000, with plans to transition into PIC role soon - (I mostly fly CJ-1's and 2's). It's been fun to learn the G3000, it certainly brings a lot to the cockpit. I found your video educational, a good pilot-to-pilot refresher, plus it allowed me to see that other pilots can have similar experiences as I have had with the G3000 - (we work through the issues and learn!). Again, thank you. GBL - (G3000 pilot in training)
Looks like HondaJet set up.
@@GregMunning both have Garmin G3000 with some slight software differences
👍✅ still waiting for the fun pilot life stuff 🏝👙🧋🍹Pete, don't keep hiding it from us🤣
Charles is Brutal today….🤪😜
@@paratyshow my fun pilot life stuff consists of the occasional nice steakhouse or just chilling by the pool. I don’t venture out like the Parrs. I need to start, maybe I’ll vlog some of that!
Hey!!! You're great at making these videos!!! Keep up the good work.
@@GregMunning thanks. Got to find something to do when I’m not flying!
@@ProPilotPete In that case I should build a house.
@@GregMunning I’m sure there’s a local Walmart in need of a greeter! Hopefully you’ll get busy after holiday.

Pro Pilot I would have gone ahead and installed the seat back before you got there at the shop.
👍✅ Tks for the lesson Pete, people think being a pilot is all palm trees and pinha coladas at sunset 🏝🤣 No wait thats being a sailboat captain!
You got that right!!!!!
one of the first guys ive actually seen land a small GA at a large airport correctly. Dont put it down on the numbers if youre spot is on the other side of the field. You will be taxing and backing up traffic all the way down the runway. Nice touchdown bud!

@@paratyshow I’ve got the maturity of a 12 year old so it works!
Pete - great videos in terms of editing and content. I got back into flying last year and completed the Cirrus transition course and should get my instrument rating shortly. Plan is to get my commercial cert as well. Do you offer or could you recommend a twin engine school? I don’t know if it’s your influence but a Baron G36 or a G38 seems the ticket. I came across CRAFT, they train in Diamonds. I fly out of KFRG.
@@2003turbocarsandbids if you’re simply looking at obtaining the rating so you can fly professionally, a quick 2-3 weekend course might be what you’re looking for. Several of those, including one near me, that has a basic all included price for the training and checkride. Knock it out in two days. If you’re doing it as an owner/pilot I’d recommend a more thorough approach, perhaps even a simulator course, to get all the multi-engine aircraft knowledge and skills to safely fly a twin. The quick weekend course would be good if you’re going on to fly in a crew environment and you’ll learn the skills on the job so,to speak. Good luck with the instrument rating. It’s a hard one as there is so much information and knowledge needed and new skills to develop but a very rewarding one!
I am impressed at the room in the rear baggage as compared to the M2. Beautiful aircraft!
👍✅ Thanks for this video Pete, helped me to forget the last one I watched 🤣

Nice flight…. Centerline is reserved for professional pilots😜🤪

👍✅ Nice, tks Pete
My club has one but haven’t gotten checked out yet. Hopefully in another year. Can’t really justify the extra $30/hr over the 182 right now.
I have done that on the aileron of a 172 before during preflight. Not fun for us guys without cushion. Hurts even with a hat. Beautiful flight into Pete Brown International. Can't beat the view on Approach.
Me too! That’s how you can tell Cessna pilots, the diamond on the forehead!
Audio was so bad, I had to stop listening.
I get it
Would not want to fly with this guy. He's all over the taxiway, not paying attention, jabbering to the camera, looking at his cellphone, etc. Airplanes aren't particularly dangerous, but some pilots are! Aviate, navigate, communicate.
I don’t think I invited you. Looking at a cell phone at PDC clearance. No different than looking at a notepad. Multi tasking is an important skill required to fly airplanes.
Great video - as always, but the audio sucks on this one.
I know
That’s a big gash Pete.
Looks worse than it is
Hey Pete, try reducing the sensitivity of the audio input on your camera or audio device. Sounds like it's getting overdriven when you speak loudly. Love the videos, keep 'em coming!
I’ll look into that. Thanks
Microphone too close/talking too loud.
The intercom won’t work unless you speak loudly and mic close. It’s this particular plane that does it. I’ll resolve it by using an external mic in my ear cup. That’s how I used to do it.
Planes are not dangerous. It's the people using them that are. Dude can't even get the sound right.
I had lunch a couple weeks ago with my old instructor Jerome 'cuz I'm thinking about getting my commercial. I mentioned you and lo and behold found out he works with you!
Jerome is a good guy!
Airplanes are NOT dangerous. PILOTS are !
Be careful
When I used to work line service, part of our job was to wash all the aircraft in the main hangar once a month and I accidentally ran into a King Air aileron with the bridge of my nose. There was a lot of blood that day too. 😂
Hello from Wilmington - the question is, did you hurt the plane (vs. your head)? That would have been my grandfather’s response.
Pro Pilot Pete you always do high speed decent to not shock cool the engines on every flight you do and I love it
I’m ready Pro pilot Pete
Nice video Pete, except the audio which you knew about. Don from iOptimize Realty and Jet Pilot Diaries.
Audio seems distorted
It seems to be bad from intercom, when I’m talking on radio or atc is talking that’s clear. Not sure why. Hope to resolve it or find another way to record audio next time.
If you grow your hair out it acts as a bumper….
