Hi David, and welcome, it's great to have you onboard. it's always been the people even though the natural beauty, beaches, food etc are great, Thanks for taking the time to say hi, David.
Fantastic videos Wayne. I think that the ones you tend to say are a little bit disjointed are actually the best. I really enjoy your interactions with people and hearing the real stories of Bali. Can’t wait to visit again in April.
Hey Brett. isn't that the truth. While there are friendly people in Australia, it's nowhere near the open warmth you find toward strangers here in Bali. Thanks for stopping by.
So now you know where eggs come from Wayne 😮😂 Or is that white Wine.....!🤣🤣🤣🤣 Yes....the Old Bali is still there.....alive and well, just need to slow down and stray from the well trodden tourist path 🙏💙🙏 So much activity and constant tending the needs of the family and the village. Great insight.....even though I understand and know this its a great reminder of how much effort and logistics goes into keeping everything running smoothly.... BALI STYLE.... Really kind of you, vicko. I love the random humor like the egg seller was throwing out, so much fun. The Balinese do have an approach to life, or a way about it, that is really inviting.
I've been visiting Bali since 1979 and can say that you can just wander down a gang practically anywhere (even in tourist areas) and you'll come across the old Bali. You just have to be prepared to look a bit longer to find it. Of course, most Balinese carry the old Bali within them.
Hi Brad. You're right of course, but it can seem sometimes it's less obvious as things develop at the pace they do here. I'm envious of you guys who here in the sixties and seventies. Thanks for dropping by.

Enjoying your videos immensely. Good to see how well youve grasped Bahasa Indonesia. Ubud is changing fast. Far too many tourists and music bars for my liking but its still a wonderful place and gateway to the rural /mountainous regions to the North. Keep making great content.

@SouthernCrossGO yes, because when we learn a new language, we translate from what we know from our original language to the new language. It takes time before the words are 'melded' in the brain, as in, the original language and the new one just becomes a given. Does that make sense? In Indonesian, the way things are said are sort of reversed, in a sentence structure and none of all of these tiny words, like in English. Like... in English... we would say...
