- Japan can be one of the most simple, slow, and sometimes boring countries you’ve ever been to. At the same time, Japan can be one of the most beautiful, fascinating, and bizarre countries as well. You just gotta know where to look, or like in this video, get lucky. I’m cycling from Gunma to Kyushu in search of the beautiful and bizarre that I know Japan has to offer. And in this video, I found plenty of it…

this is interesting, very very interesting..
@@kokisakti1616 Japan is a country where my friend lives, good for travel, well preserved tradition and very kind women.
And my grandfa said that there was a principal in elementary school with a Samurai sword in Japan colony era. I am a Korean.
@@skitakaujou i see,
I lived in Japan for 4 years, and yet so many hidden things.
Not Japan Sea. It is East Sea.

The opening is very good, you already know Japan completely!
Even if those buildings are abandoned, they still maintain their original appearance. Japan is really amazing!
If dogs appeared in hotels in other countries, no tourists would want to check in!
The last family should be specializing in hosting international people, haha! That little girl is so cute!
Thanks a lot for sharing, really amazing job! 👍😍👏
Ha I think you’re right about the dogs. Only in Japan! Thanks for watching as always 🙏
@@NickKTravel It is my pleasure, thanks to you too!
Take good care! Happy travels! 👍🥰🙏
I've watched all the Korean videos and am watching the Japanese videos. It's a shame that the East Sea is called the Sea of Japan. Because of Japan's distortion of history, not only Nick but many people know it that way. Japan is a beautiful, clean, and attractive country. However, historical distortion is wrong. I hope that correct historical education and correction of historical distortion will spread widely.
Yup I get a good impression of Japan off the beaten paths. I definitely believe Japan can be spooky at some places. The abandoned building behind the temple and the statue is completely bizarre. I wonder if you would pitch your tent at such a place, I would be afraid of ghosts. I feel the desolation throughout the entire series anyway, I guess people from the villages move to big cities. It’s nice to have some people around you at the overnight stay at the Warm Shower . Good insight of the Japan economy which can explain the abandoned buildings and wasted investments. Thanks for this episode and safe travels.
I’ve thought about camping in places like that before! Might make for a good video too. Yeah it’s super quiet in the countryside of Japan. Def was nice staying in the Warm Shower with friendly folks!
대한해협을 일본해라고 발음하시네요.. 정정이 필요할 듯 합니다. 대한해협 위쪽은 동해입니다. (EAST SEA)
Omg 🙄
동해가 아니고 한국해!
제발좀…
Good urban exploration in that Japanese ghost town.
Thanks again for sharing your journey. It's so interesting to see the historic & current society of Japan. I am concerned about friends from Japan visiting the U.S. now and what impact the current world economy will be on us and them as we are so connected financially. Especially as the Petro💲just 💥. Take care. 🚴♂️
Thank you! One thing is for sure though, Japan will always figure out a way
I saw you riding a bicycle just now😊
It's hot so please be careful.
2:41 thanks for the bike shots
I’ll try to include more!
Ooohh nice pull nick yeahh this is the exact double of Kenjeran park in Surabaya. Im from surabaya so yeah the recreational function there are almost completely abandoned but the temple is still used by the buddhist here in surabaya (mostly chinese indonesian buddist). 👍
Oh you’re from Surabaya, nice! Yeah that amusement park was something else. And the people living in the backside of it too, just crazy
@@NickKTravel yeah the "theme park" are just bad overall. Like why would you want to go there when you can spend like 1/2 hours by car or bus to go to malang and batu and go to their amazing jatim park there (i think you should try that if u ever came back to indo especially in batu or malang).
There’s a lot of abandoned buildings in Gunma. Shima Onsen machi is so beautiful but there’s hardly any people there it’s shocking.
yup I've been through there too. so beautiful up there! and you're right, quite a bit of abandoned hotels

Nice💯👌👍😎
Big old American cars like that Cadillac used to be the preferred mode of transportation for the Yakuza. Some unfortunate soul may have met their end in that car before it was abandoned there.
Hey Nick, may I know what kind of bike you have? Thanks.
It’s a Marin Four Corners gravel bike

Yea back then in bali when i was a kid i accidentally threw a tissue i was holding when i was running around near my hotel room and then an old bule couple screamed and scolded me to search it up lol. They had me rummaging thru the bushes lol. Bro i was scared as hell after that i always try not to litter as much as i could. I guess i could thank them for creating a good habit and keeping the street clean lmao 😅
Haha that’s fine. I don’t the bule should be scolding other kids like that tho, especially when it’s not their country. One time Bobby dropped some trash outside of Ibnu’s house and I just yelled his name and gave him a “wth are you doing” look and he got the idea! He picked it right back up and threw it away
@@NickKTravel Yeah it's similar to my story. I vividly remember they were yelling something like pick that trash up go search for it (something like that cuz i couldn't understand english when i was a kid lol). But i couldn't find the tissue in the end and i just ran off and gave them the MJ shrug and they were mumbling and grumbling 🤣. Bruh imagine being a lil asian kid getting yelled at by a couple of big old fat bules that quadrupled your size. Shit was scary fr 💀
Hi Nick…yup trash in the 🇵🇭 as well…mind boggling. I grew up in 🇨🇦 and 🇺🇸 and I will never get the mindset of my fellow Pinoys here in the 🇵🇭. I see them throw their trash anywhere after they eat. We just don’t do that in 🇺🇸 and 🇨🇦.
Investment is always a hard decision to make especially here in the 🇵🇭. I’ll stick to what I have in 🇺🇸. For now it’s nice to live here. $1 is about 58.80 pesos.
Boring and weird especially that dog resort. It’s open but nobody there. The hotel with the shrine so eerily bizarre. What a fascinating video and that’s a full house 😊 at the end of your bike ride. Take care 🙏
Is it really that bad in the Philippines? I guess I didn’t notice it. I also didn’t go to many places either.
People were def getting carried away with the investments back then!
✌️
What town is it, nick?
wow, so empty, where is everybody???
Well, in Indonesia, all the stuffs in an abandone place will be gone soon and became a money 😂
very post-apocalyptic vibes
Bizarre right
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, NICK! AND I'M STILL WAITING FOR YOUR INDONESIAN VLOGS AGAIN. REMEMBER THAT AUGUST 17TH IS INDONESIA'S INDEPENDENCE DAY, HOPE YOU'LL BE THERE ON TO WATCH THE OCCASION
Thanks Man! I'll see what I can do!
Hey bro Are you in India now ?
nope
i hope you not go to JAV studios man!😂😂😂
