Get inventory anywhere you can! My husband works in heating and cooling. He's worked for a family-owned business for 18 years. He comes home with free boxes and bubble wrap that his employer would otherwise just throw out. He also comes home with bags and bags of inventory for me weekly. In talking with his regular customers over the years, they would find out what I do just by chatting with him. When I tell you people are good, they are so so good. They put things aside all year for him to pick up on their annual furnace cleanings. Some even call him when they want stuff gone. I've even had some drop it off on my porch. TELL people what you do. Best blessing ever is community.
Do a zoom buy call with the person. Have them show the items & you pick the items you want. Good way until a solid relationship is established. Kinda like your own personal Whatnot show😊
I've had a couple of people want to do a local pickup instead of having it mailed 20 miles. I'd rather not do that, but I did it anyway and asked them to drive to a school close to me for the meetup.
I used to sell from Craigslist a LOT many years ago and would meetup in Starbucks. CL hasn't been doing well recently because of all the peer 2 peer competition like Offerup.
The priority mix up return happened to me as well (kind of). My last return (knock on wood) was a pair of jeans I sent priority flat rate padded. The buyer decided to buy a different style jeans and never even opened the ones I sent. The buy slapped a ground advantage label on the priority flat rate envelope and returned it to me. It was delivered to my house like that and I still haven't heard of any adjustment from eBay so maybe mine slipped through or something.
I raised by flat rate price for less than 1 Lb by 50 cents. Will continue to raise my shipping rates every time there is a postal increase. I ship over 500 packages per month and I need to keep the profit margin the same.
It started Sunday , I was trying to ship before the price increase but I didn’t make it. It costs me $2 extra to send a 12oz+ package anywhere that’s 2 stated over or farther , and I live in California 😢. Hurts when you ship out over 100 packages every couple days
also, I know you declined my offer to sell you my men's inventory, but I'd be willing to give you what I planned on donating. I'm in Dallas btw. let me know if you're interested.
My postal guy sells on ebay (myself and him both more than 20 years) and I can tell you right now he would have gotten on the phone with ebay to report that idiot who used the Priority tape. He's seen every scam and there's literally no one that doesnt know that the Priority tape is for Priority packages. That buyer is running a scam and using the free supplies to do it. So if you had returned the dress, the transaction would have been closed, so it would be an "off-ebay' return to the buyer. He was going to keep that dress and the item he/she bought from you and then tell ebay you sent the WRONG ITEM BACK TO THEM! 😂 So they get the item and their money back. Most sellers wont call it in so this bad buyer keeps doing it like its a business lol. College kids run this scam all the time but anyone can do it. The best part, if that "buyer" had not left feeback yet, they can leave a neg for you as the cherry on top. My post guy says watch your feedback even though you blocked him. Man I despise people sometimes 😆 🤣 😂
Glad jiropack is good for you. i purchased over 5000 poly bags and 1000 of them were bad and can not get jaropack to help with the issue. I used your coupon to order them but will never buy from them again since they do not have any customer service. They only worry about making the sale and paying the RUclipsrs that promote them.
A viewer had an issue and reached out to me and I got them situated. Send me a private message with your order number and issue and I’ll pass it along.

@@jrroper3515 I might need to hire your husband 😂
Yes you should get inventory from your audience if it makes sense.

Hmm maybe they would go for that!
Great idea

Did it go well?
Hard pass for me.
Unless its a large sale, $200 plus, then it’s a pass for sure.

Dang, ya might have gotten lucky on that one.

Well the rates have increased twice a year since I started in 2019 ☠️
Hi and good morning, question for you. Who pays for the returns, the buyer or yourself?
Depends on the return but typically buyer.
@@TaylorExchange thank you 🙏

Dang, 🤦♂️
Yup it’s going to be a hit.
Raise your flat rate shipping by 50 cents and raise all your prices by 50 cents -$1 problem solved
The USPO is trying to put the small seller and business OUT of business with the increases.
The summer is slow down.
@@Chicago48 It’s a bit concerning
did you ever end and sell similiar that shirt that took 9 months to sell?
and do you ever end and sell similar to refresh items
Yes, 200 items everyday with a 5% price reduction.
sold a 200 dollar suit on Facebook local the other day cross list you high end stuff there local pick up instant cash is nice
Very good, I need to find the $200 suit first!
don't skip the suits bro there's money there
I would think this is an important opportunity for eBay to negotiate better shipping rates for resellers, because without us, eBay would suffer hard.
It’d be nice
Media mail is also going up on July 14th
💀
I certainly hope not because I'm just getting started. And I really need the money😮
Ya theirs definitely money to be made but not as great as past years.
Don't do reselling full time -- that's IMO. Do it part time and have a part time/full time job.
Postal rates did indeed increase.
Thank you USPS.
It’s such a brutal thing when it happens.
Towncraft is J.C. Penney brand.
Gross 😂
That ia my fear with the returns and the cost
Yes, might need to think of a new way to combat the increase.

Wow, what a clear scam.
Ya I just don’t have the energy to engage in all that.
But maybe next time I’ll act on it and run it up the ladder.
Gotta evolve or get left behind. This happens every year
Great point 👍
