- In this video, we are heading from the north coast of Lovina and making our way to Ubud. Along the way, we meet some of the nicest locals, some of whom actually let us stay in their Balinese home. They fed us and let us sleep in one of their bed outside, again, we are extremely fortunate to meet some of the nicest and friendliest people along our journey.

In Bali, some open area are used to burn the dead body. After they burned they have ceremonial. That's why you're not allowed to stay at that place

Well nick..as a balinese it might be creepy to sleep on any family "bale dangin" coz it usually for resting the passed away person of the family. But anyway it was better than side road camping ..safer yet creepy for me..hahaha

Oh, wait- that was by Ulun Danu, right? I was told that people don't swim in the lake that Ulun Danu is on because it's said that there are a bunch of drownings there. I have no idea if that's true, and it sounded skeptical when I was told that- yet I didn't actually see anyone swimming. Shame too, because that's a beautiful lake!

Well that kids might be me 30 years ago..just ride bike and hang out to lovina and try my best courage to speak any broken english. But it works dude ! I was the team leader for english club back then at smansa singaraja. Good old memories..
