The only thing I would have done differently, would be to insulate the rim plate area before putting up the insofast. If your really keen, you can use the insofast, and it it around the joists. This will create a continuous insulation barrier all the way from the cold rim, to the foundation base, and help keep the moisture away (which should help against mold).

I installed the boxes and ran the wire as I installed the panels…way easier than cutting and fishing wire afterwards

Finished my basement remodel with this product, overall it works very well. Helps if your walls are straight, clean and dry. I used a masonry waterproofing product over block walls. As with any below grade job moisture and water control is vital, what i like about this product is it acts as a vapor barrier but will allow some migration from the wall to the interior. Its not cheap but it beats lugging a ton of framing material.

What's the price? I can't stand when companies don't put a price right on the website and they make you request a quote. That's a sure sign that it's overpriced haha

That would be against code where I live you have to have a foot airgap between the basement concreate wall and the drywall.

Wow 1 foot! I am guessing that local code is for condensation issues against foundation walls? If so, then this is probably not a good solution if you live somewhere with incredibly high humidity and have condensation concerns.

      Interesting where is that …?

We are in Colorado. Very little humidity if any and no code requirements for an air gap. However, I have heard of people having issues with this product in humid (and I'm guessing cold) climates where water condensation builds up between the concrete and the insulation. Do your research before installing this and make sure you don't have requirements for air gaps. Also, if you call insofast, they will tell you if you can or cannot use it in your region. I do believe there are different installation methods to keep water away and drain it safely if you need to do so.

I have trouble believing this. 12" is an extremely long distance for moisture gapping. In Canada, its only 3" recommendation, and we get lots of condensation and cold.
