Yard sales & flea markets can be a great supplement and a cheaper option than thrifts but it will be hard to get enough to sell volume. But it does give you a chance to meet people & maybe score some bulk buy deals. You're more likely to find bulk sellers at the flea market, imo. Seth is going to be your secret weapon. The ladies will ❤ him. But you're gonna need to keep his work hours pretty short. He'll get cranky pretty quickly.
Yes definitely look out for old Lee brand bottoms. I found a 1974 Lee Frisko jeens yup jeens not jeans lol sold them for $495.95 in 21 hours and I paid a dollar 😂🎉
If you were running your business well with thrift stores I can only imagine you will absolutely KILL IT if you hit up more flea markets, Garage sales/Estate sales!
I think it's always funny how we want things to sell so we can keep the cashflow going but then get upset when something sells immediately because we could've probably gotten more money for it. I just missed out on selling something for $40 that I got for $5 because I had just listed it and wanted to wait a couple days to see if I would get full asking. I haven't gotten another offer since LOL I'm trying to get actively better at consciously being aware that we're in the business of selling not storing!
I found out this summer that flea markets and Garage sales, plus estate sales are far better places to source for quality items at a cheaper price. Estate sales could care less about clothing. So scores of vintage are there to be had. Sometimes I pay up for items at a flea market. But the upside is you upside price can be 5X that of a Thrift. Start hitting the flea market for better items. And hit the garage sales on Saturday.
You need to keep up with the research to learn new brands or trending brands so you don’t miss out on your long sourcing trips it’s gonna be more consistent than yard sales
Use code Taylor10 for your 10% discount on JiaroPack poly mailers!

@@debk7110 Love to hear it 👍
Garage sales are much better but its a 3 season deal around here. Winter is out so have to thrift of auctions.
@@petesnyder6281 Very true
High Rise and Mom keywords will sell those Lees. Also Birkenstock Arizona EVA are those plastics ones. Nice pickups!
Excellent news information, thanks 👍

A big problem is my location.
But I appreciate the confidence.
I hate estate sales, it’s worse than thrift stores lol

I hear what you’re saying. It’s the instant sales that are a sign I messed up the pricing.

@@chaunceywilliams8405 Great idea 👍
Sounds like fun trying to haggle a reseller at a yard sale.
@@josh33025 For sure, it’s like the Wild West.

More effort could definitely help 👍
You sold me...ima go to yard sales this weekend LOL
Haha only takes one good one to get the itch.
Rummaging with kids is iffy. They're going to want a toy at every single sale. 😂
@@sarahkoltz8017 That’s a good point, but Seth is a an X-Factor on adorableness so I have to take advantage of this window of time 😂
Fleas and garage sales better prices. I prefer fleas as more choices usually.
@@jaykrehbiel9896 Very true my local flea is not great so I have to commute the 2 hours to get to the massive ones.
Probably $80-100
@@Bobothecat1 I think so.
