North Dakota Duck Hunting

Field hunting ducks near Devils Lake, North Dakota. Decoying a variety of puddle ducks in a combined soy bean field that include: mallards, pintails, gadwell, wood ducks and widgeon. Classic morning field hunting decoy set where we set up in a field that the birds had been previously feeding in and used the slough edge for cover.
Tips on decoy placement and spread formation/ blind location for field hunting ducks. Freelance style hunting that is accessible to anybody with some ambition and a little bit of equipment. This hunt was filmed fairly early in the season in an unposted field. In North Dakota, hunters can access land that isn’t posted with signs or electronically posted.

I just don't care for the background music. You must think that it enhances the video but it's just annoying and takes away from the natural sounds of the hunt.
