Your negativity and apathy is isolating you. You don't always have to understand, just respect. I say this with the intention to help. I used to tell everyone I was an aspiring author and people reacted like it was cringey as hell too. Sadly, peope just respect a MBA more than any amount of creativity. Lost my visa after living and working for 7 years in Japan.
Now I need to be in Europe since March and wait for a low-level JLPT test
that is way below my language skill so I can reapply for a visa in December.
This made me realize how much I miss Japan and how
much better it is there for me personally than here in Europe.

Us people with Asperger's (self diagnosed) tend to not have friends. Probably some do. But most people are only friends with people if they get something out of you. Rather you funny or have internet you can use, or have weed or whatever.. Most people will tell you they lost contact with just about every person from their childhood. And even socially skilled people. Only certain types of people can keep friendship's. I learned to not bother. All 3 of my best friends from my teenage years I don't talk to anymore. Somewhat my choice since one never comes around and it's always me making plans. One never bothered helping with rent when I let him live with me. And other never seemed to try and do anything with me after suggesting things to do. I'm done with people. I'm not a fun person. I have trouble reaching out. So it's best to stay friendless

I don't usually comment, but I have been watching your channel for a few years now, and I really enjoy your videos. Honestly, I can relate to your feelings so much. Everybody I meet hates me too, I try to mask and act like "normal person", but people can always tell something is off about me. I could never fit it in any social situation whether it be a at work, school or social gatherings. Maybe that's why I like watching your videos so much, it feels like you might be speaking a similar language. And if I ever met you I would love to be in your videos!

It's probably ASD. I have also always been an outcast bullied pariah. No matter what I do I can't fit into any social situation. For the last 2 years, I have avoided socializing to protect myself and that's apparently the only thing that works.
I do love your videos. You're living your life the way you want. I actually think you're brave enough to do what most people in the world including me are afraid to do which is live life completely on your terms. Unfortunately, convenience is at the core of many friendships. I moved a lot during my life and I learned this the hard way too. I think being a youtuber is cool though. I used to tell everyone I was an aspiring author and people reacted like it was cringey as hell too. Sadly, peope just respect a MBA more than any amount of creativity. Plus, people generally have no idea what a career trajectory in non-traditional jobs looks like so they just look down on it.

Whatever energy you put out into the world, society will reflect it right back at you. Reality is harsh and you're right, people do suck, but they have a point: your negative experiences with people over the years is a constant reminder that you are aren't attracting the right kind of attention and people you want in your life. It's a sign that you need to change and grow. That's life and that's ok. Accept it. You can choose to stay the same, in comfort, and continue to make friends with people who agree with you. Or you can do some self reflecting, identify what areas in life you're struggling with, and try to find solutions to them. That takes work, but it pays off in the long run. For example, if you wanna be Chris Broad's friend or be admired by youtubers like him, perhaps the most honest way of achieveing that is to stop making content about negative drama in your life. It's time to make new content that captures your good qualities and share that with the world. Grow into the kind of person you would want to befriend and keep in your life. I believe in you.

Daniel this is what I'm going to say. You have your flaws and you understand the way other people think. You said it perfectly in this video. I love that your able to make a living doing youtube videos and ill continue to watch you until you decide to stop. I've been watching you for years and I honestly care for you. To be very honest I myself wouldn't mind being in one of your videos. I think you hit the nail right on the head. People are scared of what others think of them and they think being on your channel in anyway might hurt them in some way. I think that its going to be very hard to find the right people that you can be friends with that don't mind what your job is. Because yes your correct youtube IS a job. When you then complain about things in your life they then hate on that because you made a name for youself and got yourself where you are. In Japan you can be sued for using a person likeness w/o their permission , even it's for non-commercial purposes. Tho since RUclipsrs make money you could argue that YTubers are making commercial videos (as opposed to editorial). This why Japanese mainstream media news will blur faces of people in background on the street.

I have seen a couple of your subscribers ask to meet up so you can’t really say that no one reaches out to you.
Also, don’t focus on the negative. Appreciate that you have a group of subscribers who still like your videos, hangout with you during livestreams, and do leave positive comments.
You are unfiltered and completely comfortable with having an online presence but respect that many are not comfortable with having their face accessible to the world.
