To add on Sekiro not having difficulty settings: There are a couple things in the game that changes things, but only to make things HARDER
MrAssasination1 the game doesnt need any different difficulty settings, its meant to be very hard. Thats the point. If you're buying a hard game, you shouldnt complain when it isnt easy.

DMC5 was my first entry into the DMC universe. Actually, if you know nothing about the lore, there is a short video before you start a new game that summarises the lore for the entire series. Was pretty awesome and explained enough for me to understand what was going on :)

That, and Alone in the Dark suffers from the same kind of adventure game moon logic puzzles that Myst and Zork did, whereas RE was simplified just a bit for not-insane people...

I like to think of the cutscene quality differences in the Yakuza games goes like this. "We can only afford to animate 40 percent of the scenes in this game, so choose wisely." Its kind of cool, because if you want to mash through the story, you can basically speed read everything, and just pay attention when a pretty cutscene happen, and you'll understand everything you need.
