Churchill was racist I agree with that He has told lots of bad things about indians but u should consider the age he was in He was born in 1874 the Victorian age Where racism as per today's standards were everywhere When the law itself treated other races with inequality you don't expect the ppl of the age to do the same You need a revolution to do that which was the great civil rights movement and all other great movements And there were almost no groups which demanded equal rights for blacks
Put "violence" in this context of protecting ones self, and that's exactly what it is - Protecting yourself. Society will try to tell you by showing pride and protecting yourself, your somehow not patriotic. So bow to the racism to show your patriotism! It's not racism, it's reacting to racism. In today world Gandhi's teaching of non violence is very important
With all this technology and connectivity, Non-violence will actually be much more powerful. But it needs the right leader.
An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind 💯
Absolutely Right
Or if u will not take his eye then u will be blind
No it doesn’t that shit is stupid
Advitya Sharma That doesn't explain anything. And the quote doesn't stand at all, even if we are talking about revenge. The original "eye for an eye" is pretty good for what it stands for. It's "eye for an eye" not "eye for a leg" or whatever else. Though, honestly, I personally see nothing wrong with revenge conducted by the wronged party as long as they are within the bounds of "eye for an eye". That doesn't leave the world blind; that's exacting justice.
Advitya Sharma I love you
You gotta love Dr. King.
By the time King started the movement Gandhi was already dead. Gandhi was truly inspiring🙏
@Jancy Varghese you knw I'm indian in our country everybody hates gandhi because the real heroes of the independence were subhash Chander Bose, bhagat singh but these britisher mentioned them as a terrorists in our history and their agent gandhi as a freedom fighter.

@@sachchidananddubey58 yes even dr. babasaheb ambedkar said this.
@Skip Barrows what do you mean
What really mahatma Gandhi is forgotten... really his face is on every single rupee in India, but we are forgetting his values .
Indian subcontinent was/is phenomenal in its philosophical field.. Gandhi influenced many in Africa and the west. Buddha's teachings spread throughout Asia. Sikhisim, Jainism were all product of indian philosophy and experience. Even Ashoka the great stands alone and great among the kings of the world.
Gandhi
a man who never think about his self
a man who taught us to win ourselves
A man who told us the truth
A man who gave the feeling of being indian
A man who gives us power of non violence
A man who lived his life with simplicity
Now I have no words
I said only one thing
We never seen another gandhi
@Killuminati S4M what you know about gandhi......????
Gandhi was assisnated due to protest........
He was great leader

Martin Luther King
Gandhi
Nelson Mandela
Three nonviolent leaders who fought for rights and injustice for people and wants people to have equal rights and equal opportunity
Nelson Mandela was not non-violent. In fact he was a bomb maker, a bomb thrower, and a terrorist. Some may say freedom fighter, but he used violence, terrorism, and sabotage to achieve his political goals.
♥️ Dr Martin Luther King Jr Rest in Peace Legend!!! ✝️🙌🕊️❤️
Great answers to the interview questions. Those were not easy questions.
And people nowadays in India think thet Gandhi was racist, he inspired one of the biggest black rights activist
I have the utmost respect for Dr King, and like Gandhi, we lost him early. A sad and devestating blow to humanity
... gandhi was near 80 when he was assisinated. you can't really say we lost him early. its still horrible but he wasn't young by any standard.
Wish all the rioters in the US got to see this. Normalizing violence under any circumstance is unfortunate.

Night King Yeah except in this case this isn’t a rumor based thing. It’s one of those things that are true but history decides to ignore. Dude literally slept on beds next next to naked young girls, one of which happened to be his own niece. Shit’s disgusting. I’m telling you to look up everything because they’re not rumors at all. So no brains washing happening here or whatever bullshit. The media doesn’t even portray the horrible things he did
Gandhi & MLK love peace & freedom. Gandhi wants non violence in his native India. MLK wants seggregation, non violence, Black & White People come together as one. I admire Gandhi & MLK as well Admiring The Obamas
I adore MLK as much as gandhi . American people are very luck to have MLK .
Now, comparing obama with MLK and gandhi is not appropriate. He literally bombed marriages, innocent civilians in my neighbouring country.

"Intellectual Use of Police."
Train the Police not Defund
If only there was a way to scale back police power and influence to the levels they were back then so the contexts matched. 🤔
@@anthonynorman7545 I mean, I don't support any brutality but the best way to make the police effective is to put the best policemen out there, same with teachers, doctors, and other jobs tackling life and or death situation. If the police is poorly funded then the police will be less qualified therefore more violent in some cases.
@@markrebollido5551 I didn't say anything about brutality

Okay vandalised
In Canada Toronto
Parliament square London
And in USA
I don't know where
@Archana Achu when he was young
And mind it
Gandhi is from a really early time in which all races were not considered equal
It was the mentality of the whole globe at that time
So u can't blame him for that
Greats like Churchill , Darwin were all racist at a level higher
But u can't cancel their achievements to fit your propaganda
By today's standards many 20th century greats are racists but by their standards it was normal
The great Nelson Mandela
Had defended Gandhi's comments
And he is a pioneer in black rights in south Africa
Can't debate that can you
Churchill was racist
I agree with that
He has told lots of bad things about indians but u should consider the age he was in
He was born in 1874 the Victorian age
Where racism as per today's standards were everywhere
When the law itself treated other races with inequality you don't expect the ppl of the age to do the same
You need a revolution to do that which was the great civil rights movement and all other great movements
And there were almost no groups which demanded equal rights for blacks
Such a wise and brave man. An American hero.
Great informative video. Would you mind telling me who the interviewer was?
Love and respect to Martin Luther King Junior from India
There is no fear in love. When you love you won't have a reason to be violent. Violent people are cowards.
Inspirational words. Thank you. R.I.P
♥️ Ghandi 🇮🇳 Rest in Peace Legend!!! ❤️🕉️
Put "violence" in this context of protecting ones self, and that's exactly what it is - Protecting yourself. Society will try to tell you by showing pride and protecting yourself, your somehow not patriotic. So bow to the racism to show your patriotism! It's not racism, it's reacting to racism. Non violence doesn't work.

So we definitely outnumbered them. We could have just stormed their houses, army camps and kicked them out.

Because Gandhi prevented it.
Surely, had the INC not become popular, we would have all those princely states fighting against each other and lost millions of lives. But that's just hypothetical.

@@learntechnologyandenglish101 That's not a hypothetical argument. That my friend is a fact. Why do you think He had to jump from Non cooperation to Civil Disobedience and Poorna swaraj and then quit india spread across 3 decades. and still wait till British fight their war in europe while indians were dying here and abroad. Was that acceptable for the Ahimsavadi. Don't whitewash a hypocrite. He passively supported violence when it suited him. But always made that an excuse to slowdown Indian freedom movements. He even ostracized other leaders so that they wont find support among the masses. So yeah i would say he did slow down our freedom and that is not hypothesis.
