A lot of people say this about the big comedians who've already had their break, but when I say 'Marc Maron is one of, if not the most criminally underrated comedian' I mean it. This guy deserves so much more respect and attention than he gets.
Just listened to his latest pods, dude just comes off as very pissed at more successful "meat head" comics, masking it with philosophical BS about comedy I mean, pretty pathetic really

Marc sometimes reminds me of Bill Hicks. Both so ahead of their times. I believe Marc, like so many other comedians, was strongly influenced by George Carlin, an amazing comedian I frequently listen to.

I first seen him doing a podcast with David spade that I really enjoyed he had a real repour with them and had a good laugh with them I actually lol a lot no I gotta s say it laugh out loud I'm surprised he didn't make it bigger
Although he has a really annoying personality in real life, his comedy--before he joined the indulgent crowd of comedians no longer interested in "entertaining"--is actually original, insightful, and funny. Thank God for editing software.
Less than a minute in and he looks like the dorkiest accountant on earth. Thank goodness he did a Serpico and grew a beard and long hair or he'd never have gotten within an inch of meow.
Almost halfway through and I haven’t heard anything funny enough to make me laugh, or even crack a smile for that matter. I was expecting something good 😔
Nothing about his career has been luck. He has a style that lots of people love. And the podcast is successful because he asks great questions, and gives his guests time to answer. He's also empathetic. But I'm sure if you ask him to do farther jokes, he will.

Wow, 90s Maron is breaking my heart and making me laugh simultaneously.
Wow, that smoking bit is Maron imitating Leary imitating Hicks.
Yessss😂😂😂😂😂😂
No
It’s like poetry. It rhymes.
holy crap I've never seen him with short hair and no mustache!!!
Dude it's so jarring, he doesn't even look like the same person!
It looked like some dorky accountant snuck into the video. Much better looking with longer hair and whiskers.
Rrriiiggghhhttt it's weird he looked like Danny Tanner 😂😂😂😂
Doesn't look or sound like the Marc we know today! His voice changed over the years i guess
He looks like Matt Stone from South Park! 😂😂
I'm glad Marc finally made it.
Lame sarcasm thats on every comment section .
No sarcasm at all. I mean it.
Made it? He's been established for years

Light beard, medium length hair, was the best look. It’s giving daddy professor.
I saw Joe Cocker play that live at Woodstock 94. My first and greatest concert experience ever.
Still funny, after all these years. Bravo Marc!
The plane and death playlist bit is great 😂
The addict in its natural environment!😂
Marc Maron. One of the good ones. Smart and funny.
I am glad Marc exist!
The 2 friends thing is too accurate for me ahhhh.
Marc had me at 'death playlist'🥰
Wow. He looks like Bob Saget (RIP) in those early clips.
Saw maron first in GLOW. Loved him. Then saw his stand up on "this isnt happening" & i hated it. This is muuuuch better stand up from him
God that smoking bit just like clarified everything that goes through my head when someone harasses me for smoking
Marc is the best! Love this guy.
Marc Maron is wildly underrated.
Im in love with Older Marc Maron❤
Part 7 is so good.
Hilarious so far! I need those two friends too!
Lmao 😂 he’s the best hands down
Nicotine terrarium, loved it. Especially side 2.
He got better and better.
I'm so concerned about the noise change. I always look at the other passengers to check if I should panic.

I’m sure I’m his #1 fan ❤❤❤❤ Love him in “To Leslie.” I would love to find a man like Sweeney. What a total sweetheart.
Yes
His shows are basically Ted Talks. I like the guy but he doesn't really tell jokes. His premises are his punch lines, and then he talks about it.
Is that Bob Saget?
How old was he in that bit about smoking??
Wow I didn't even recognize him at the start of the video.. he looked so different then
16:57 they let kids into these shows? Am I the only one surprised by that?
‘I’m an atheist. Thank god for medication’ 😝
