My 2017 XT5 just started having sensor issues. How do I know if this device is what I need or if I need to replace the sensors? I did just get brand new tires put on about a month ago so I'm hoping I just need this machine. Thanks for any insight!
Yes! When the light and error first showed up... my back left rear tire wasn't reading (no numbers shown) and now my front left tire isn't showing a reading but the rear is showing again. Right sensors have been fine.
@@karenstailey5910 I would start by trying to relearn all 4 tires. If the problem tire won’t relearn and that sensor more than likely needs to be replaced.
The device is an EL-50488 GM TPMS relearn tool available for around $10 USD on eBay, Amazon, etc.
Helpful bro. Thanks
@@marcokawar5459 glad it helped, thanks for watching

Does the info center show any of the tires are working?

@@ToolboxTipzdoesn't hurt to try! Thanks for this video! Super helpful
@@karenstailey5910happening now to my wife’s XT5.. Was it the sensors themselves or did you simply relearn them by doing this??
What is that device called?
TPMS Relearn tool
Thank you!
Perfect thanks

You can just let air out of the tire to relearn.. I’ve had 4 caddies so I know 🫡✅
@@Ebookwriter936 yes you can or you can use the tool so you don’t need to add air again. Both options work great
