    I sailed on the Bliss in November to the Mexican Riviera. It was nice and the weather was great. We were late leaving Cabo, as a family arrived 45 minutes late back to the ship via tender. I do agree that the excursions are well organized and for the most part, worth the cost. Disembarkation was chaotic and seemed to be a never ending line, but it did move pretty smooth for us. I stayed in a studio cabin and really enjoyed the solo lounge area. I had some friend who were staying in a balcony, and their room had the same issue with left behind items. There was nothing left behind in my cabin. It may just be the room steward or the fact that they are still understaffed. I enjoyed both Six and Jersey Boys while on board, and agree that the cast for both is top notch. Thanks for the great content!

    Not all NCL theme parties are adults only. The GLOW Party on my cruse in 2019 had a lot of kids; only the nightclub after 11:30pm was adults age eighteen and older only.

    My wife and I just got back yesterday from a five day Norwegian cruise bliss down to the Mexican Riviera from Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas and back. Overall, it was a great experience. There was so much to do so much to go and walk around. The Wi-Fi was not good, but it did not bother me at all because it made us really be present in the moment. Cabo was great and it’s funny that you could not do either because we were supposed to dock in Ensenada on the fourth day, but due to High winds we were unable to also. I would definitely take another cruise again. I would just need to relax a little bit more because I’m the type of person that gets nervous and a little bit of anxiety on a plane during turbulence so when the sea is a little bumpy it’s hard for me to enjoy myself.

      @@russellleboeuf8637 I recommend getting a flight into Los Angeles the day before if you can if you are unable to check in online, you need to get to the pier by 12 PM noon. Besides that really enjoy it and your flight out of Los Angeles. It’s good to have it in the afternoon. Even though our schedule said we would be docked in Los Angeles by 7 AM. Sometimes it could take a couple hours to get off the ship but just take your bags with you and leave whenever so you don’t have to wait for your group number to be called. Besides all that enjoy yourselves it’s a lot of fun.

    We've been on the Bliss twice: once to the Caribbean and recently to Alaska. We stayed in the Haven section of the ship. It's an unbelievable experience. It's more expensive, but to us, it's definitely worth it. Check it out!

      I went by and someone had cracked the door open so I stayed in the Haven’s pool area. Noobdy bothered me or cared or asked for ID. Not bad for a guy who booked an inside cabin.😊

      @@westonmartinez7210 #1 make sure you get the Butlers name and phone number on day one.
      #2 The Haven cordless room phone is meant to be carried anywhere on the ship . You can call your Butler 24/7 anywhere on the ship to get anything you want. THE BUTLERS NEGLECT TO TELL YOU THIS PERK.
      #3 It is a good idea to get the Consigniers phone number also. If your Butler dont answer the Consigniers find him real fast.
      Remember your Consigniers will make all your dinner / shows / excusions for you and amazingly things that a sold out suddenly are not for you.
      Enjoy the Haven

    Was really interested in this because it’s the main NCL ship running out of Los Angeles (I live in Northern San Diego) …glad it seemed okay and really glad the shows were good and the food was above average

    We had a less than wonderful experience on the Bliss last week. April 2024.It was half full of spoiled children on Spring break. The ship was full and getting places (had to use elevators) was very slow, always waiting for an elevator and then being squished by obese vacationers. Always bumping into people trying to walk around the ships. No empty chairs. Drinking water was not free. A glass of wine? $19-29 a GLASS. Jersey Boys was good. Food was ok. Want to go to a speciality restaurant? You can pay hundreds of dollars more. Restaurants were so loud you could not have a conversation; and service was very slow. There was one small pool that was “adults only” in the middle of the large outdoor party area. Children peeing in jacuzzis, no adults-only jacuzzi. What a massage? You have to buy a package of Over $400. Want wifi? I spent $125 for 200 minutes; only worked some of the time. We visited Victoria and then there was a 3 hour cruise time to Vancouver, our last port. Get this!!! Instead, the ship went back out to sea and sailed in circles all day and night 🤬(calling that a day at sea) and only docked at Vancouver EARLY the last morning and we had to leave the with all our luggage. The ship gave us color- groups to leave the ship at certain times; Didn’t matter, the lines to leave the ship were hours long. We had our luggage with us but the bus tours of Vancouver for passengers was full before we even got on the ship, so we were taken to the Vancouver airport eight hours ahead of our flight home. No suggestions for an alternative. We Never saw Vancouver, the highlight of the trip. Never Again Norwegian!🤯

      I was on the same cruise. very crowded waiting and using the elevators. Seating in the buffet area was hard to find. Drinks were very expensive! Food was average, I've been on several different cruise ships and have had better. the always seemed to be luke warm at best. The Teppanyaki restaurant was obnoxiously loud! Food was good there, but way to loud cooks. I would not return for a Norwegian cruise.

    Very good and interesting video. I just got off the Bliss from an Alaska Cruise. I have different opinions on some of this. Def agree the Getting off was a mess. Of course I have a video on the Bliss as well and my opinions of it. Wasn't too bad, not the best cruise I have been on. *I never seen or went to a Theme party, I think I went to bed too early for those lol

  • @a2mark57
    @a2mark57 8 месяцев назад

    FWIW, the poolside theme parties have felt more than a bit lame to me on my last few cruises. Some nights NCL hands out glow sticks, so it's colorful, at least. But no matter the theme, it seems to end up being: a DJ yelling stereotypical DJ crap ("Put your hand up, party people!" "Let me hear you, Bliss!" "Are you having fun?!"); little kids running around sword-fighting with light-up sabers and/or glow whips; a ton of people standing in a big, bunched-up crowd in front of the DJ booth; a handful of people actually *dancing* occasionally on the perimeter. I remember earlier NCL cruises' deck parties in which people spread out more, actually danced, and interacted with each other. Those were a lot of fun. These days, I'll sometimes check out the deck gatherings briefly, but do my dancing and partying in The Social (or whatever they call the room that becomes a late-night club).

    I never went to a deck party in my recent Breakaway cruise, but Spice H2O was open to all ages after 7pm (there was a sign up all day), so I doubt any of the deck parties hosted there were adults only.
