Thanks Mike. Like your videos, I try to make them as `educational` as possible. I see so many videos you see on RUclips were the photographer is just rambling on to the camera for about 15mins , before they even show a picture. When they are like that, you dont learn anything.
That spider web really set off the turtle dove slow motion sequence! Your channel is one of the few that offer an opportunity to learn about wildlife photography instead of just watching someone taking photos Roger (Mike Lane's is another) and I thank you for the time and effort you put into your channel. I've found a spot with multiple yellowhammers while walking my dogs so I'm going to try and get some images of my own🤞
Thanks for the very kind comment Stephen. Glad you liked the video, and also the content. Both mine and Mike Lane`s videos, are similar in a lot of ways. We both try to make them as informative and instructional as possible. (Mike`s video are better than mine 🙁) I know what you mean about some photographers spending far too long rambling on to camera, and end up only showing one or two pictures. Its annoying that they get so many views when the content of the video is quite poor. Once again, thanks for the very kind comment. Its much appreciated.
Thanks for commenting David. Its much appreciated. I was pleased with this one. I try to make the videos informative, as well as showing some reasonable shots. This video was one of my better ones. Hope your keeping well ?
Great video Roger, you captured some amazing stills and video; that slow motion looked very good. I hope to photograph some Turtle doves again very soon, they are such photogenic birds. Have a great weekend 🙂
Great work Rodger . I was at my local Martin Down National Nature reserve last week, and apparently there were a couple of Turtle Doves visiting, but Martin Down is vast. Only got some Collared Doves so lovely to see your excellent video . Thanks for sharing 👍
Cheers Richard. Very much appreciated. I was lucky with this location, and when something like that turns up, it would have been daft not to have made full use of it. Hope your keeing well mate.
Some more excellent photos; I've not even seen any turtle doves this year, but after reading about them recently and watching your vid, I shall be on the look out!
Bonjour Merci pour la vidéo, c'est très clair. Superbe diaporama final. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good morning Thanks for the video, it's very clear. Superb final slideshow.
Beautiful bird footage, nicely done! Unfortunately I hadn't been able to photograph/film these bird species yet, but I'm working on it. Thanks for sharing 😉👍
I moved away from The Colne Valley in Essex nearly 30 years ago, but still enjoy seeing that part of the world. Obviously you need to keep your location secret, but based on the Dairy Heard, the power-lines and the slope, I'm guessing you are pretty close to The Essex/Suffolk border around Bures.
The slow motion in the rain is wonderful. Also one of your best films because of the depth of your explanations of what you are doing.

Great video Roger. Yellowhammers are so beautiful. I love Turtle doves too. Some Fab shots👍👍
Cheers Richard. Thanks for commenting.
Wonderful! We have neither Turtle Doves nor Yellowhammers in the US (I’m in California), so seeing your beautiful stills and footage is a treat.
Thanks for commenting. Glad you enjoyed the video.
