This is the most joyous song, there is life in it, free and unrestrained. This is why some people live on while others fall. The hardships don't hold them back, the fun times give them armour
Thanks for the joy you left behind Shane ...gone but never forgotten.May your tunes gladden the hearts of all who hear it.RIP 🌹💐 xxx
This Land was always ours t'was the proud Land of our fathers. It belongs to us and them not to any of the others. Let them go boys let them go boys let them go down in the mud where the rivers all run dry! Yeeeeeeeaaaa!
@@JC-td6ys Bobby Sands?
Love it
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord. 😢And let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace! Thanks for the music Shane...the soundtrack of our youth...😢
There's no band like them, plenty have tried to replicate their sound, all have failed. Possibly one of the greatest live bands of all time. Impossibly catchy music that makes people who can't dance want to get up and dance until they drop. Along with Roy Keane and Guiness they are Irelands greatest export. Ladies and Gentlemen I give you, The Pogues
Damned right!! 👍
the pogues are an English band who play Irish music, they are however, brilliant, and as good as keane is he is no George Best ;) Add Hop House Lager along with guiness
Always liked them. I have Tu.rnesd-a lot of folks on to them wife joyce went to Ireland land a few months back !chuck
London Irish ☘️..

Rest in peace Shane - that voice and that music has been a huge part of my life for the past 35/40 years
Best band ever long live the pogues 💚🇮🇪
RIP Shane you connected me to my Irish roots and lit something inside me
