Since I last saw this, I started embellishing and “styling” the three count. It’s fun and has made sense of WCS dancing that made no sense to me when I started learning this dance. Thank you, guys.😻
Effort=success. How much do they listen to the music? Are they working on their own footwork? Dance at different studios? How many high level dancers do they watch? Do they have a dance partner and practice before class? Also dance other dances helps a lot. Salsa and Lindy have a lot in common and are very fun to dance.
I have a quote "If you're not obsessed you'll never be great" but we don't need to be obsessed about WCS. It does take some effort though. The ones who get REALLY REALLY good, to your point put in plenty of effort over a long period of time. We're here to help shorten the process as much as we can and to provide encouragement and support along the way!
@@WestCoastSwingOnline I’ve been practicing three years and I have shown great progress. And I have more steps in the journey for which I am very excited.😸
Thanks to Brian, Ms. Megan and the WCSO team for your many terrific videos and the encouragement that goes with them. I'm working on devising a "push-button whip." I push a button that I press into the follower's hand that, on step two, gives her a jolt that makes her turn 180 degrees. If I perfect it, I'll let you know.
YES! That's exactly what we hoped for when we made it. Thanks for sharing your experience. Let me know if you have any other topics you want us to cover! -Brian
It's like NETFLIX for WCS 🕺💃
