This is ridiculous. Just sick. We are getting so many advancements for texturing and rendering. With Surface Designer and Painter, Quixel tools, Keyshot for quick rendering, Zbrush for super flexible modelling. 3d has really come a long way.
It will still be years before artists can really wrap their heads around the workflows well enough that good realistic game assets can take advantage of this at the pace we would like.
Coming from a very old Zbrush fan, this is very exciting for Zbrush.
I never get tired of watching this. Timeless.

Actually i leave 3d world but i keep only Zbrush,... is a pure Artistic and inspiring sofwtare with Powerful tools .....organic modeling, polymodeling, drawing, studying anatomy,rendering...and sometimes i think that i can used it asTooth brushing, it's my swiss Knife and it's AMAZING!!

Well, Zbrush is great but if you want to animate, you'll need another software. Maya is good for animation, while I really like 3dsmax to model stuff. I prefer 3dsmax over Maya, but that's my opinion only. :)
TheDeathToday I like maya's animation system too but I like blender's modeling workflow just beccaus of it's speed. Everything is a hotkey so I almost never have to move my mouse off too another window and I love it. However if blender wasn't an option I would toatally use max for modeling.

I am a new Z-User (but pro on 3ds max and othersa) and it seems I can ditch the shadowbox and all the hard surface techniques I have tried to learn in the last couple of months. way to go Pixologic.

this was good although i wonder what that thing of the demonstration was used for. some weird movie or weird game possibly? note how i say weird because that modeled and rendered machine made absolutely no sense.

Can keyshot be used as a rendering alternative to like vray or renderman for full environment interiors? If you say for example render different sections at a time and then composite them together? Because its lightyears faster than a normal renderer

Keyshot is a render program. You can create UVs in Zbrush or any other modeling package.

They do charge $150 just for the interface between the two applications.
The bridge app which only opens zbrush files, doesn't need the full software. Everything needed is included.

Anywhere and everywhere. You can use zBrush or zBrushCore to make models for 3D printing, or video games, or product promotion posters, or to use as a CAD program (in a pinch), or to figure out how parts fit together, or anything else. Where can't you use it. :P

Zbrush was originally a painting application that became the WORLDS GREATEST high poly sculpting program, mainly because you didn't have to have a GRAPHICS CARD, because it's based off RAM.... ZBRUSH has NO rigging tools! It has POSING tools! Zbrush EXCELS at QUICK illustrative art... The animation tools are also for POSING or ILLUSTRATIVE work.... This is IN no way a TOOL in the same LANE as any "FULL CGI PACKAGE" such as Maya, 3DS Max, Cinema4D etc... ZBRUSH, MUDBOX, 3D-Coat.... are SCULTPTING PROGRAMS... Just wanted to clear that up because the comparisons are JUST getting absolutely ridiculous!
ZBR7 as an update is bringing TRADITIONAL low-poly modeling to ZBRUSH plus a BRIDGE to a renderer called KEYSHOT... This is further developing the CONTROL Zbrush users can have regardless the STYLE they PREFER while MODELING
