I also learned all the local weeds and native plants that are edible, sometimes I can go for a walk and get enough stuff for a salad for a couple of days........

Believe me, it works! So if you want that person to wake up, or whatever else in life (whatever good, and from the heart), then pray (Matthew 6:9-13) and meditate! God talks to the ones who listen.

I think the whole, “always positive” movement is not the best. While I agree we should think positive, it makes a lot of people ignore what is really going on. I find it sad that I cannot talk to people about serious issues because they are “negative” and people do not want to hear it. There is less and less connection with the real world. Something has got to give. We came in and acted like the natives were uncivilized and wrong, when really, they lived in harmony with the earth and helped each other out. They understood how to live in harmony in this world. I wish we would all see that and make a difference. Small things done by large amounts of people = huge change. Remember that.
Wake up with a smile. That starts your day in good energy. Start a garden. That will bring you closer to nature. End your day before sleep in gratitude. Try for 2 weeks. See the difference in your life.
