We went on the NCL Encore Panama Canal cruise for 21 days. We only had desserts two meals. NCL is our go to cruise line. We love the casual dress and free style dining.
Thanks for sharing. We are on this ship in August for Alaska..... I did not know you could have breakfast at margaritaville ..yummy. This will be my first time on a NCL cruise. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for watching. You will have a great time! We loved both breakfast and lunch at Margaritaville. The slower pace of breakfast was great there, just not quite as much selection as the buffet.
Happy to hear the video was helpful. Margaritaville was a great breakfast spot, just be sure to visit at the beginning of the cruise because people start to find it toward the end. Thanks for watching!
BTW, I admire your discipline in skipping meals like lunch on embarkation day and skipping dinner because of big lunches, etc. One a cruise ship, that takes discipline.
Thanks for watching! It can be tough sometimes, we tend to hang out in areas though that don't really have much food around. The Waterfront on the Bliss was great for this. No food spots except the bakery with their expensive cupcakes. If I had hung out around the buffet or Observation Lounge, I would have grazed all day long!
Chris got a couple of those muffins one morning when we were on the Jewel and I think the paper wrappings are such a fancy, nice touch. We love NCL's 24-hour dining venue, did they have mozzarella sticks? I agree that their wings are DELICIOUS. Thank you for the review, this is a great video!
Planning a cruise in July to Alaska on the Bliss. Very sensitive to motion sickness, do you feel any rockiness during the cruise? I’ll be in mid-ship deck 9.
We have never sailed Alaska, so I can't speak directly to what those cruises are like. We have sailed in so many different conditions from calm waters to 42 foot seas. We are now used to most of it and don't do anything to mitigate it. We have used Scopolamine in the past. These are three day patches you wear behind the ear that help with motion sickness if all other things don't work. They are prescription only. There are also a number of over the counter medications. Just be sure to go prepared. Try searching "how to avoid getting seasick on a cruise". Lots of videos out there on the subject.
just got back from Alaska.....heres what you should avoid and NOT pay for.......Los Lobos....SUCKS......Q Texas BBQ...SUCKS.......Cagneys and Margaritaville was really good....Cagneys was the best we had on the ship......Teppanyaki was just same ole same ole.....the steak, chicken and shrimp was good, but the sides were kind of bland...the Local was ok comfort food....we were in The Haven and that was well worth the extra cost.....Awesome service and food at every meal and at the bar and observation lounge....if you can manage the extra costs, do it....you wont be disappointed.....we didnt eat at Garden Cafe or Ocean Blue...even though the Los Lobos and Q Tex BBQ were horrible, we would still go back to the Bliss.....its an awesome ship and even though we missed Ketchikan due to very bad weather, we would do this again.....it was our 3rd cruise to Alaska on Norwegian.......hope this review helps someone decide what to do.
we live in Texas were you get great BBQ and Mexican food.....Los Lobos and Q arent that.....Q BBQ tried to pass off large square chunks of very fatty brisket as "short ribs"...horrible...the fried okra and cornbread were good
So excited!! We're on board this upcoming May... looking forward to it!

I am planning August cruise on bliss. This helps knowing there is a hidden breakfast spot

Thanks for watching Jamie!!! I am famous for my slo-mo eating of burgers and wings!
Great recap ! Love it
You certainly enjoyed many more options than we explored. I cannot wait to sail Bliss again and try more tasty meals. Hugs!
The Bliss certainly had a lot of great food! We will have to see how the Encore compares this fall. Thanks for watching Favor & Robert!
Thank you for this video! I’ll be on Bliss next year!
Thanks for watching. It is a great ship!!! Enjoy!
Food looks great! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Looks incredible. We didn’t know you could get breakfast at Margaritaville!
Margaritaville breakfast is the hidden gem on these ships. Thanks for watching The Lido Life!

Great video! I loved seeing all the plates.
Glad you enjoyed the video. We should have one coming up in the near future featuring food from the NCL Encore! Thanks for watching!

I don't remember for sure about mozzarella sticks, but I would have to think they didn't because if they did we probably would have ordered some.

Great information very informative
Thanks for watching. We will also have a video coming out in the near future of food we had on the Norwegian Encore!
Have you tried the International cafe free and unlimited food on a Princess Cruise yet? Thank you for sharing this video.
We have yet to sail on a Princess cruise. Thanks for watching.
This made me hungry 😋
It all looked delicious!
It certainly was great food. We are looking forward to the same on the Norwegian Encore this fall. Thanks for watching Michelle!
Is there any charges for room service?
We didn't order room service, but I do recall a convenience charge would be added to any room service orders. Thanks for watching.
The Encore will not have a Margaritaville on board.
Sad to hear that. We will have to find a new favorite breakfast spot. Thanks for watching!

Hey Mark, do recall much more the Haven was over a regular state room with balcony?
