I live in Gustavus Alaska (about a 20 minute flight from Juneau) and work alongside the National Park Rangers on Cruise ships as they sail through Glacier Bay. have lived in South East Alaska for over 30 years and I am still amazed by it’s beauty on a daily basis. I am researching things to see and do on our upcoming trip to Alaska on the NCL Sun in 2021 and have been watching a lot of videos. That being said. Yours was absolutely amazing!! You have a great eye for capturing some amazing sites. We are from Florida ourselves and we are going in July so it is very helpful to hear that it is a bit cold for people who live down here. Carolyn G. Hey. Thanks, to be honest didn’t even think of doing vlog, just music video, thanks alot. For laser tag you can use any type of mount, even you can carry it in your hand, its not as extreme. Btw try to do go cart in rain, it’s totally different experience since it will drift like real car.
I was thinking to don”t do vlogs, but just music videos which I enjoy, but if you insist, I might do in 3 months one incredible one, hopefully all will work out

Monica Kraut Glad to share my experience with anyone! We only did 2 excursions through the cruise lines as we had a deal that when you book an excursion through them, they refund you $50 into your onboard credit. We did Mendellhall Glacier in Juneau and Salmon Hatchery for $89 USD. It included a short bus tour and in the hatchery for no more than 20 minutes. Then a 15 minute drive to the glacier where you walk approximately 30 minutes each way (moderate speed) to visit the beautiful waterfall and closer look of the glacier. The visitor centre has some more information but you’ll need to walk there. The bus then takes you into town or back to cruise to explore on your own before boarding the ship. Next one was Skagway White Pass Raul ride (1 and half hour train ride) up the mountain and an explanation of the history. We pass through Canada boarder on this trip so we stop for some photo opportunities as well boarder security. Our bus driver was waiting for us when the train ride was complete to take us back down to town. We then end up going to Gold Panning for approximately 40 mins where you pan for gold, they weigh your worth and give you a tour. This was overall 5 hour excursion from 7:30am to lunch time. Cost was $249 USD (little bit pricey) After that, we were on our own. There are other tour companies promoting when you dock in a particular town. We stopped at Ketchikan and bought a private tour to the Saxman Totem Park, drive through Herring Cove and saw a bear, and see Salmon in a lake. This was overall 2 and half hours for $50 per person (cash deal) and it was fine for us. I would have liked to do more excursion, however, we felt 2 were comfortable. You explore the towns and the environment wherever you go. Excursions are applicable if you were to go Dog Sledding, or Climb a glacier ect. But have a look at your budget, see what days you’d like to explore and go ahead! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask☺️

Is the cruise ship rocky? Planning on cruise in July to Alaska in the Bliss. Staying mid ship. Just want to be prepared.
its not at all, you won't feel a shake, maybe a bit nausea if you first timer on the cruise
can you actually go in the pools or the slides on the ship or is it too cold?
inbarshema depends when you go but i went in the summer and it was amazing you should go if you have the chance

Most likely going on this cruise the last week of june, any recommendations?
My recommendation is to wake up-early and enjoy the nature first and forget about night life, it can wait at home. Have a blessed trip and weather
