      @@meautoaccessories You guys are doing a great job, how much more weight is the 5.7 compared to the 3.7?

      @@jeremywahl8544 Oh well, we didn't weigh them, but I know it is a lot more! Either way, the suspension will handle it after the system upgrade we did (Bilstein Struts and Old Man Springs)

      @@meautoaccessories I have a 2.5" Skyjacker lift on mine. I would have to get ahold of them to find out if they are upgraded springs, I know they are longer than the original.

      I believe so, but I'm not sure, though. It's definitely smaller than 2010, but it could work.

    What's the estimate on this job???

      Just labor rounds 10k. The cost of parts varies based on their accessibility. It's a lot of hard work, but totally worth it!

    Is it running and driving already? Any plans to document it once is completed? I wonder how is the front diff going to manage the new torque

    Can you detail the wiring portion, I am swapping my commander 3.7 to the 5.7 and I am worried about the wiring. What wiring will need to be modified or changed. I.e under dash, engine compartment or under body. Thanks and great work.

    • @meautoaccessories
      @meautoaccessories  2 месяца назад

      Thanks for the kind words. For the 3.7 to 5.7 swap, you will just need to modify the engine compartment wiring, especially the engine harness.
      You don’t have to touch the under-dash wiring or underbody. Feel free to give us a call, and we can give you some tips based on our experience with this one. Good luck!

      5.7 and 3.7 uses the same pcm.

    • @meautoaccessories
      @meautoaccessories  8 месяцев назад

      They use identical PCM units in both the 5.7L and 3.6L engines, but their programming differs.

    • @msengineeringdavid3148
      @msengineeringdavid3148 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@meautoaccessories they run on the same program it’s just flashed over to a hemi file the program doesn’t change it also looks like you’re not using an original pcm . Because the engine plug on the original harness is exactly the same. You also left out you welded hemi brackets to the subframe.

    • @meautoaccessories
      @meautoaccessories  8 месяцев назад

      @msengineeringdavid3148 they're all the same plugs, but still, you need to have the computer to program it and change the file. Autel or SnapOn scanners don't do that. I used a pre-owned 2010 RAM PCM instead to avoid programming, which is plug-n-play, just need to change the VIN number
