For Texas you can put in a request to file yearly instead of monthly or quarterly. I had to email them but they changed it.

Im in the spot now where i go to work during the week and then when i get home it's ebay until 10. Weekends are all ebay. It just never ends.

Question… for tax purposes, do you keep track of how much you spent on each item or do you do a grand total of how much you spent on everything for the year? If you do it once a year, how do you know if what you included in that actually sold or not. Not sure if that comes across clear but basically if you spend $100 on items and only sell 70% of the items, do you include the other 30% that you didn’t sell in your expenses.
Most states will abate one late filing penalty once a year or once in an 18 month period.

@@TaylorExchange it's not that many. Can easily pile up 400 pieces laying flat. Having 0 listing days doesn't pay the bills. I'm on year 26 and having a large q ready to go is how I stay in business all these years.

for taxes: of I spent for example $10 on $10 items ($1 each) at a thrift store, but then donated 2 of those items. Do I just say I spent $8 on $8 items. Pretend I never bought those bad buys? I'm going through stale inventory.
